Charl felt bad as Carrie hugged her, knowing how enthusiastic she was about them both learning to fly. But as usual, she had no confidence in herself, which was always her downfall.

She lifted her head when she felt her wings being opened up and looked to the other angelic as she smiled warmly at her. When she mentioned going slow and taking it at her own pace, she smiled that the other was considering her feelings, but she was still really unsure. "I... I wouldn't know where to start."

Carrie stepped back, still facing Charl as she brought a paw up to rub her head in thought. From when she started out, it was baby steps, and that meant one simple starting point: flapping.

"We flap! The first thing we learn is how our wings move when they are in motion, so let's start with some varied flapping?" she suggested, giggling shyly as she smiled more broadly at the other Audio.

Her wings opened as Carrie stepped back, tilting her head some. When she mentioned flapping, she looked to her wings. That's one thing she hasn't tried before. She could open and close them, wrap them around herself, and even cause them to droop, but flap was the one thing she hasn't tried. "Well... I'll give it a shot." She said softly. With that, she flared her wings out. With a small strained look on her face, she worked on trying to get her wings to flap.
