*~::Atsubetsu Park Stadium::~*[The Third Holy Grail War]A wide soccer pitch surrounded by a track with a considerable if not massive stadium capacity; this location serves as the occasional home of J-League Japanese Football matches for the Consadole Sapporo J-League Club. Since the city fell under the influence of darkness, games taking place in the location are rare, but every night he stadium's lights come on to illuminate the entire area in and around the stadium.
It has been discovered that one of the Major Mana Lay-Lines of Sapporo is located beneath this Stadium! If a Master and Servant were to set up a base here, it may yield significant benefits...

Titus MartilloTitus quietly pulled a cap lower over his face as he walked through the stadium, setting up the things he'd need to tap into the energy of the land. Fortunately, he was something of an old hand at this - it worked very similarly to the principles of alchemy that he'd been studying for literally hundreds of years, and a source of extra power would be quite helpful for feeding his servant with the Energy it needed to fight properly. Especially after that last bit... urgh. Nasty, that. Were all masters dealing with something like that? Quote: Titus has claimed the Ley Line in this area...

Sieg Shimazu "It seems you're unlucky to have met me." For a while after Titus arrived at the stadium, he'd been watched. Not the entire time of course; Sieg had shown up a minute or two behind him. But seeing the stranger move about a nearly empty stadium, he'd chosen to acquaint himself with the announcer's booth on top and as Titus moved about, he watched with interest. When he finally came to place one at the top, and opened the door...then he'd spoken. And so his ritual wasn't complete, but he'd certainly made some progress. "Or are you lucky...to be granted a swift death?" Sieg raised his hand as if preparing to strike Titus down before his senses were sharp enough to react, that split second in which he'd allowed the Immortal to come to him the perfect opportunity to act...but instead he smirked, turning his hand so the palm faced upwards, before curling his fingers into a fist.
"It sounds a bit trite, don't you think? To be honest I've already dealt with one Master today, so if I can help it, I'd prefer I don't battle another. If you leave this place to me, then I will turn my back and ignore our encounter. I merely need this Lay-Line to restore my Servant's power...that, I'm sure you can understand." If he was talking down to Titus, it was only because he'd gotten the drop on the other person, and because he was already in a rather foul mood. Truthfully he didn't want to cause harm to the other Masters in the war if he could help it, but the Grail was essential to him, so there was no choice but to fight. But to avoid fighting those with equally good intentions, or avoiding killing Masters...he preferred these options where he could take them. The people from the Mori were not to be trusted, but this man was not Kei Munakata, the deviant from the Human Weapons Division. If he could get this man to leave, and restore his Servant's power with the Lay-Line...he would make sure to finish the job next time.

Titus Martillo"Limited resources do tend to be fought over." Titus agreed, smiling beneath his cap. "Of course, it works a lot better if people are willing to cooperate when relaxing and face each other properly... even when there's a great prize on the line, it may not be worth it if you have to toss aside everything that makes you a person." His Servant waited nearby, ready to materialize at the first sign of danger. "Unfortunately, I also need to make use of the overall power here, and while I'd also prefer to avoid fighting... I'm afraid I'll have to insist. Still, I will let you make use of its facilities if you help to protect it against others and don't bother me." A fairly generous offer, as they went... two Servants working together could be far more potent than one acting alone, regardless of their individual powers.

Sieg Shimazu "If you insist on fighting, I won't stop you further. But I'm afraid I must use everything in my power to acquire the Grail." Sieg raised his hand again and a wind blew in from nowhere within the room, his Servant materializing behind him. He could strike right now and start the battle, but when he considered the damage his Lancer had done in the last battle... "Though...now that I've allowed you to make your preparations, one would need only to finish the ritual you began to draw power from this area. Erasing yours and starting my own would require more effort than I care to put in." Sieg paused again, even knowing that Titus could summon his Servant at any moment to push the situation over the edge. He made no misguiding statements to Titus, he didn't pretend that he didn't want the Grail or that if they worked together he might settle for less. But if Titus could understand that...he had been the one to mention acting with some sense of decorum.
"How about this? I allow you to finish the ritual, and in return you and I will be partners, for whatever brief period of time. I need the energy from this Lay-Line as much as you, so rather than fighting over it, we'll share whatever can be gained. And if anyone else comes looking, I'll make sure that my Lancer intercepts them. We both gain the benefits from this powerful intersection of the city, and I don't have to stain my blade with your blood. It should be a sufficient arrangement, considering..." Sieg glanced at Titus' state, and beneath his outer frown he resisted the urge to smirk. It was clear that he had encountered another Master who had used a fair portion of his power today, and that meant that attempting to battle Sieg would only further deteriorate his condition. Sieg had allowed Lancer to battle as well, but his Servant had absorbed very little energy from him for a Heroic Spirit, and that meant that he was in a much better condition if it came to blows. Compared to that, a mutual arrangement between the two seemed much better; one in which he recovered the power he needed, and Titus was shielded from any pursuers from his previous battle until he'd recovered for the time being.

Sieg Shimazu With the rise of the morning sun, it became clear that his Servant was feeling a lot better than he had the previous day. Now that they'd gathered energy from the Ley-Line, he could put that power to use taking out the other Servants, and that meant that staying here would no longer be useful towards his ends. "It seems the time to move has come again. I should apologize Titus, after all, it's not that I don't trust you. It's just that the wisest course of action...is to leave nothing behind for our enemies to take when we're gone." Sieg motioned to his Servant, and the two headed for one of the exit tunnels in order to leave the Stadium. As they entered the dark area of concessions and nachos, oh holy place that it was, his Servant extended his hand and began dragging his finger along the sides of the wall. In a moment fire began to spring to life, a power of the Servant that began to spread across the Stadium with overwhelming swiftness. It wasn't going to destroy the Ley-Line directly, but if this area was destroyed then it would be difficult for anyone to set up a base here, or even enter the area unnoticed. It was also possible that it would corrupt the magic and shut the Ley-Line down entirely, but...well, that wasn't exactly his expertise, so he couldn't say it would transpire for sure.
But at least, he and Titus had taken what they needed from the area for the time being. It was Fabian who said, after all, that it was better to dissolve your resources to nothing rather than allow the enemy to take them for themselves. Quote: Lancer has set fire to the Stadium with a Rune!

Titus MartilloThank goodness for a history of learning to not trust other people. Titus had made himself fairly scarce after the initial agreement to share the area, ready to leave at a moment's notice. It was kind of a habit, actually. So many years as a gangster had made him cautious, despite the immortality he usually had. Even immortality couldn't help you much if all your limbs were pinned and you were buried, for example. A fact far too many of his companions had forgotten, but he'd had a lot of time to think while pondering ways to get rid of himself. As the flames enveloped the area and he slipped out before they reached him, he quietly thanked his... well... former companion. This would make things MUCH easier.
