Kargoth-Rotar Here is the large town founded by the Orcs of Dorotar Isle that left many, many years ago and never returned. After having some years living in Krahnport with the Aether, they chose to move further into the wilderness with the help of the Aether to fend off the Verdant and clear some land to call their own. In common tongue, the literal meaning of Kargoth-Rotar is 'New Dorotar'. Near the hills of the south and the sea to the east, they have all that they need, high ground, low ground, and sustenance. The homes and other buildings here are all on a drier clearing of the plains around them, they are made of solid stone with large timber at corners and making pointed roofs, making the most use out of the forests nearby. A trading caravan often comes here after visiting Krahnport to trade goods and offensive/defensive weaponry against the Verdant.

LUCAS ◆ PUREѴELION First in battle last in retreat. See his power... Brighten the sky...☯ For Team Elixir and company a lot has changed. Ruby, once Euphemia, was one of the team, and a few days have passed, allowing for everyone to catch up as much as they can. But it was not long until Lucas Purevelion was asked to visit the Orcish city of Kargoth-Rotar in the southern realm of the Dun Hills. Latino, Alexis, Ruby, Claudia and Nyru set off to follow Laxion as the other teachers kept control of the base in Evermoon City with the Star Elves. Aboard the Lightcleaver it only took a full day and night's journey to arrive. The Dun Hills. A dry and barren realm of golden flats, hills too dry to bare most vegetation but just about alive enough to harbour golden flecks of grass, strong, hardy trees with moist trunks and giant fruit that hung for days until somebody could knock them off. But the orcs had learned to live in this environment easily. The hard wood was perfect for making their city (arguably the smallest of the cities in Otherearth) and they drank purified water from the eastern sea. The city is named after their original home-island, Dorotar, KArgoth-Rotar translates to new Dorotar in the Orcish tongue. The Lightcleaver docked up by a tall tower made from strong rope, tanned leather and stone walls, as well as gigantic curved bones, quite possible from the ribs or tusks of one gigantic mammals. The Lightcleaver would stay floating here as Lucas was greeted by a tall and proud orc of red-dirt coloured skin. It was a woman, who, though still quite muscular, still had several feminine traits about her figure. From her mouth came a pair of fangs that petruded from her bottom jaw and upwards a few inches. "Welcome to Kargoth-Rotar" she said with a rough voice. Everyone unloaded, the top of the tower was just covered by a canopy of leather and bone, but there were no walls stoping anyone from jumping down. From here the city could be seen. It was on a hill that just about looked over the surrounding area, the buildings were usually one or two stories high and oval or square, made from large chunks of grey stone, presumably carried here after being chiseled away from greater boulders nearby. Timber held up al the corners and roofs made of leather and sometimes giant leaves or stone. There was another tower or two like this one within the city, presumably for defence and lookout. Many torn flags of red hung and adorned some important buildings, like the large circular one in the centre of the city, which had pathways lined with bleached wood moving around the sides of it. There was a large open space there where it looked as though fires had been lit in the past, judging by the black charred earth. Lucas saw it and knew instantly that was where the Chieftain would be. This place looked like a tight community and from what Lucas knew of the orcs in Occulas they would all respect each other like family, as brothers and sisters of the same blood no matter what. The warm heat still took some time getting used to, Evermoon City was more like Nyru's homeland of cool during the summer. But here it was almost blistering. Luckily his black armour was about to deflect a surprising amount heat. Latino meanwhile could be seen swirling his finger occasionally as to control the air around him to spiral lightly brushing his face with cool air. The orc woman looked over the edge and pointed at the building, "Chief Sha'mor waits for you in Mother's Rest." Lucas nodded, "Right away." They were down and out of the tower in just a few minutes, a spiral staircase of planks lead them down. Orcs were all at work within the city, moving massive workloads across buildings even some children of green, red, orange or even paler green-yellow played or patented to help the other orcs. There were some orcs massive and bulky, others smaller yet still muscular. Those that looked less able to carry huge loads often wore robes of leather and furs and help staffs, carrying satchels of some kind of substances with them. The bigger orcs carried large weapons and equipment, also adorned with furs or sometimes some plate metal. As outsiders, they were not given any glances, the orcs of Kargoth-Rotar did not care for visitors, they were very welcoming people and continued with their more important tasks. Inside Mother's Rest, the large circular building, the chief, Sha'mor, stood waiting for them before a throne just from him. Without windows the room was lit only by braziers, and the stone floor was covered in fur carpets. Around the outsider walls were large pieces of parchment with maps and plans and some tables. It seemed other notable orcs resided here, even a star elf stood among them, reading through books too large to be of elven origin. At Sha'mor's side were two large orcs in plate armour with huge axes in their hands. Sha'mor himself was a mixture of huge and small. He had long brown hair that was brushed back and decorated with twine and beads, some spilled over his shoulders too. His skin was green, and his eyes were the brightest blue. He wore plate and leather, with a waist-piece that stretched further down the further back it got, meeting in a point behind his knees. He carried a long weapon in his hand, like a staff tipped with a blade, but the blade was curved and held within it an overturning flame that floating delicately inside the circular gap. At the bottom, the staff seemed to be missing it's rod for a few inches, instead lightning arced in the space before touching the floor, where a pieces of intricately carved metal finished the weapon and prepared it for striking the ground. Latino almost whistled, the weapon was impressive and infused with elemental attributes. "Durok Ka'malor" Lucas said, punching his fist into his other palm int expect to the Chief. Sha'mor smiled and aired his huge teeth and long beaded beard. "Knowledgable in our tongue already, Mainlanders." Sha'mor began, Lucas smiled back and slowly said "It is my duty in Occulas to be sociable with all people, including the orcs of Dorotar Isle and Dragon's Rest" "Your honour gives me strength, Paladin. Welcome to Mother's Rest, the heart of Kargoth-Rotar. Thank you all for coming at such short notice, but I required the help of outsiders with a problem that has been arising in our midst. You all look well equipped with weapons and armour... and I even sense the air within one of you" the Chief's eyes strolled over Laxion. The half-Elemental half-fae nodded. The Chief continued with "Worry not. I am a shaman, we communicate with the spirits of the world, with the breath of the wild and the vibrations of the soil." He then turned to Claudia and Nyru, eyes resting on her as he said "I hear that the Queen Declasia still lives. It is good to hear that your people have recovered from your past curses. I was glad to hear some of your people helped the Therians reclaim their homeland of Southmarch." Long live the Light, May its rays last forever. May its strength, Fail him never.

Ruby
Team Elixer was ready to set sail once again on a new adventure since their last battle to bring Ruby back which succeeded. After they had time to recover, Lucas was summoned to the Orc city of Kargoth-Rotar in the Dun Hills located in the southern realm. Team Elixer along with her sister Claudia and Nyru boarded the Lightcleaver leaving Evermoon City in the care of the academies intructors because the trip would take more than just a few hours.
The Dun Hills consisted of flat barren wastelands devoid of any vegetation other than the occasional patch of dry grass. The trees how were saturated at their trunks and enormous fruit hung from their branches. The Orcs thrived off their environment easily adapting to what it had to offer. They were able to gather hard wood to construct their small city and they were never parched considering the warm weather they endure. The docking station itself was something to behold seeing how it was made with sturdy ropes, tanned leather hung between two stone walls, and the port was secure by the ribs of a gigantic animal, Ruby assumed it was a whale. Once positioned, a woman orc with rustic red skin, and a muscular frame with her assets still prominent, greeted Lucas. A gruff voice escaped her thick jaw with her bottom teeth protruding out a little. "Thank you!" Ruby responded sweetly looking fascinated by the female's appearance. Everyone stepped out and walked along the wooden path with no railing only a leather and bone canopy shadowing them. The tower rested on top of a hill that over looked the city, building were paved in chiseled grey stone, beams of thick wood supported the corners, and the roofs were finished with either leather, tropical leaves, or more stone. Similar to the tower they were in, there were other towers erected in the city for defense purposes. There roofs were decorated with tattered red flags like the circular building in the center of the city with a blackened interior from use of bonfires.
Claudia exhaustively fanned herself from the intense heat because the places where she was usually deployed and even where she lived were cool. Nyru was lucky to be covered in reflective armor from head to toe, it made her jealous that she had to adjust to the heat on her own. Ruby traveled close to Laxion as he conjured up gentle breezes to keep them cool. The orc guide finally pointed out the building where Chief Sha'mor awaits their arrival, and without delay they complied.
Descending down a plank spiral staircase and out the tower into the citizens territory where most orc worked carrying heavy workloads. Children of different but mesmerizing skin colors either played or assisted the adults respectfully. Most of the orcs had a muscular physic and cared loads of weaponry and metal plates for armor. The stout ones wore leathers and furs carrying satchels of small portions such as food or novelties. Ruby wasn't sure if they had visitors frequently, but smiled and waved anyway despite the orcs not noticing.
The Mother's Rest had a dark layout seeing how there were no windows and the room was lit with torches. The stone floor was dressed with fur carpeting and the honorable Chief himself stood in front of his throne patiently expecting them. The walls were lined with maps and blueprints to plans of all sorts. Oddly enough a star elf joined their ranks reading a large textbook that astonished Ruby of course. In front of her Sha'mor stood proud, his skin was a bright green while it eyes contrasted a bright blue. His brown hair was combed and styled with beads and twine while his outfit consisted of a plate backed with leather and a waist piece stretching down and meeting in between his strong legs. He held a long poll in his hands with a curved blade at the tip and in the center gap of the blade was a levitating flame. At the end of the poll a steam of lightning sparked in between the bottom of the poll and metal bit on the other end. Ruby was so impressed that she could stop gasping. Suddenly, Lucas spoke a strange language, the orcs native tongue and pounds his fist against his palm. Ruby childishly copied his movements and imitated Lucas's serious pose. The chief was delighted and even surprised that Lucas was so knowledgeable, and course he remained humble saying that its all part of his job description.
Sha'mor graciously welcomed them all happy that they came to Kargoth-Rotar's aid. He noticed how they were all fully equipped and even favored Laxion's wind abilities. He informed that he's a Shaman, a man that communicated to the spirit world and believes all things have a soul. He was especially infatuated with Claudia and Nyru mentioning their Queen and their battle to help the Therians to reclaim Southmarch. Claudia straightened up trying to fix her fatigued state and replied, "Yes, we do what we can for Queen Declasia." she sounded almost winded as she leaned against Nyru trying not to faint from the heat. Ruby quickly put in her input after Claudia was finished, obviously eager to get moving after being in a hospital bed for so long. "What do you need help with Chief!" She proclaimed hitting her fist against her palm. It was apparent that she stayed clear of his name because it was to hard for her to pronounce.

LUCAS ◆ PUREѴELION First in battle last in retreat. See his power... Brighten the sky...☯
"Good" Sha'mor replied, then looking to the youngest looking of the ground. She asked him what he needed of them, and Sha'mor was more than happy to explain to them. She then immediately copied the greeting, filling Sha'mor with a feeling of respect for the young girl who so happily took up their ways. "Well, friends" Sha'mor began, turning around to stand at the base of the steps leading to his throne. He then turned to face them again and ushered out some fire from his staff, the flames caressed his fingers as it did so and jumped into the space between them. "As Shaman and Chief of Kargoth-Rotar, I foresee possibilities in the fires for my people. We, the Dun Orcs, are the only tribe to exist outside of our homeland on Dorotar Isle. I want the best for my people, and I foresee a danger beyond the horizon." The fire hovered in the air, releasing smoke that condensed and would take shape into visions that Sha'mor wanted to share. First there was a swirling mass, and then there was a horizon, a horde of monsters coming over it. Vardent. Sha'mor's rough and orcish voice continued, explaining what he intends to do, "There are not many things that I believe to be able to stop this from coming - yet there is something that might be able to defend us. Recently, I'm sure that you already be aware the Vardent having become increasingly more difficult for us to deal with in Magic Earth. The elves and the Aether believe this to be the doing of evil demon of lies, that you yourselves defeated." Laxion's eyes narrowed, he scowled remembering the horrors of Lucifial. But Sha'mor shook his head, "I do not believe that is true... My visions have proven true in the past. I had seen the great drought before it could take our crops, I had foreseen and stopped the pillaging of villages. Almost a decade ago, I was able to warn the Therians to the south of a plaque, and thus stopped many from dying. I believe the Vardent are become restless because their makers are coming."
Lucas swallowed, he wasn't enjoying where this idea was going, but it looked as though there was already another great evil on it's way, and yet another great evil not from worlds known to him. This wasn't of the Underworld, or Hell, or even Seraphic in nature. This was unknown. "If this is true, what do you propose, why do you need us?" "You are outsiders, and you are the only ones that might be able to help. To the far east is the tomb of a long dead orc, buried with him is a staff that once controlled the Vardent. We must fight fire with fire, if we have that staff, we may be able to control the Vardent, or better, purge the weapon, purify it and use it to eradicate the Vardent and send their makers running out of fear." Lucas was left deep in thought, until Alexis studied the smoke, seeing the tomb and the resting place of the once menacing orc. "By what you're saying, it gives me reason to believe that your plan is frowned upon by the other leaders." "True, she-mage. The elves of both Evermoon and Sunspire heavily forbid it, and the Aether have long since trusted the elves regardless of their petty arguments against each other. As for the Therians, they also trust in me and my fire. Please, let my ally explain." The smake dissipated and Sha'mor gestured towards the elf with blond hair. The elf then closed his book, turning to reveal his brilliant blue eyes and long ears. There was no mistaking it, he was a Star Elf. "I am Thalasar, a researcher from Evermoon. I have been in the Dun Hills for some time now and I have to admit, Dun Chief Sha'mor hasn't failed his people. My people are less inclined to hep in this kind of quest because of old stories and legends. They have learned to become fearful of cursed weapons. They always compare it to that of a doomed lich. But in my studies no lich from the times of old, since even before Magic Earth existed, ever had any relation to the Vardent. The elves are afraid, and it is holding us back. We cannot afford to lose this chance." "You still haven't said why you need us" Nyru added. Sha'mor replied this time, stating "the leaders of Magic Earth put a seal on the tomb so that no soul may ever touch it. All current leaders must be present to break the spell. I have hoped to the elements that you may have the power to break it. What say you?"
Long live the Light, May its rays last forever. May its strength, Fail him never.

Ruby
Confirming the alliance they made, the chief walked up to his throne and turned back around just a few inches away from it. A flame ejected from his staff and danced along his finger tips until he tossed it in between them. The Shaman explained that he could foresee future possibilities through his fire and being the only surviving tribe outside of the homelands he ensures the best for his people. At this moment he sensed danger on the horizon and the smoke arising from the levitating depicted his words into visions. The swirl smoke shaped itself into a hoard of vicious monsters marching over the horizon. His guff, yet concerned voice admitted that he believed this threat to be unstoppable, however, there is one factor they may defend the orc lands. Vardent activity has become increasingly evident in Magic Earth because of the influential of Lucifial, the same evil that had killed her once before she was resurrected again, but Sha'mor didn't believe Lucifial was behind the cause this time. He insisted that his visions sought the truth seeing how he was able to predict and prevent past disasters such as drought, seizes on the village, and plaques for other races. The real reason why the chief believed the Vardent's violent activity was because of their maker's arrival.
The was an evil Team Elixer wasn't to familiar with and they had no plan of action to address the situation. Eventually, Lucas inquired how they could assist in this fight and his answer was quick simple. Their outsiders and their mission is to retrieve a staff from the tomb of a deceased orc in the east. The staff that is concealed in this tomb possesses that power to control the Vardents, and with it they would battle the monsters on equal footing; or purify and destroy the staff exterminating all the Vardents. Alexis put an immense amount of thought into this procedure while staring at the smoky depiction of the tomb and automatically assumed that the other leaders weren't on board with this idea. Both elven sides forbid this journey and the Aether were agreeing with the elves despite their many altercations. The only alliance that seemed to be for this mission was the Therians but their acceptance alone wasn't enough. Dissipating the smoke, Sha'mor allowed the Star Elf to divluge more into this conversation to which the elf closed his book and informed them confidently. Thalasar is a researcher from Evermoon but has resides in this area for some time vouching Sha'mor miracles. His people refused to help do to superstition of old stories and legends over a lich , but he didn't believe a lich was related to this situation and actions must be made regardless.
This information was fine, but as Nyru pointed out why was their presence important or even reliable. Apparently, the seal on the tomb is impenetrable unless all the leaders are present. Since they won't aid, maybe Team Exiler's powers to break the seal. Ruby felt a desperate urge to help this nation since most other fractions have turned them down. She stepped forward and turned to Lucas before looking at everyone else. "They need us. I don't think we have anything to lose so we can give it a try, right?" She hoped they wouldn't be as ignorant towards these people and do all they can to bring peace to the Orcs once more.

LUCAS ◆ PUREѴELION First in battle last in retreat. See his power... Brighten the sky...☯
Lucas was faced with an important decision as Ruby turned to him, she agreed that these people needed their help and without it they may be their own downfall for not acting sooner. Lucas' seraphic hair fluttered as a breeze seemed to go by them, one that moved just as Sha'mor breathed. Magic here... it was so concentrated, so much more so than in Occulas. In Occulas magic was refined, here it was raw, just how it used to be millennia ago. Lucas turned to face the rest of Team Elixer and their extended members. "You're all equal to me now. What do you think?" he asked as honestly as he could, the rest of Team Elixer, even Ruby, was wise enough to make decisions that he normally would. Alexis was high in Entei and Laxion was high up now in Asmodius too. Nyru, Claudia and Ruby had experienced just as much as the rest of them. He let them decide now, not him. Alexis swallowed, crossing her arms and tapping her finger against her ribs as she thought about the possible outcomes. This was not something she could fix by just tearing open the fabric of time. She sighed, "this is a quest for something that could make someone very powerful... for us... or the Vardent." She looked into Sha'mor's brilliant blue eyes, so rare for the orcs, and swallowed again. "I think we should go. The Vardent must be stopped, whatever the cost." "We have seen sacrifice before" Nyru said, looking down to Claudia at his side and giving a small smile, "and it worked in Declasia's favour. I agree." "As do I" Laxion added, smiling to Nyru, and then passing a glance at Alexis and Ruby. Soon after Claudia agreed too, and so Sha'mor smile, baring his great tusk-like teeth. Thalasar, the Star Elf, spoke first. "You will see it in the stars when you finish this, the night will sing for ages to come. Even now, some of them glimmer purple, an i'll omen that shouts to us yet by people see them as only dark stars, an echo of the deepest recesses of the Starwell from our oldest memories." "I sincerely hope that you are right, Thalasar, for all our kingdoms to live peacefully and with justice." "We must begin quickly" Sha'mor said, turning around and heading towards his throne, between two lit tall-standing torches. "If you are ready, my Wolf Riders can get you across the Dun Hills and on your way towards the tomb. Speak with Ar'shal, She'll be at the eastern gates."
Sha'mor sat on his throne now, staff held in one hand and firmly standing on the dusty set beside him. Thalasar nodded to the team, a common gesture of welcome, forgiveness, acceptance or goodbye in Elven culture. "Be careful on your journey east" Thalasar then said, walking with them towards the outside of Mother's Rest. As the scorching heat of the sun pushed down on them on the dry plains Thalasar continued, "there are a great many evils and creatures in the wilds of Otherearth. I'm sure you are familiar with such obstacles in Occulas, but remember this place is much different and far less governed. You might also discover rogue elves..." Thalasar seemed to blink slowly, momentarily cutting of the blue glow of his eyes. When they opened they rested upon Lucas as he said "you would do best to avoid them entirely - they're a waste of time."
Long live the Light, May its rays last forever. May its strength, Fail him never.

Ruby
Lucas appeared as though he couldn't refuse a heroic cry from Ruby and turned to consult with the rest of their team. As equals to their mentor, they were all allow to make individual decisions that would eventually lump together into a collective one. Alexis had achieved a higher status in Entei along with Laxion stationed on Asmodius. Claudia and Nyru had advanced with their ranks in the Queen's court, but Ruby felt a little left behind. If she had lived through the fight with Lucifial maybe she would have been bequeathed an outstanding position like the rest of them. Alexis swallowed harshly and began debating with herself about the outcome of the situation, although Ruby already knew her choice. Like she stated, this was a quest for power that could either result in their victory or the Vardent's rule. Alexis ultimately agreed and Nyru followed suit along with Claudia shortly after. Finally Laxion and Ruby both gave their consent causing Sha' mor to smile brightly through his tusked teeth. The Star Elf, Talasar hinted at their journey and where to begin which the Chief hoped his predictions were correct for their kingdoms prosperity. With that Sha' mor ascended the throne and told them to seek out Ar'shal at the eastern gate to lead them across the dunes.
Sha'mor took his place back on the throne proudly while Thalasar wished them a safe journey in Elven culture. Leading them out of the Mother's Rest and into the cooling afternoon heat, he reminded them of Otherearth's dangers and how their are different from Occulas. Lastly, he warned them of the rouge elves in order to make their trip smoother which he specifically pointed out to Lucas. Ruby nodded and chimed in, "Will do!"
