And that’s what they call the law of Karma, my friends. PERSONALITY:
Abiel is a calm sort, trying to always keep himself in check. He is incredibly pious, and has a high love of his lord. Beneath that cool demeanor is warm fatherly man, who wishes to guide the good and just to a better day. He doesn’t tend to loosen up much, but he is young and has his moments of boisterous ego, and anger.
When he is not active, he tends to be more relaxed, if no less reserved. He is a Holy Man, but he is no priest, and believes that god’s love is bestowed upon all of his children to share. He hold no prejudices, and more interestingly doesn’t judge blindly. Hearsay has no weight on his shoulders, but once his opinion is made up, it is hard to change it.

MY HISTORY: Abiel's life has been one of traveling, and journeys. Though he was born in America, he was on the road in europe and many other countries before he could even walk. Following his father around the world, he would occasionally spend a few months with his mother back in Germany, but he had a wanderlust, and was happy to follow his father on his travels. It wasn't until he was eleven he learned what his father had been grooming him for, and he took to the arts with a passion that made his father proud.
Abiel's time under his father was long, though he learned much it kept him from truly proving himself as an individual. It wasn't until he was seventeen the opportunity arose. His father failed, and nearly died, but Abiel's faith and strength pulled them through it. Though his father was forced to retire due to his injuries, Abiel continued on without him. Finally able to stretch his wings he quickly passed his peers by. Still he knew he needed to learn more, and thus disappeared for two years.
He never speaks about what happened during that time, but he returned a different young man. Calm, cool, and with a weapon that screamed of being otherworldly, he merely remained as he was. His absence had slowed his advancement, but he seemed bothered by the development, merely taking up the chance to teach others, and spread the skills he'd learned.
RELATIVES:
Father: Derick Gottschalk- A former Upper 2nd class exorcist, forced to retire early due to injury. On good terms with Abiel.
Mother: Sarah Gottschalk- an instructor at a local college near Abiel's family home. On cool terms with Abiel due to his change during his disappearance.
Younger Sister: Molly Gottschalk- Twelve years old. Unknowing of Abiel's work, and her father's old work. Barely knows her older brother.
MY GOALS: Abiel wishes to rise up in Ranks, until he reaches Arc-Knight. He doesn't desire the position of Paladin, though his reasons are kept to himself. He also wants to teach the next Paladin, as he finds just as much satisfaction in teaching as he does achieving something himself.

EXPERTISE:
Cool Under Pressure: Abiel doesn't panic under nigh-any circumstance he's been placed in, allowing him to have incredible clarity even in incredibly hectic environments, and doesn't give much in the way of expression when he's stoic. As a side benefit he can foil lie detectors very effectively.
Freerunner: Abiel has practiced running through cities, and moving with incredible agility his entire life. He is a capable urban warrior, and skilled as moving even through dense areas, and dangerous location with ease.
Cooking: Abiel's ability to cook is something of a mystery as he seems to be able to pick up recipes through eating the food, and cooks amazingly well despite not usually having the time to refine his skills. In another life, he could have been a prodigal master chef, even still outside of the best he is an incredible cook. It has been joked that his meals could subdue a demon on their own. Abiel didn't find it funny.
