Appearance: Woah, hello big boy! Fully grown this wher will stand 16hh, equalling small bronzes with ease! He is fairly muscular and has excellent conformation, the very picture of good breeding. His hide is notable for being quite ridged and lumpy even by wher standards but it is undeniably healthy and, he thinks, extremely handsome.
Personality: This wher's personality packs a punch; never doubtful, seldom fearful and almost never observant of anything approaching decorum. He has a zest for life that doesn't always take into account little things like the fact that that thing he wants doesn't belong to him or his handler, or most people not wanting a large wher tackling them to play and show just how strong and tough he is.
Not understanding the complexities of his handler's world doesn't stop him from giving them his full support and encouragement. You want the thing? Take the thing! Or he will take it for you, look, it was no trouble getting it off that female human! He will also help you show off to the human you want to mate with! He is the best wher, so his human and they must have the best of all the things. He does understand that sometimes they must work hard however, just to show everyone they are best, and is more than willing to slog away at a task or to run his heart out in pursuit of a criminal if called upon.
This brown is in danger of being uncontrollable in the hands of a shy person and even somebody with a will of iron will have trouble with persuading him that they have better more fun ideas than he does and getting him to listen. No matter how old he gets and no matter how experienced and skilled his handler there will always be moments when he just plain will not listen because he is convinced that he knows best. Dominant female whers, green or gold, will have a much easier time of pulling him into line than any human but probably only because he thinks bowing to their whims will improve his chances of being chosen as a mate!
Notably this boisterous fellow will always be a very early riser, often up and about and wanting to be doing things before the sun has even set! If he is out during the last few hours of daylight he will cope either by closing two of his three sets of eyelids and dealing with minimal vision, or navigating using his handler's weird weird eyesight. He'll never understand his human's vision well enough to use their sight as a between point but he will learn to function pretty well using it which is more than a lot of whers can do.
