Having just left the company of an injured Proto and the large gathering of other bots, Bubble hops his way down the corridors, heading towards the elevator. His destination? Bass' floor to check on the other bot since Proto had mentioned that the other had taken some damage as well. He had a couple of E-tanks in hand, figuring that might be a nice gesture for the other. Getting into the elevator, he looks at the buttons for a moment before finally pushing one of them, thinking that it might go to Bass' floor. He wasn't a hundred percent sure on where everyone was just yet, but it never hurt to figure things out through trial and error, right? The doors dinged closed, and the elevator started its climb up to the floor he'd pressed.

Bass was a bit more put together than Proto. Thankfully his voice box had been fixed and he wasn't skipping. Well, fixed was a big word. Bass was still making a mechanical sounding whine. Whatever. Skipping was gone and he was content. He was in his room, laying on his bed and just thinking back, trying to remember exactly what happened. Oh, Wily told him, but there was just something about not being able to remember that pissed him off. "I wasn't even near the stupid thing," he mumbled to himself. His door was open, mainly because he was half expecting Proto to come in here and curl up in his b***h Corner. Still, he would be open for guests.

After numerous failed attempts at finding what he thought was the right floor (random button pushing at it's best, yo), wandering the halls aimlessly and getting himself a bit lost, then returning back to the break area in dismay, Bubble almost didn't make another attempt to check on Bass. However, having gotten the info from Proto on his return, he decides to give it one last time, arriving at the right floor this time. The door was open? That was... rather strange, Bubble thinks. Still, he hops over to stand just outside the door and knocks, well, more like kicks gently at the door frame. His arms were full trying to keep four E-tanks from falling to the floor now. "Bass? You in there?" He calls softly, not wanting to just barge on in, even if the other had left his door open like that.

His head snapped up when he heard a.. familiar but unfamiliar voice. Not Proto. Sitting up on the bed, he tilted his head and saw the E-Tanks first, then Bubble. "Yo. Bubble, yeah." Rolling off the bed, the still unhelmeted blondie moved over to the other and grabbed two of those E-Tanks. "Guess you're the Calvary." He was attempting to be something other than a douchebag, but he wasn't sure if that was going to come across properly. Bubble better recognize that was as good as a thank you as he was going to get.

Bubble heaves a sigh of relief at hearing that the other was there... Or... sort of? That mechanical whine certainly didn't sound familiar... And was that... blond hair? He takes all this in, not saying anything about the voice or hair. He took the Calvary comment as a compliment of sorts, and he was sure it was, coming from the other bot. "Yeah, I just wanted to check on you and see how you were, after seeing the state Proto was in in the break room." He hops a little ways into the room, tilting his head at Bass. "So it looks like you fared better than Proto from what happened. That's good to see." His tail wags a bit. "Means you should soon be back to normal, yeah?"

"Proto was more in the line of fire than I was." Blue ears. He gave a quite, amused laugh at the memory and shrugged. "Mmmn, yeah. Wily's gotta get my voice completely fixed, but for the most part I'm better." He swallowed and brought a hand to his throat, tapping on it lightly before shrugging an looked Bubble over. So he saw Proto first? That was good. Proto might be Lonely Hope or whatever bullshit he spouted, but the bot seemed to like company. ..Now he wanted a straw for this E-Tank.

Bubble frowns a bit behind his mask at the first bit. That would certainly explain Proto's arm still being in a sling, at least. "That's really good. Well, not good about Proto being more in the way of the attack, but good that the voice bit is really all you need fixed. What are you planning to do when you're all fixed up, if you don't mind me asking?" He was tempted to see if Bass wanted to hang out some time in the future, but first he'd probably better think of what the other bot might like to do, before asking. He almost forgot that he still held a couple of straws clenched in one of his hands. Finally seeming to remember he held them, he holds the hand up and offers one to Bass. "Want one?"

Yes please wasn't said, but he yoinked a straw out of bubble's hand and put it in the E-Tank in a matter of seconds before starting to sip and just made a pleased, happy noise. "Mmm.." It wasn't as metallic because he was drinking something, but it still wasn't normal. He sat back down on the bed, crossed his legs as he did and just got comfortable, making a motion for Bubble to sit. "Mm. Aside from this, d'ya need anything?"

Bubble thinks for a moment, then shakes his head a bit. "Not really. I just wanted to see how you were doing and if you wanted some company or not. And if you needed anything?" He carefully sets one of the other e-tanks down where Bass could reach it later if he wanted it, then opens his own and starts sipping at it. He didn't want to over-stay his welcome here in Bass' room, so he would probably leave when it became obvious the other was done with company for now.

Bubble was a surprise, really, one of the last bots he thought to come see him. Well, quite honestly it was a giant surprise anyone would come visit him, but whatever. "...I don't know if I need anything other than.. E-Tanks and E-Pops.." Like hell he was spilling his need for Proto in his rooms at night to make things better at night for him. Better for both of them, actually. His tail flicked this way and that as he sipped slowly. "Mmm.. Need more E-Tanks. ..Uh, thanks for this, by the way. Definitely... needed it." He didn't want to get sappy with someone, but yeah. He was grateful.

Silly Bass. Bubble would visit any of the bots if they were injured. Even if trying to find their floor and room did get him lost at times in the hallways. He probably would have tried looking for Proto's room earlier if he hadn't run into Proto in the break area, after all. He considered all the bots in the Tower more or less as friends and family.
He smiles again behind his mask and gives a nod. "Hrm... Maybe I'll see if we can find an E-tank vending machine for everyone's rooms next time I'm in the city. Or maybe make the suggestion to Dr. Wily next time I see him. Would certainly make keeping energy levels up after we've been injured a lot easier than wasting energy having to go find and get them." Hearing Bass say he needed some more E-tanks, Bubble nods again. "You're welcome. Next time I might stuff a bunch in a box to carry and see how that works out." He really was glad that both bots were more or less ok from the attack. Wily too, of course, but the Tower wouldn't be the same without Bass and Proto bickering at each other like an old married couple, Bubble thought. "You should have been in the break area earlier though. When Quick heard about the attack, he was furious. He's probably going to make it his goal to punch that guy Flashover in the face as hard as he can." The others really hadn't said much about the news themselves, although Bubble was certainly going to try to catch Flashover in one of his bubbles if he ever ran into the b*****d rebel leader. "A bunch of us are going into the city to do some shopping for things for our rooms. Proto's going too. Would you maybe like to come along?" Couldn't hurt to ask, right?

He listened to Bubble ramble on about something or other and he just drank from the E-tank with the straw. Swallowing a bit more, he hummed and licked his lips lightly before letting his tail flick from side to side. "...Shopping." That was sarcastically said and he gave the other bot a look like he was crazy or something. Slowly, he listened again when he said Proto was going to go and then was really confused as to why. What could Proto want for his room in the Tower? Proto was hardly in his room anymore. He was always in Bass's room. Like hell he was going to let Proto decorate. Everything would be back like his soul or something equally as depressing sounding. He ran a hand through his blond hair with a tired expression as he tried to figure out why Proto was going shopping. "....Yeah, I guess I can go for a little bit. Not... too long though."

Bubble heard the sarcasm when Bass mentioned shopping and was prepared to write the other coming as a lost cause. When the other then voiced an agreement, Bubble gives a small nod. "Hopefully it won't take too long. Um. We're all meeting down in the main entryway, so I'll leave you to get ready and see you downstairs then." Grinning behind his mask, he hops out of the room towards the elevator, planning on getting a cloak or something to put over himself before he headed back downstairs to meet up with the others.
