A temple that is simple in design that's tucked away in the forests of Sapporo. Although it seems unprotected, it is actually surrounded by a powerful barrier.

A witch and her Master reside here for the time being.

It has been discovered that one of the Major Mana Lay-Lines of Sapporo is located beneath this Temple! If a Master and Servant were to set up a base here, it may yield significant benefits...

"How very interesting.." Aoshiki looked at the Sapphire in her hand before looking down at the circle on the ground. The woman placed the gem in its center before reciting an incantation. If all went well then she was supposed to receive a 'Servant' of some kind. She watched as a figure started to form before her but that wasn't the only thing. The Alchemist looked around to see that walls were forming around her, making a building of some kind after the figure fully formed. "What is this..?" "Are you my Master? The one that summoned me?" Aoshiki took a moment to look at her 'Servant', crossing her arms as she did some thinking. "I wouldn't say 'Master'.. I am the one that summoned you but I see this more as a.. Partnership.. You see I am here for a reason but my knowledge on this war is limited. I will need your guidance and skills to survive this. So having you call me 'Master' doesn't seem fitting. What do you say?" The figure listened to the one that summoned them before smiling from under the hood.

".. Then we have an agreement. We shall be partners you and I."

"Perfect."

". . .Ah, here we are. This area is quite remote, but the barrier surrounding this shrine is quite obvious. I wonder what sort of Master is hiding within this temple?"

Darkness swirled behind the Master as the distant sound of a whinnying horse and the cold clomping of hooves came closer, until the creature at last appeared through the black mist. The Master didn't need to turn his head to sense the creature, for it waited only to hear his orders, it's loyalty all but assured as long as he offered it souls for the taking. "Entering a barrier like this undetected is a specialty of the Assassin class. Go, hide yourself away inside and wait for my signal. If she hasn't discovered me already, she'll have no idea what sort of Servant I may have summoned. That should make our negotiations easier." Wei thrust his hand to the side, and the rider disappeared in a black mist as it took spiritual form, hidden from the view of all human beings. Only Servants could sense other Servants when they were dematerialized, but Assassins were particularly good at making sure they weren't sensed even then. As long as he didn't let his killing intent leak out, there was no way that he'd lose the initiative.

A confident grin spread across Wei's face as he took a moment to prepare himself, and then crossed the border of the barrier. This would no doubt mean that they knew he was coming, but it would be more correct to say he was announcing himself to the Master of this out of the way little temple. As an Assassin's master it was wisest to stay out of view, and simply glean the information you needed where you could, but his actions weren't in accordance with that principle. In fact, his intentions included discovering the master, and perhaps enlisting her aid until they'd weakened the number of enemies in the tournament. Barring that however, he wouldn't feel that it was a particularly bad failure if he simply killed the girl (though he knew not that it was a girl yet), and made sure that there would be one less problem for him to deal with later. "I'm addressing the Master of this temple! If you can hear me, come out so we may speak. I have much to discuss with one who seeks the prize of this deadly tournament."

Aoshiki glanced at the only door leading inside the temple, hearing a voice calling out. The woman moved the door just enough to see the person waiting outside before looking back at her Servant. "What do you think, Caster? Is it normal for a Master to go to enemy territory without a Servant?" The Alchemist was well aware Caster understood this war a lot better than she did. So her opinion was vital, especially now when something unexpected happened. Aoshiki was only expecting one person to come to this location and it wasn't this man. "It is indeed unusual.. I will shift the odds in our favor just in case. I would give him a chance to speak but make a suggestion." The two women looked at each other and realized they had the same idea in mind. After the territory was adjusted it was time to see what fate had in store for them.

Aoshiki opened the temple doors and moved to the steps. A purple clad woman stood behind her, her face hidden in the shadow of her hooded garment. "You come here wanting to speak but you don't bring or show your Servant? Makes one think you come with underhanded tactics in mind.. How about we make this fair and then talk?" The raven locked woman suggested, resting a hand on the hilt of her blade. While she would be no match for a Servant, that didn't mean she couldn't go for the other Master.

"You prefer I put all my cards on the table? I came here without my Servant as a showing of good faith, but if you insist I return with my Servant, I'm afraid I will have to come another day. The only way to summon a Servant from so far away is with a Command Seal, and as I'm sure you understand, those are quite precious."

Wei held up his hand, partially wrapped in bandages but with the back still visible, and rubbed the markings that hinted at his existence as a Master. To most it was common sense that a Servant could respond quickly, but not that quickly, and if Aoshiki wanted him to fetch his Servant he would have to leave and come back after a significant amount of time. Or he would, if his Servant wasn't just a bit special in that category. His eyes shifted to the woman beside her master, cloaked in purple robes and hiding her identity. The barrier he passed through he could now discern was hers, and that meant the Servant was a Caster. Her hidden identity was common sense as well, and the Master wouldn't have been put out to hide her own identity, but it seemed that when speaking with Wei should would speak face to face, and that was just as well. "Relax...I'm only here to speak. There are twenty-one Master/Servant pairs in this tournament, and those kinds of odds are quite daunting. In lieu of fighting a series of increasingly difficult battles, wouldn't it perhaps be more sensible to ally where one can, and decrease the foes before both of us? Then, at least the final battle can be an honorable one, fought between two warriors with no hard feelings." It was an especially advantageous proposal for Casters, who needed time to gather power and increase their influence. An early Caster was often a dead Caster, but if she could use others to protect her until the final round came, then her chances of victory would increase significantly. This offer was a dream come true, then...one that any Caster would have sought out for themselves.

So he was claiming that he came alone to speak. Either this man was being truthful or deceptive. Though if his aim was to kill her then it would've happened by now. At least that was what she wanted to believe, though there as no way she was letting her guard down. The Alchemist crossed her arms as she listened to the mysterious man explain his reason for being there. He did make some very good points but that didn't mean he was entirely trustworthy. Before speaking, the Master glanced back at Caster to see if she had anything to say. The hooded woman only looked at Aoshiki and nodded her head. "You make a very valid argument.. A partnership would certainly make things easier for us." The raven haired woman uncrossed her arms to pull out a folded piece of paper out of her pocket. She opened it to show a picture of a man. "My reason for being here is to find this man.. Titus Martillo. If you assist me in killing him or making sure he does not win this war, then you won't have to worry about fighting me in the end. I care not for the Grail if my goal is met during this war. Any information on him will be appreciated as well."

"Oh, that little rat is your reason for entering? In that case, I think something can be arranged. I've more than enough information on him, and I even managed to discover his base of operations yesterday. If you're willing to assist me, then I can help you in whatever way you desire for your...revenge." To say matters had connected in an almost unnaturally fortuitous way wouldn't have been an exaggeration. He had no idea who the Master was coming here, and considering the ego most of the contestants were likely to have, he'd found a battle a far more probable option. But if she was truly obsessed with eliminating one man, then it was unnaturally lucky of him to have encountered that man yesterday. Such a change in circumstances deserved a bit of malleability in his plans. It could only be for the better. "One thing. We can hardly be expected to trust each other without putting our cards on the table. Why don't you have your Servant reveal her identity? We can hardly be expected to turn our full attentions elsewhere when we have no idea what our 'allies' are capable of. In return I'll tell you about mine, and your Servant can later confirm it." Wei smirked. "Plus, I'll offer you a bit of information to sweeten the deal already. The man your hunting is in command of what I assume to be a Berserker. It's quite an advantageous situation for a Caster, or a Saber..." Wei glanced over at the hooded figure, his intuition still keen on the idea that she was probably a Caster. He'd already paired himself with an Archer, which meant that if the woman agreed, they would have quite a formidable trifecta in the works. Enough to eliminate any single target with ease, most likely.

"Don't label my motives with something as petty as revenge.. My reasons behind seeking his death are anything but that. It's simply because he can not be trusted and to hear he is using this war to try and betray our leader.. Such insolence can only be met with death. I care not for his selfish reasons." Aoshiki's words were cold and seemed to drip with venom. She had no personal grudge against Titus but to plot behind the familys back and seek your own personal gain. That made you her problem and she always sought to deal with them personally. Though hearing this stranger had located the mans location and had a good idea on what manner of Servant was under his command. Well, it certainly made her more open to this idea of teaming up. The woman would have to ask Caster what a Berserker was exactly once this meeting was over. A small hint of annoyance flickered across Aoshiki's face when the men started insisting she reveal Caster's identity. "You speak of putting our cards on the table and yet you don't have any on hand.. You have given me some valuable information and I do see great benefits in allying myself with you.. But do not take me for a fool. I will accept your offer of an alliance but you will return here with your Servant and we can reveal their identities at the same time."

"How quaint." The way she denied her personal vendetta against Titus, while he could see the seething flame behind her eyes, was amusing. However he had no intention of antagonizing his new ally if she intended to agree to his terms, and so he kept quiet as she began to refuse his other term even though he'd put a piece of information on the table ahead of time as an offering. "Surely you can see things from my point of view. I'm in your territory, exposing myself without my Servant to assist me. Once I've told you what I know, that puts me at your mercy unless I'm able to retain some measure of security. So you reveal your Servant...and I tell you everything there is to know about Titus in this tournament for now. You don't think his Servant's class is all I know, do you?" His Servant was already trying to hold back it's bloodlust, and if he didn't put a curt ending to things soon, then it would expose itself because her Caster would be able to sense the killing intent it would unleash. It was quite the drawback to his Servant, and one of the numerous reasons he sought to avoid revealing it until the opportune moment.

Wei turned and began moving towards the front of the temple to leave, waving behind him. "Tell you what; I'll return if you reconsider, and my services in eliminating Titus Martillo will be yours. I don't need to know your Servant's name for the time being...but you should know you're not the first person I've approached. Soon, my ally will make his move, and if you haven't chosen your side by then, I'm afraid you may end up as nothing more than a casualty. Even immortals can become victims in this war, after all." Wei paused near the temple front, glancing at the hand he'd waved with. The bandaging was loose, revealing the small pieces of glass intermingled with the cloth that had caused his bleeding. A small trickle of red ran down his wrist, and he drew his hand to his mouth as he licked at the crimson liquid. It was a familiar, copper taste, and one that he happened to enjoy...the scent, the sight, there were so many parts of splattering people's blood that drew Wei towards the path that he had ultimately chosen. Enemy or non-ally, Aoshiki's blood would satisfy him all the same...if she chose to spurn the offer that he'd decided to gift her with at this time. "Yesterday he checked into a room in the downtown area, but I can't tell you how long he'll stay there. If we're not on the same side, I have no reason to seek him out further for the time being...I still have more than a few preparations to make towards my own ends."

Aoshiki stood there, weighing her options. Should she trust this man and have Caster show her face even when he didn't have his Servant on hand? Caster looked at the two and decided to make the choice herself. "Wait! .. We'll accept your deal." She reached up to pull back her hood to show her face. Long purple hair draped down her back and pointed ears peeking out from under it. "My name is Medea.. Tell us the name of your Servant so this deal and alliance will be official." The woman looked over at her Master, waiting to see if she was angry at this course of action. Luckily the Alchemist was not angry in the least. In fact she was happy Medea spoke up to prevent the man from leaving. "And I thank you for the information on Titus.. I'll aid you in your endeavors as well."

Wei glanced over his shoulder and grinned as he spotted the Caster. So, that was his partner...quite a useful one as well. "To think you'd have the sorceress Medea...quite interesting. As promised, I will show you mine; but I'm afraid he has no name to speak of." Wei extended his hand to the side, and a chill wind blew across the temple steps. There was a groan from one of the trees near the entrance to the temple, and then out from the roots burst a man on a horse, burning sword in hand. The horse trod upon the wilting grass as it slowed and approached it's master. With a motion of his hand Wei signaled for the Servant to remove it's hood...showing it's identity to the lady.

"I'll stay here until morning; that way I can repel any unwanted intruders. In the meantime you can gather power in preparation for our enemies, without having to worry about interlopers. I'll have my Servant try to relocate your target for the time being...and anyone else you'd like to call a victim, as well." Wei smirked, leaning against the archway and folding his arms. He didn't tend to get emotional, and his ambivalence made it all the easier to tell what others were thinking. He'd ruffled his partner's feathers, but it was for her own good, even if she didn't know it yet. He still had another card up his sleeve, and his other partner would make his move when the time was right. She was allying with the winning side for the time being, and she didn't even need to know it. Of course, if she knew that he was after the Lay-Line as well, she might be even more hesitant, but he had no intention of stealing it from her now, and he would do his best to prove his sincerity, at least for the time being. "I'll wait here. There's no need for me to come inside and see what machinations you've begun...after all, I'm sure you wish to keep whatever trump cards you have withheld for as long as you can. I'll be leaving in the morning though, to seek out our enemies." Wei glanced upwards at Medea's face. "Tsk, come now my dear, don't tell me you'll miss me. I'm just making sure you don't go checking your closets and under your bed when I'm gone. We're allies now, after all." Normally when he said such things, it caused a bit of resentment, but this time he was being earnest. Friends were a rare commodity, and while he usually had none, it might be a nice change of pace to introduce himself to some...although Wesker always would have frowned upon such things, in his own time.
