ALIAS :
[ Miss ] Born from both realms, it's original source is unknown. Sarcasm from pure-blood and mixed demons in Hell called Joushi 'Miss' as a means of poking play at the half-demon's appearance and his mother's constant cleaning, preening, and teaching of lady-like manners. It was often discussed, loudly so, by the other demons whether or not Joushi's mother even recognised Joushi's real gender. It was little better in the human realm. The older gangsters would call Joushi 'Little Miss', be it from his slighter build than the two daughters of Head Gangster Motisi, with whom he was frequently found with, his feminine complexion, or the clothes his mother would encourage him to wear when she visited or sent him back to Earth. Later in Joushi's life it became his alias as an assassin in the Italian Mafia. It was a mimicry of Joushi's record in never missing his assigned target and his proficiency with most modern projectile weapons.

APPEARANCE: Slender, thin, and of average height, Joushi is commonly mistaken for a female. His soft features, style and colour of hair has made him a target for bullying and mistaken gender. Joushi's hair is dyed pink and cut into blunt angles, reaching no further down than the nape of his neck. He has a full fringe, cut at an angle so as to conceal one eye: his left. Both of the Dragoon's eyes are a dark green, flecked with blue. Despite the build's appearance, Joushi's body is lined with muscle. Pulling his own body weight over obstacles does not tire him, nor does the extra weight of his gun's supplementary equipment. However, physical brawls are not to his body. Being hit hinders him easier than most, and wielding anything heavy is clumsy in his hands. But Joushi is fit, and can run long distances easier than most.

TATTOOS : Adorning the length of Joushi's back, in delicate, intricate weaves of thin, pink lines so light that they're almost unnoticable, is the story of Joushi's life, written in the Demonic language. Every year, around his birthday, new lines are added. So far his story reaches two rib bones underneath his left shoulder blade. It summarises the important and memorable moments of his life, including his first kill. The writing is tiny, almost requiring a magnifying glass, the pale tone and thin weaves making it even harder.
Along the V-lines of Joushi's hips are intricate swirls of matching design, inticing the eye lower with the innocent, yet darkly provacative markings.

Joushi deliberately enrolled himself into enduring methods of torture, raising his tolerance of pain to expert levels. This has fortified his already reinforced mental defence (from working in the mafie) from grotesque images and words. Both Anyanka and his human family employed varying methods of torture (none of which were to leave scars on his body, Anyanka threatened) to increase his pain threshold. As such he was also able to suffer greater amounts of pain in battle without being hindered in his attacks and movements.

Much of the time Joushi is sent on missions for the mafia solo, forcing him to fall onto stealth tactics in order to achieve his goals. Blending into shadows, contorting his body into tight spaces, moving slowly, smoothly, and without sound at all times. He was trained through sheer survival necessity to read the environment and guage its potential for keeping him hidden. This also extended into blending in with crowds, mimicing the people he's with while not drawing attention to his own individual presence.
Part of Joushi's job when he was young was to clean up after the mafia business was dealt with. Training under old hands he learned the different chemicals for different ages of blood, flesh, and other bodily fluids. He also learned the difference between 'clean' and 'sterile', the ways cleaning may cause trouble in of itself when particulars come snooping. Other means of disposal included body parts. Locations of interest, tides of water bodies, connections for specific areas to access or transport vehicles, and how to hide a dead body in plain sight.

Showing emotions was met with physical punsihment, forcing Joushi to learn to conceal and digest his own reactions to what was happening around him. Following from his training in stealth Joushi is not only capable of hiding his emotions with expertise but also able to fake any number of them as well. This also extended into hiding his gender, bending people's perceptions of what his sex or sexuality are by adjusting his body posture and adding accents to his voice.

Loyal to the Motisi family, Joushi speaks softly and respectively, raised in an environment where he has seen rebellion be rewarded with death. His loyalty has also extended into torture training, keeping control over his mind and body to secure the secrets of his family, both the demonic side and the human one. He'll sacrifice his life before revealing harmful information.

Joushi speaks softly and respectively, raised in an environment where he has seen rebellion be rewarded with death. Respect is served in many forms, and holds its own subtleties and unwritten rules. Respect shown for one individual may be considered disrespectful by another. How one greets, holds their body, the way they phrase their sentences. Joushi's time in the streets, exploring the seedier underbelly of Italy, showed him how diverse the methods of showing respect is. As such he deliberately puts himself out amongst these social groups, studying them and learning the finer details.

Anyanka taught Joushi that gentle behaviour was a valued aspect to master, and so, under her strick tutaledge, he did. But growing up with the Boss' daughters has also shaped Joushi's demeanor to be soft and warm; open and caring of the Motisi sisters, this behaviour can also be seen in his treatment of the Byakko he cares for. He feeds it treats, lets it sleep in his bed, and bathes it gently with a warm, wet towel and demonic-friendly soap. Joushi brushes its fur and walks it every day. The Dragoon is similarly friendly with his school mates. His outward appearance of a calm, emotionless being is undermined almost as soon as people start talking to him. When talking, Joushi may give a small, friendly smile. In class he volunteers for such jobs as taking extra supplies to or from the supply cupboard. Despite these traits Joushi is limited on friends. Few people feel comfortable to be around him, somehow feeling unnerved or unsure what to say and how to act. Others outright dislike him, envious of his features and tendency to get the highest grades of the class.
LIKES: Learning, going for a run, looking after the Byakko, listening to classical music.
DISLIKES: The Motisi sisters being harassed or annoyed, germs, ignorance, being.
HOBBIES: Joushi has a fascination with a certain style of art. His clothes and accessories reflect this. He collects art books from various sources, including internationally recognised figures, comic and video game art, and fashion. He also has a few original works in his room in Italy. However, Joushi isn't particularly gifted with making anything artistic himself.

MY HISTORY: I was born to a Demoness and the bodyguard to perhaps the greatest Mafia Boss in modern human history. Mother has installed the guides of grace and beauty into my very being, accepting nothing less from her Joushi. My name, my entire existance, is modelled on the Japanese concept of 'cuteness.' Acting is not acceptable. I am the epitome of the fashion, the style, the way of life. But Anyanka is not without humour. My name is Joushi, and it translates to "double love suicide". Two people committing suicide out of love - it was meant as some joke of her relationship with my father.
My father works for Boss Motisi. I've heard Boss call my father "a good man; steady handed and quiet." My father would almost be considered a friend by Boss Motisi, trusted enough to look after Boss' daughters in taking them to and from school - escorting them from Japan back to Italy. Boss has even sent me to school with them. I sometimes wonder if he's grooming me for something. Mother already has. Other times I muse on the thought that maybe Boss Motisi was trying to make it up to my father. I can't read Boss like I can read other people.
Boss Motisi has raised me like a son. Treating me with the best possessions he can get me - he's treated me as well as his two daughters. He hugs me, congratulates me on my grades, encourages me to do well. But he's taken me to places where he'd never take his daughters. I've seen men and demon die, men and demon fight and rip. Boss says things like "this is what happens to traitors. This is what we do to runaways." But he is never looking at me when says these things. Sometimes Father is brought along as well, but he's just as cold as the other men when working.
Boss' daughters aren't spoiled. We all do some minor chores around the suite, and we have to keep are rooms clean and tidy. They also know how to use knives and guns. Boss is practical. He knows that people will try to use his daughters against him. Boss Motisi has told them that, when he marries them off, he wants his daughters to take control. He's teaching them how to blackmail, to be quiet, how to recognise and steal things that would help them. They're not for sex, he says, they're for taking control. I wonder which part of Boss Motisi is the act; is he really a loving, caring father figure? Or is he truly a power-hungry killer? Watching Boss Motisi is like watching two different men live the same life at the same time.
Attending True Cross I've come across and made a pact with a Byakko. It sleeps in my bed and likes to eat dairy products. But it's young, so it mainly drinks milk. I don't know if the milk humans drink is good for it, but it likes it, and the Shrine Priestess it used to live with didn't say it would hurt it. It likes cherry flavoured milk the best. When I'm out with Boss Motisi's daughters, he takes on the form of a Finnish Spitz, and it gets spoiled with treats and meat. It doesn't eat dairy products all the time. It's only every second day or so that it begs for some. I think it goes out to hunt during the night, catching mice and small birds mainly.
I'm also part of the school's track and soccer teams. I'm a long distance runner and an attacker, respectively. When I don't have school, and am back in Italy with Boss Motisi, I go out running every late afternoon, before the sun sets, because I don't always have anything to do. I don't escort the Boss' daughters, and I don't have classes. In the Boss' suite I do minor chores, but I get a little stir crazy easily. Sometimes Boss Motisi will take me with him, late at night, to show me his world. The world in which I learned how to use a gun and not to flinch at blood, or screams, or gun fire. Or dead things. Sometimes Boss Motisi is really mean, and tortures people. I think to myself; 'am I supposed to be remembering this? Is this what I'm going to graduate into? The Punisher, or the Punishee?' Sometimes Boss makes me kill things.
When I turned seventeen Boss gave me three things; money, a painting, and a name. The name he gave me after Boss' daughters went to bed. We were sitting at the dinning room table and he said it in a voice that made me think, without knowing what was going to happen, 'that man is dead'. "Georgiano Firenzo," said Boss Motisi. I stood from the table and went to my room, pulling out the case that held the gun Boss gave me when I was fourteen. It wasn't until I was sixteen that he allowed me to keep it with me at all times. I unlocked the black case and pulled out my revolver, manually putting in each bullet into the six openings of its chamber. Walking out, I headed for the main entrance, and opened the door with my free hand, keeping the gun in the hand that was appearing to have opened the door, out of sight.
Georgiano was one of Boss Motisi's guards. He would even escort Boss' daughters sometimes. He was guarding Boss' front door with two other men. Looking at Georgiano I said; "Boss said; get a lady from the lobby." It was a lie, but he didn't know that. Guards get guests from the lobby all the time. When Boss has guests. Georgiano turned to go to the elevator and I stepped out, gun in hand. The other guards did not move. I shot Georgiano in the back of the head and the other two dragged his body into the garbage chute.
Boss came out from the door, nodded, and told me to clean up the mess. I nodded and went to the kitchen to get the cleaning supplies. I'd cleaned dead mess before, before I learned what it was like to make dead mess. I had killed people before Georgiano. But they were people who had been beaten, or cornered, tied, or held down. People who knew they were going to die then.
I don't know why, only that I do what I'm told.

• Anyanka, the King of Air, mistaken for an angel in times of old. Bored in Hell she began searching the human realm in which to play with mortal lives. Slipping herself into a whore's body on the street's of Italy, she found herself learning of the Motisi Mafia, a family-run gang ruling the underworld of major cities throughout central and South Italy. Intrigued, she remained in the cover of a seductive prostitute, learning more of the organisation and its members by inticing them to quiet corners, using her demonic powers to learn what she wanted. Until she met Joushi's father. The man was loyal to a fault, not even allowing her host's allure to distract him. She was an excellent target for her, being the personal body guard and protective detail of the Motisi family head. Eventually it was his unwavering loyalty that ended up turning her curiosity onto him and away from the Motisi.

• Alfonso was born as a Motisi, the cousin of the current head of the family. However he has shown nothing but loyalty and unwavering skill in protecting his family, earning him a trusted position within the household. During his time serving, he encountered a popular whore under the Motisi 'protection'. At first her interest in him felt superficial and was thus unappealing. However, it started to become known that she was refusing the advances of other gangsters, pursing only Alfonso. As her interest continued on into the months, it was eventually deemed inevitable for them to form a relationship. Even now, having revealed herself as the daughter of Satan, Alfonso shows care for her.

FAMILIAR DESCRIPTION: A Byakko is a demon fox who serve shrine maidens and is shown to be disobedient to those who lack self-confidence. As demons that possess animals and serve as messengers to gods, they coexist with humans. Byakko were originally popular in Japan as guardian deities of foods and agriculture. The older ones are intelligent and can understand human language. They will enter into agreements with people. As long as the agreement is kept, they bring benefit, but otherwise, they may inflict harm.

The Byakko remained nameless under Joushi's care, until the Jinriki daughters found out about it. They croon over the small fox-like creature, but it tends to transform into a snake when they come around, knowing they don't like the serpents. Before it found they didn't like snakes, it would hiss, grow horns, elongate its fangs, and snap at them, but they kept persisting in wanting to pet it and play with it for extended periods of time. It tires easily from their play. They called the Byakko 'Trick' after the first experience with the snake. Before, they would call it 'Dairy', because of its love of all dairy products. Except cheese.
The Byakko was, at that point, fine with being left in Joushi's dorm room until the male returned with fresh milk [ occasionally flavoured! ]. But the sisters would come up and visit it, and the Byakko was left to defend itself until it's human returned. After the first week, the demon began to follow Joushi to his classes, making itself small to fit into his blazer pocket or turning into a necklace so it could sit and sleep and absorb the warmth from around Joushi's neck. Joushi still hasn't named it.
On the days the Dragoon has free, Joushi takes the kit to the shrine, where it plays with the other Byakko and the human helps the shrine maiden with any chores to be done. Sometimes, Joushi has to escort either or both of Boss Jinriki's daughters. If they have a date, or want to go shopping, it is Joushi's duty to ensure their safety. On those days the kit would accompany Joushi. After a few months, the youngest daughter suggested the Byakko turn into the form of a guard dog. Joushi took the suggestion to heart and showed the Byakko the image of a canine that both daughter's agreed would be intimidating but appealing to be seen with. A Finnish Spitz.
Showing the Byakko an image of the dog, he also showed it a small bottle of flavoured milk at the same time. When the demon tried to approach the milk, Joushi moved the image in front of the bottle, signalling what he wanted the kit to do before he would reward it. The kit changed its body to look like the dog - after a few whines and yips - but it kept its small size. Joushi gave it some milk. Later, when the kit wanted some more, Joushi presented the picture again. This time he made a sign, using his hands to show he wanted the Byakko to increase in size. The Byakko grew a bit bigger and changed appearance and Joushi gave it a larger portion of milk than before. This training continued until the desired results were achieved and a life-sized Finnish Spitz was drinking it's favourite flavoured milk from a bowl. The Byakko is treated especially well with ice cream at the end of each day it keeps its new canine shape when Joushi has to escort the Jinriki daughters.
