If you're connected through work, school or a public network, they may have blocked off the file sharing site.
If you're connected from home, your ISP may have blocked off the file sharing site.
There's also the chance the file sharing site has blocked off specific areas to try to avoid lawyers.

Ya know, this game stops being fun when you have to grind for 3+ hours to beat one of the gym leaders ughh. I'm stuck on Noel right now and not finding the motivation to level my whole team up emotion_drool Plus I dont really have the best team either

Noel is one of the harder leaders. Though in all honesty, levels aren't nearly as important as player skill.
