[Part One] Recruitment One month had passed since Commander R. Shepard's death had been reported.
With her gone, there was no one left to stop the council from ignoring all evidence of a reaper threat. Those who witnessed Sovereign's destruction directly were outraged and tried with no success to reason with the council.

With most of the Citadel in ruins, only a few establishments remained open. Chora's Den was one of them. It had become even sketchier than before, drawing in more mercs, more slavers and more sluts. Brick didn't usually frequent the bar before Sovereign's attack, but it was the best place to start looking for his new comrades.
Brick took a seat in front of a small stage, which had a pole in its center.

A curvy, scantily clad asari watched from across the bar as Brick took a seat. She smiled wickedly into her glass of purple wine and sipped.
She placed her glass down at the bar and sauntered over to the stage that Brick was sitting in front of.
"Hi~" She greeted, grabbing the pole in her left hand and leaning forward. "I'm Artois. Care for a dance? I'm very good."

Brick suppressed a chuckle.
"Artois?"
He looked her up and down, his gaze lingering on her cleavage.
"Not right now... but maybe you could help me with something else?"

Artois stepped down off the stage and sat on Coors' lap.
"If you're looking for guns, you've come to the right place to find some." she wrapped her arms around his shoulders.
"However... this plan of yours," she whispered in his ear. "I'm going to need more information than that."

"Enough to know that they exist and that the council's a bunch of useless fools."

He ran one of his hands up and down her back lightly.
"My team will focus on figuring out where they are and more importantly, how to kill them."
Coors smirked.
"So... know anyone who'd be interested in joining my team?"

She pressed herself into his touch.
"I... think I may be able to assist you. Tell me... have you ever encountered an asari commando?"

He held out his hand to her.
