On one hand, Strawberry was glad the kiss had happened on Friday. She had the whole weekend to convince herself that it was an accident and she was by no means anything like her mother. On the other hand, she had tortured herself all weekend over it until it became one of those things that "never happened and we won't talk about it". So it was with a cheerful smile that Strawberry slipped into her homeroom class where-just as expected-Danni was there. One would think the blonde would blush and avoid contact. But no. The tea heiress walked right up to the archer, smiled brightly, wished him a good morning and gave him a bro hug.
"How was your weekend?" Strawberry asked, slipping into her seat and turning to face him.

Daniel smiled softly as Strawberry spoke to him. "It was fine... Nothing special. But listen... I wanted to apologize for Friday. That was out of line." He looked away with a small frown, sighing. "Anyways, that said, how was yours? Your weekend I mean."

Strawberry replied as if he never spoke of Friday, her smile never faltering.
"Hmm, well we had a game on Saturday to determine if our team is going to regionals-We are by the way," The blonde said excitedly, her voice verging on a squeal. "I ran a couple hours every morning and we had a dress rehearsal for the play. It opens next Friday and we have a show each day till Sunday. You should come."

Daniel frowned as the woman completely disregarded his apology. 'You ******** up~ You've done screwed yourself...~' "Shut up--," he muttered under his breath, glancing at Strawberry. "Oh! Well that's good. And maybe I'll bring Arianna, though I'm not sure if she'd be interested in that sort of thing.."

"Well, we're doing A Midsummer Nights Dream." Strawberry said thoughtfully. "I'm bringing my youngest sister to it, she likes the fairies. Maybe Arianna will enjoy it too." The blonde smiled, digging through her bag before producing a pair of glittering/glossy tickets.
"My dad can't make it and Mina's the only one out of my siblings interested in going, so I have extra tickets." Small pale fingers wrapped in fresh Batman band aids slid the tickets across Danni's desk.

Daniel smiled softly and took the tickets, pocketing them. "I'll tell Arianna then, and maybe you'll get to meet her. We'll have to see." He smiled softly at her, but his gaze was elsewhere as he fought a silent war, and it didn't seem like he was winning. 'Ehehe... Now what will you do? She won't speak of Friday, and apparently hasn't accepted your apology...' <******** shut up, you pain in my a**," he cussed under his breath, gripping onto his desk to prevent himself from doing any other damage to anyone or anything around him. "Tch.."

A small pale hand reached out and pressed gently against Danni's forehead. He didn't feel warm.
"You feeling okay Danni?" The blonde asked worridly. "You're muttering to yourself." Since she was actively not thinking of Friday Strawberry didn't consider this to be the issue at all. Green eyes traced every inch of his face, worried and hoping to figure out what was wrong.

Daniel blinked, then looked away, frowning. "Yeah, I'm just fine.." He shifted to turn away from her in his desk, placing his hands in his face as he continued to talk to himself. She'd completely forgotten. That was a good thing, he supposed, but it still hurt... 'First crushes always hurt.' He grimaced. Maybe he should keep some distance then. "...I better get to class," he said, not looking at her as he grabbed his things and left, heels clicking quickly against the flooring as he speed-walked away.

Strawberry bit her lips and watched him go. This was her fault. She had purposely ignored all things related to Friday so she wouldn't have to deal with.......things. But it had hurt her friend.
"Danni, wait!" The blonde called, grabbing her stuff and chasing after him. "Please wait, I'm sorry." With surprising strength Strawberry wrapped her small fingers around his wrist to turn him to look at her. "I shouldn't have ignored your apology. I really appreciate it. I just, I like you as a friend, and I'm not saying that it'll always be that way, I-I'm just saying, we just met and I was a little freaked." She rambled. Okay, not the entire truth, but it was most of it.

The taller of the two nodded quietly in understanding, eyes downcast as he avoided eye contact with the shorter blonde in front of him. "I understand. That's what I'd thought, and why I apologized." He gently pulled his wrist out of her grasp, stepping back slightly. "Thank you for acknowledging my apology." He turned once more and began to walk again, albeit at a slower pace than before. However, his eyes were still stinging as he held back a few tears. Had he already screwed up his first friendship? That was debatable. 'You have, and you will do so more, you know this.' "Shut up."

Strawberry watched him turn and her green eyes clouded. She watched him go for a few seconds before huffing and rushing after him. The blonde jogged and planted herself in his path hands on her hips.
"I ignored the subject to avoid this." She stated firmly, waving a hand between them. "I like talking to you and spending time with you; a stupid kiss shouldn't change that." Strawberry snapped, crossing her arms over her chest. "Are you going to let it ruin a perfectly good friendship?"

Daniel paused, frowning as he looked at her. "I wasn't intending to. However, I don't think that there was all there is to the matter.. But you are free to disclose information at your, whatever the word is." His voice wavered slightly, but his gaze was steady as he spoke to her. "I don't mind being friends, but if there is more than one reason behind something that happens, that involves me, I would like to know. Otherwise, just tell me it's personal."
He stepped around her, walked a few steps before stopping again, turning to look at her. "I don't know about you.. But some time, maybe later tomorrow, I'd like to show you some more archery. If you're interested." A pause. "Meet me down in the field after school if you'd like." He smirked, waved, and headed off, turning the corner and heading downstairs. Well. Friendship was saved. Now that left... 'Well then.'
