The aura was moving, fast, towards Hopeite's scream. So this one was new and stupid. All the better for Hopeite. Maybe this would be a good cure for her boredom. At least for a little while.
She tripped, ripping her stockings open on the uneven ground. She ditched one of her gloves and mussed her hair bow. By the time Hopeite reached the other knight, she may very well have been given a good working over by whatever it was she was running from. She ran past the order, clipped her her shoulder against the girl's sending her toppling into the dirt again. That one hadn't been planned, but Hopeite was adaptable and this wasn't something she couldn't roll with. And roll she did, over and over until her bow came entirely out of her hair and what remained of her stocks shredded.
"Don't hurt me," she sobbed, from the ground, holding her mismatched hands up in a sign of surrender. "Please don't hurt me I was just doing what I was told, I..." She stopped the allow a shudder to wrack her body, "I was just doing what I was told, I didn't know I was hurting anybody!"
