Demise has the power to deteriorate anything within close proximity to him, extending to a little past the tip of his weapon held at the end of the shaft. Anything close to him slowly withers and ages while they are close to him but the effect immediately reverses once they leave its range. This effect can be turned on and off at will, an is often used as a deterrent to make people run in fear. He is also an artist with his weapon, an ax that he has named Judgement, which can also fire blasts of demonic energy in the form of blue and white flames. Also his strength and powers as a demon make him a force to be reckoned against mortal man.
Weakness:
Demise is relatively slow due to his hulking size and weight from his equipment, making him vulnerable to anyone agile enough to escape his strikes. Also he has a tendency to crush things underfoot, and weak floors will often crumple under his weight, although this does make him an immovable object from outside forces.
Bio:
Demise as a human was literally born and raised in hell on earth. He lived in a prison of darkness, where little light shined and chances of escape were nigh impossible. However he managed to work the strength to escape and made it into the outside world. He had become strong for years of training in the hellish pit and fell in love with a woman, although he could never be with her because of his background. She came from a family of wealthy nobles whereas he had nothing to his name, until one fateful day. One day he came across a crossroads demon, one that said that he could grant him his wish. But all things come at a price, and the price that he paid was his heart and soul. He had become a wealthy man and managed to marry the one he loved but he felt empty. The feelings that he had felt for her were gone and it was too late for him to realize that once the contract was made, he had lost everything he lived for. In his growing despair to be human he lost it, and became a bloodthirsty warlord, killing anyone and everyone. In the end he killed his wife, and for one brief instant was able to see what he had done. He was so filled with grief and anguish that he took his own life. But he was unable to move on even in death for he had sold his soul, condemning it to Hell, where he was born as a demon, and a powerful one because of all the rage and hate that he had built up inside him over the course of his mortal life. His human name was lost and was now replaced with Demise, because his death and the deaths that came to those who crossed his path.
Interesting Facts:
Demise still retains full memory of his past life, but never shows his emotions. And even those who have known him since he had first become a demon would be wise to keep their mouths shut.
