He had been afraid of that...
Groaning, he managed to carry the dead-weight back to the hospital at a steady clip, then, with a bit of difficulty, managed to make it back up into her window. Thankfully there were no nurses about that he could see - so he gently placed her back in bed, covered her up... and did the best he could with her clips and things, then powered down and sank into the chair near the head of her bed..
The IV's he'd have to leave hanging so he hit the page nurse button to let them know she'd woken up - hopefully she would again...
With that all accomplished, he laid his head down on the mattress - and passed out. He was so bloody done.
