Rosie shifted in her seat a bit as she thought on what Edmond had said. "I think that's what mommy wants to do. She found out that some of my duplicates were being experimented on because my powers makes it easier to make perfect clones. She didn't like that. She wants to get me all gathered back up." She wasn't sure how gossamer was going to go about that. Likely just go in and destroy anything and anyone that wasn't a duplicate. Seemed more like something Gossamer would do.

"If I do my job your mother will find that is a much easier task." The Count didn't elaborate. He had been to the place they were speaking of and he knew what extra measures had to be taken to navigate it the next time. For example he needed arrows that could get through steel armor and he needed arrows made of sharp enough plastic so that the octopus man couldn't use his arrows against him. He had planned countermeasures for what he had fought. Gossamer likely hadn't been to the lab before so she wold be going in blind if she found it before he returned.

Rosie looked up at Edmond for a moment, then smiled lightly. "Thank you." she said gently. Even if he hadn't intended to do any of this, it was nice to know that he was. She felt better knowing that he intended to help at least. Then she thought for a moment, and glanced back over at the TV. She wanted to ask if there was anything he wanted to watch, but he'd probably say no. He was busy and had a lot to do still. He was... waiting on something. "Are you... waiting for something on your computer?" she asked, looking back at him. "You can help yourself to something to eat or drink if you are. Mommy keeps the kitchen stocked."

Edmond nodded to Rosie when she thanked him and when she asked if he was waiting for something on his computer he nodded to her again. "I have started a search program that is working to find your mother's location using the various methods I would normally employ. When it has a result I will be able to go. " Edmond paused for a moment before leaning back in his chair and responding to her offer. "I can't eat or drink without taking off my mask and you are a little young to be trusted with that kind of secret. "

Rosie pursed her lip for a moment at his reply, then seemed to shrug it off. "Fair enough. I'm just not sure what to do right now. We've never had company over before, and I don't figure you want to get into a tv show or anything." she said. He probably wouldn't want to take his mask off with her mother being... who she was. Gossamer hadn't really been a villain lately, but she was still someone who it was probably better didn't know what your face looked like under a mask.

"If it would make you more comfortable I could leave, however I can not guarantee when I will return seeing as the program is not yet done locating your mother." The Count offered as he took and arrow out of his quiver with a normal metal tip and began twirling it in his hand. Something to keep his mind occupied.

"Oh, no. I don't want to kick you out if you still have to wait on that. I'm just... not sure what to do." the little one replied. Absently, she began flipping through the channels again. Not looking for anything in particular to watch until she came across some cartoons. One of those goofy ones with oddly mixed up characters and media styles. A blue cat and goldfish with legs going to school or something.

"I can find ways to occupy myself elsewhere if it would lessen the awkward silence we are sitting in." The Count added to what he had offered as he poked the tip of the arrow he was fiddling with. After a short while he put the arrow back and took out the knife he had sheathed on the side of his quiver, next to the pocket for his phone. He then began fiddling with the knife, knowing that once Carla was done he would not need it anymore.

Rosie shifted in her seat and frowned in thought. "Are you... sure you'd be okay with that? I'm not sure what to do other than try to watch tv..." she said, then shifted a bit again and looked up at him. "... I just don't want to seem rude or anything." she added. It was a lot nicer in here compared to being out on the streets. But... she didn't want to keep him here or make him feel like he had to stay here with her if he wanted to go back out.

"Your still young, it's okay for people your age to be rude." The Count said as he sheathed the knife and stood up. "Besides there is plenty to do in Gotham at night." Edmond continued as he made his way to the door he stopped at the door and looked at Rosie. "But if there is any magical security I should be worried about on my way out please tell me now."

Rosie shook her head. "No, Momma only made it hard for people to get in or even know that you could get in." she replied. "You'll be fine to go back out. And... Thank you again." she said gently.

"Alright. Well then I will see you soon Rosie, just don't watch the clock." Edmond didn't acknowledge Rosie thanking him. He had his own reasons for doing what he was doing. Besides at least now he could swap out the suit he was wearing. As nice as this one was he had been shot and so it would need repairs before he could be shot in it again. With the parting words spoken the Count left. He walked up the steps out the door down the hall and back out into Gotham.

Our hero Dark Claw begins his mission to take down the various leaders of the Jokerz. His first targets is the Ally Catz of Crime Ally
*A motorcycle is see making a b-line to a building at crime ally, 2 jokerz see this and open fire on the rider*
*Suddenly in one motion the armored motorcycle jumps up on the curve and his propelled in to the air due its hydraulics*
*The Armored Motocycle falls in front of the 2 jokerz while Dark Claw lands behind them and reloads his hand gun*
* Blood gushes out of necks of the 2 Jokerz*
Dark Claw: this is going to be easy * uses his blade to cut through the door and kicks it in half*
*Inside, Dark Claw is met with a barrage of gun fire, but he anticipated this and threw 4 grenades at the Jokerz*
*With them all dead, he makes his way though the abandoned ally building cutting down any and all jokerz in his way with his falcon blade utill he arives out side again*
Whisper Voices: Catz.... Catz... Catz...Catz... Catz... Catz
*Now behind the abandoned Monarch theater, a figure steps out from the shadows and lunges at Dark Claw*
*Nearly Cought off guard and with a scratch on his face , Dark Claw regains his composure and reaches for his magnum. However its not there, its currently in the hands of the Leader of the Jokerz Ally Catz, Shadow Tiger*
Shadow Tiger*Very Flamboient* : MEOW.... Well Well, What do we have hear. The dark beef cake him self decided to pay little old me a visit..... I was always expecting the Batz to make their move.
*More Cat dressed Jokerz show up*
Shadow Tiger: Tell me, Dark Claw *Licks lips* Do you know what Paradise is?
Dark Claw:.... its where we all go, when out bodies finally give up on us...
Shadow Tiger: indeed... so how about i help you find your land of milk and honey?..... Boys... tear him apart
Catz Jokerz*While attacking Dark Claw at all angles*: Catz...Catz... were the catz.... we pray at night, we stalk at night were the catz
*Dark Claw dose his best to take out as many as he can while they sing their musical number*
Shadow: Tiger: Im the lead cat who makes all of the rules, *Balancing on a power line like its a tightrope*
Dark Claw: what the hell is wrong is wrong with these people! *Kill more then Grapple hooks to the building where Shadow Tiger leap to*
*the 2 face each other down on the roof, the moon is high and full*
Shadow Tiger*playing with his tail*: Roew, simply impressive i hope you liked our little song,Dark Cakes... but i cant let them have all the fun * Pops claws out of his gloves* So How about you and i... *Strikes a flamboyant pose* tango under the mid night moon light...or am i going to have to make you screech, my little bat boy.

PLATINUM AGE COMICS PRESENTS!!Dark Claw, The Brutal Knight! issue# 5$2.99 us We return to our brutal hero, Dark Claw, fighting his way though hoards of cat themed joker imposters, to get to their leader Shadow Tiger! on the roof top of Gotham
* Dark Claw continues to dispatch any and all forces that get in his way. Looking around it appears he has lost track of Shadow Tiger*
Dark Claw: damnit, where'd he go?
Shadow Tiger * creeping up behind him*: right behind you... big bat
* Turing around suddently Dark Claw is caught off guard by Shadow Tiger's attack*
Dark Claw: thats it, no more hide and seek! we end this now * takes a swordsman stance with his falcon blade*
Shadow Tiger: hmmm hmm hmmm very well then * pops some sharp claws out of his gloves*
* The two stare each other down, as the both move towards one another at the same time. The two combatians seemed evenly matched. Shadow Tiger has speed and precision, but Dark Claw has brutality and resourcefulness.*
* Shadow Tiger then comes in with a multi scratch combo, nearly tearing through Dark Claw's armor and drawing blood*
Shadow Tiger*Licking the blood on his claws*: mmmmmmmmm so fiesty, adimantium alloy claws, you like? i do, because they match my eyes. hahahahahaha
*Dark Claw just lets out a grunt, as they continue their battle. As Shadow Tiger gose in for another lethal strike, Dark Claw parries and seems to cut Shadow Cat across his left cheek and severs his fake tail*
Shadow Tiger: GASP how dare you!? i cant believe * Interupted by Dark Claw*
*Dark Claw tackles Shadow tiger to the ground, the precedes to pound on his face with his fists*
Shadow Tiger: GEH , a little help here!
Dark Claw*between punches*: there is no one else to help you, its just you and me
Shadow Tiger: oh dont worry, i called a friend, so we can make this a three way mmmmmmmmmmm
* Before Dark Claw had a chance to react, he feels a cold sharping slash on his back, getting up suddently he notices a man in a suit with sharp long blades for claws*
Blitz Jaguar :..........
* Shadow Tiger then leaps up and to the side of his second in command*
Shadow Tiger: its about time you....came Blitz Jaguar.
Dark Claw: great now theirs 2 of you, and i though this was enough of a * Feels sick*
*Hears Gotham PD sirens in the distant
Blitz Jaguar: that should be the Neuro Toxin taking effect, you'll be dead with in the hour. For now we must take out leave.... you were quite the dangerous foe... but a fool to come alone... ill make your death quick if you want
* Dark Claw, Barely holding him self up now due to the toxin, throws some smoke bombs down to slip away*
Shadow Cat: oh poo he got away.
Blitz Jaguar: no worries.... the toxin should finish him off... lets move!
* the 2 villeins leave*
*Dark Claw dose his best to stumble out of Crime ally before the police swarms it, then passes out near some dumpsters, due to blood lose and the toxin in his system*
Will this be the end of our Brutal Knight?
