In the midst of the attack on Sora, outside the village there was a seeming wall of blockades erected out of nowhere manned by ninja wearing no headbands with the intent of cutting off supply lines. The head of the blockade is a seasoned Hyuuga veteran and patrols vigilantly. Most of the other ninja are taijutsu and ninjutsu squads with little redeeming qualities.

"Military blockade?" Footsteps muffled by the grassy plains could barely be heard. There were two steps, but one could not easily tell because they were in perfect synchronization. "How gauche." At the same time the foot steps stopped at the crest of a hill. The two mirror matches bent at the same time and squatted, lifting their hoods from their faces for a clearer look. The blockades were crude at best, shabby work done by inexperienced hands. A lot of wood was used in the construction, wood that could be easily set aflame. "And do we not know someone who has a knack for setting things ablaze?" Oliver said, a smile growing on his sister's face. A plan began to formulate in their collective mind, one full of wit and distractions.
This mission had turned into a game of chess, but it was almost as if they could not see the other side of the board. Charging into a battle without knowing almost everything about the otherside was absolutely reckless. The Delacroix family was known for their tact and expertise, not their recklessness. "It seems to me that we need a mole, don't you agree sister?" Reluctantly and silently, Olivia agreed. Oliver hugged her softly, one arm wrapped around her shoulders. "What would they say about the two who wouldn't lift a finger for their own nation?" The brother said, touching his lips to the top of his sister's hair. It was not that he did not feel the same fear, that would literally be impossible. It was that their brains tended to be on the opposite sides of a topic. Olivia had the same nationalist pride as Oliver, but her yearning to keep him safe was holding her back. Being separate was never pleasant for either of them. After a beat of quiet, Olivia spoke. "I suppose we would work like radios." The girl said despondently.
Oliver volunteered to go, believing that the stereotypical bandit gang was more inclined to accept a burly man than a small woman. So they doubled back to the village and set up a very believable act. Oliver was outfitted with a number of supplies and 'stolen' items. Sullenly, Olivia took a few shots at his face and body. They gathered a few ninja and the act was put on. Oliver was given a head start before the ninja charged after him. Olivia remained behind, watching from afar. Ninjutsu techniques were shot, projectiles were thrown, and shouts rang out in the night. Oliver ran straight for the blockade, avoiding the majority of the harshest ninjutsu techniques. To make it appear real the squad of ninja were actively trying to hit him. As Oliver landed on the ground and rolled away from a particularly close fireball, an arrow found itself in his thigh. He grunted with the pain and Olivia caught her breath, clutching at her leg. Oliver limped onward, close enough to the lines now for the enemy ninja to locate him.

[Had great post written, then acidentally closed browser. Not rewritng just gonna give you the jist.]
As oliver limped forward the bandits very roughly snatched him up and off the front lines of the battle and he was taken to a man with bandages on his eyes and a pair of blades on his back. What are you doing here? Why were you running? he'd ask as he used a small knife to skin a deer he had recently killed in the village very delicately.

Olivia stood by the Soragakure Ninja Task Force made up in order to break the blockade. Every part of her body was relaxed save for her hands. Those were clenched into fists and every now and then she would open and then close them. Oliver was in a precarious place right now, having been seized by the enemies. Through his eyes she watched him be brought before a man with bandages over his eyes. Despite his apparent blindness he was expertly skinning a deer. "They've found him, he is speaking with a man, bandages over his eyes. Perhaps this is their leader..." Olivia mused to try and keep herself level headed. Oliver on the other hand was the one showing emotion.
Oliver was keeping the pressure off of his wounded leg, the pain on his face. His eyes seemed wild, almost frantic. Despite his outer appearance Oliver was incredibly calm. It was very simple for the twins to share the stress and burden of intense emotions. It kept them both clear-minded and able to function fully. "I'm a soldier, or I was. This blockade has made life hard in Sora, they cut our rations in half. But my little girl was sick, she needed more food. They denied me and I had to steal." Oliver looked at the ground, ashamed for a moment. The next words he spoke quivered with rage and his body tensed. "My girl...I was caught and they locked me up. She, she didnt make it." Oliver held back the tears that he forced to his eyes and then looked up at the man with bandages, a hard and wild look to his eyes. "I don't care about who I have to serve now, or what I have to do. They stole from me the one thing that matters! Let me have my revenge! Let me starve them out they way they starved my girl out!" Oliver said, passion sinking into his words and a fervor growing inside of him that only strengthened his performance. Well done brother... Olivia thought, though Oliver could only feel a sense of pride instead of showing it.

[Part one fails] The man with his bandages would listen to the story seemingly impassively as a trio of hungry barks resonated within the camp and the patter of feet would be heard coming from behind Oliver by the end of his speech. A trio of dogs leaped over his head hungrily and closed the short distance between the man and Olie rather fast. He turned and held out a hand, stopping all three of those dogs in their tracks. The man turned back slowly as they heeled better than an army platoon all standing at attntion. The were perfectly still minus wagging tails and tongues hanging from their mouths. He removed only the skin of the dear and tossed into to a pile where there were similar pelts, bear, deer, smaller less imposing wolf. There was one of everything, perhaps more. He stood and allowed the wolves to lick the blood from his hands without regard for the danger that posed, and then grabbed a towel to wash them clean. He walked around Oliver and sniffed him before ripping a small tuft of hair lose from his head and inhaling. Go Eat. He would say ominously looking down at the boy almost as if speaking to him, but would clear that up as he watched the three wolves go from a pack to a ravenous hungry, almost three headed monster. He inhaled the air deeply as he watched them eat, taking in every single scent for a long way. He smirked and then kneed before Oliver, ripping the arrow out after determining it was safe-ish to do so and thenwrapped up his leg very quickly.. You'll need a new name if you want to stick around here, regardless of how much you liked your old one. I think I'm going to call you Apollo. He would seem totally oblivious to the obvious implications of the naming, but still he would walk towards a group of other ninja, expecting "Apollo" to be following him.
Eli, get your group. Were going to go finish the interrogation. he'd say to a large, bald man who was sticky and putrid from the smell of blood. He and two other guys carrying tools and seemingly straight out of a RUssian mafia movie, followed as the sightless man led perfectly to the tent. Inside a man was tied to a chair and seemingly drained both mentally and physically. He had no nose, his fingernails were gone, and he was missing about twelve teeth. He barely responded when the group entered. Will you talk? blind man said. The sora ninja, a familiar man, spit in the face of Eli, who took a pair of scissors to his right ear. The blood curdling scream was only made worse by the hungry growls outside the net. The leader grabbed his chin and gently lifted it, looking him directly in the eye through his bandage. Just end this. Tell me how to get into the village without raising any panic so I can get my boys outta jail, and you're done here. The man went to spit again but by the time he had the man's free hand had only needed to poke his hand and the man began to scream again. He then delivered a kick so strong he man made a hole in the back of the tent and the chair was crushed between him and a tree. The dogs didn't move, and the Byakugan user removed a sword from it's sheath. He grabbed Oliver by the shirt and pulled him along. Alright Apollo. Here's your initiation. Pick up the blade, and kill him. Right now. he'd say throwing down the blade and pushing him forward. By now, Oliver was surrounded by Bandits expecting him to kill that poor shinobi. Upon geting a close look at him, it would be obvious who he was. He was one of the instructors in the academy, a famous one at that. The leader of the barricades did not join the cheering. He knew two things. First, was that Oliver wasn't a traitor, no matter how believable his story was. And he did believe it. Until he placed the scent of his body and hair to that of another who wasn't far from the encampment. He unwraveled his bandages slowly, drawing no attention to himself and revealed not black eyes, but purely White ones. He performed a handseal and veins popped out of his eyes. He could see the entirety of the [thread] now and made a motion towards the group to Eli. Eli nodded, but didn't move. By then, Oliver should have made his choice. There were about ten bandits there, and more along the walls and in their own camps nearby. The saving grace was that the man had brought them to an area where the blockade was already lacking in men, and most of the ones manning it would be enthralled in the "initiation" leaving them precious moments of Oliver could keep his head level and take notice before the men returned to their posts, and possibly killed him.
Meanwhile, Princess Kozi had been keeping the fact that she had shot the lucky bolt into Oliver a secret. She'd quickly passed the weapon to someone else, and now she was impatiently waiting for the outcome of the situation. Oliver had been taken right to the leader, which was fine. He just needed to do something to weaken the defenses they had set up. A distraction? Maybe just straight kill the leader? Plant explosives? A LOT of explosives? Perhaps summon Intet the Dreamer or Niv Mizzet and just blast the doors down? At any rate, her Magic addiction aside, she rocked back and forth perched in a tree, waiting to fire off some random ninjutsu or actually try to blow something up. If Oliver didn't get something by morning in a few hours, she'd just start blowing s**t up, which she actually thought was a good idea in the first place. But they had told her she'd probably die a long time before she could get close. They clearly didn't know Kozi very well. She had no idea what was going on, so she looked to Olivia.
Hey Olive Oil, she began endearingly, Where is Ollie? What the hells going on? She'd ask leaping down, her chain vest and trench coat just barely open to show that, as per the norm, she wasn't wearing anything but that. It showed very little though, and she was indeed wearing shorts. The long sleeves danced a bit in the small amount of wind, but her fingers were clearly digging into her outer thighs in anticipation. She itched at her ankle with her foot. Anger driving her into irritation with his constant insisting that she get on with the destruction. It's not like she was a ragdoll of infinite strength, it had argued. She ignored it. He burned her up sometimes but at the moment for Olivia and the others sake she was simply holding her rage in. Unbeknownst to her she and the twins were under scrutiny from higher ups for possibly ranking up. That knowledge aside, she was still trying hard not to punch a tree.

Oliver could feel that he had the man hooked in his story and allowed himself a small moment of celebration. He turned his head at the sound of dogs approaching rather swifly. The way the interacted with the beasts had Olivia and Oliver both suddenly concerned. This was no ordinary bandit or rogue as the rest were. The male version of the twins remained quiet and still as the man closed the distanc between them and literally sniffed him. Oliver made no sound when the hair was ripped from his head, but instead could only think of how silly he would look in the coming days. The way the man scented the air gave Oliver a queer prickle on his neck. There was definitely someone he would be able to pick up, for she smelled just as he did. Yet the man did not instantly set his dogs on Ollie nor did he try to stab him. Instead he ripped the arrow from his leg and bandaged it. At that Oliver could not retain a surprised yelp of pain. The christening of his new self practically fell on deaf ears as Olivia forced herself to take on the pain from her brother, soothing his mind. She clutched at her leg as Oliver found his strength, rising up on his leg and standing awkwardly. He hobbled after the man, wishing he had gotten a name.
Olivia was standing separately from the majority of the assorted ninja, her eyes fixated on the camp. With what Oliver had seen and what Olivia could see they had a pretty decent grasp of the camp. Even so, Olivia knew that they did not know enough. While Oliver worked from the inside Olivia did her best to map out his escape, weak points, and even guard routes. It was not only to assist the mission, but to keep herself calm. Putting their minds to work was the remedy the Delacroix children used to quell the sea of emotions they could feel. This process was interrupted by a voice sounding too tender to belong to who it did. Olivia turned and raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Hmm? Oh, Kozi." She uttered just above a whisper as she watched the woman descend from her perch. Olivia did not even have the time nor want to think upon her body, regardless of how nice it really was. It was odd to see this girl in such a state of anticipation. Olivia felt she should be the one to be fidgeting. But she recalled a time when Kozi drove a man's head into a wall several times on a whim. "Oliver is currently performing reconnaissance, there are plenty of men over there. We've got a feeling this is not going to end as easily as we previously thought." Olivia said, not caring to lie or pretty up the situation to Kozi. They were ninja, not kids. "Oliver is hurt, someone managed to put a bolt through his leg." The girl mentioned, absentmindedly reaching down to her own appendage as if she had been the one to be pierced. "When it comes down to a fight I would have you know that I intend to disregard every living creature save for Oliver. I will not leave him to the dogs." Olivia said darkly, a hint of worry leaking out. Her face did not change at all, no she was much too prideful to show just how worried she actually was.
As they walked through the camp Oliver took note of every single person, defense, and item he could see. Olivia began to rapidly deliver this information to those around her, sharing every insight she received from her other half. She balked for a moment, slowing to a stop when Oliver met Eli. The man was large and bald, but it was the blood that hit them the hardest. Was Oliver being marched to his death? The tools they carried, hooks, long thin spikes with handles, hammers; they were torture devices. Olivia placed a hand over her mouth for a moment and took in a deep breath, steadying Oliver's nerves for him. Wordlessly he followed the bandaged man into a large tent, taking a moment to adjust his eyes to the darkness inside. Oliver's eyes focused in on a figure in a chair. Slowly the details came to him. This man had been mutilated beyond reason, tormented for information. But it seemed he had yet to give in, else this horrible carnival would have ended. It was not until the man lifted his head to spit at Eli that Oliver realized who he was. This was an Academy teacher, a sensei even he had in the past. And now he was tasked with killing him. Oliver looked down at the blade in front of him, the cold steel almsot glowing in the firelight. He took one look at the people around him and realized there were a lot of people in here. In an instant his mind was made up.
"The large tent on this side! It's the weakest point we can find! GO!" Olivia shouted an order, directing the ninja to strike swift and hard. She brought her hands together the moment Oliver did the same. Surely the man with those special eyes would see the chakra surge forth, but by then it would already be too late. Just behind the man in the chair opened a rift, and another opened directly in front of Olivia. Oliver surged forward and knocked himself and the man through the rift. Already Olivia was running forward reaching into a pouch and grabbing a wad of papers. She tossed the cluster through the rift on her side and into the tent just as Oliver passed through. The instant he made it the rift closed, and the tags would explode on the other side. Everyone would be able to see the explosion and know just where to strike. Olivia shouted for a team of medics to come to the man and wasted no time running to her brother, squeezing his hand intensely. "I'll take Phantom. I won't be able to do much running around with my leg like this." Oliver said as he rolled up his sleeve to reveal the puppet seal. He tapped it and attached his chakra strings, summoming forth his puppet. Already ninja were swarming forward to strike. The battle had begun.

[Part succeeds] The man, henceforth known as Lemmy, felt the chakra surge and moved to act immedately. He only knew something was coming thanks to his byakugan and immediately began rotating. The other ninja moved away from his area of effect, not knowing why he had started this. The entire rift would be engulfed in his chakra, and as the tags came through they would be shredded, stopping them from exploding. His wolves howled and returned to him, beginning to morph shape just the same as him. Soon they were all man beasts and Lemmy was prepared to go out and fight. He looked at the area and saw a truly disturbing sight, not off putting enough to stop him but more than enough to slow him down. He shook himself off and ordered his men to get clear.
When Olivia spoke Kozi stepped back and a bit out of sight so as to begin preparing her stitching began coming apart slowly while she listened and in the few moments of silence she had began threading her tendrils deep into the earth. When the portal opened she was blasted immediately by the wind coming through from the rotation and took Oliver's scream and the sight of the blue chakra as her only needed signs. Kozi leaped forward, sorta anyway, with tendrils like string starting to wrap around the trees around her as she made it to what was basically a frontier. Now that the Ollies were out of her sightline for a quick moment those black strings semmed to be the only things keeping her together as her body was reduced to a ragdoll and the suiton mask took it's place at her shoulder region. The sides of her mouth tore and instead of blood more threads came out. He hands clapped together and she weaved a set of seals. Ninja Art: Hydra Anyuerism! Combining the Wind pressure technique with the True Hydra and Searing Migrane was simple enough. She just had to aim it correctly and sustain the attack. She was firmly rooted in place and began to exhale deeply out of nowhere. A powerful blast of fire and wind combined into a sort of lazer that impacted that spot on the barricade that the rotation had come from. Flanking the middle blast were two more lines of flames that were intensified by the wind at imapct. The over all effect was that the area where the middle blast hit would be filled with superheated wind that constantly pushed out on a smaller but more deadly scale than pressure damage usually was on. The two other hydra heads would be forced out and around that flaming dome, making a true blaze of heat. As she fired this she moved her head slowly, decimating the walls and setting fire to it easily while hopefully killing the leader. The suiton mask opened as she weaved another set of seals and a wall of water erected that fell and made the ground below her attack walkable as she quelled her flaming rage and ripped the strings free of her body. She was still ragdoll like in appearance, but by now she didn't mind. She took her super strong legs, finally letting her anger take hold, and leaping super high toget some distance with a battle cry that would signal the beginning of the assault.

Olivia and Oliver both whistled in unison at Kozi managing to create a sizeable gap in the blockade. Most siege lines were constructed of wood; chopped trees, captured wagons and torn buildings. In short it was always incredibly flammable. Perhaps with a gathering of enough ninjutsu users there could one day be a siege line constructed of stone and earth rather than something easily destructible. But today the Delacroix doubles were glad that was indeed not the case. "You've got to hand it to her." Olivia started, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. The blast had been quite large and a lot of wind had kicked up as a result. Oliver was scratching at his head, frowning at the feel of the bald spot upon his head. "She does indeed know how to make an entrance." Oliver smiled at his second half and watched as she ran off to join the fray. He would direct the battle from here and give aid where he could from afar.
Oliver's hands came together in seals as Olivia took control of Phantom, running low and staying just behind them. They cut through the tall plain grass like knives, streaking past other ninja. Oliver created five rifts in the sky, all aimed towards the encampment. He had created windows he could look through so he could provide a birds eye for his sister and their compatriots. Oliver reached up a finger and tapped the radio attached to his ear. "Squad One move eastward; five-man group of bandits surrounding the arming tent." Olivia nodded her head and ducked beneath an onslaught of senbon launched from a trap of sorts. There was one poor unfortunate soul dumb enough to take the brunt of the attack. Olivia twirled Phantom and it began to dig at the twitchings and fidgets of her slender fingers. The puppet burrowed beneath the ground and Olivia continued onward, staying just behind her support group. A shout from her left alerted her to a sudden attack. Three bandits cut from a tent and brandished weapons, ready to strike. One of her squadmates jumped in front of her and blocked a sword with his own, delivering a sharp punch to the man's stomach. Olivia waved her hands through the air in a vicious swipe. Blood sprayed across the grass as Phantom burst from the ground, spinning and slashing the three bandits. They fell to the floor, lifeless as well as headless.
Oliver turned to another window and watched another battle take place. There was a barricade separating half of the groups from the other. The ginger haired boy frowned and reached up to his radio again. "About three hundred feet from the initial blast there is a large barricade; groups four through seven are separated from groups one through three. It needs to be destroyed." He received a multitude of replies and watched as the ninja task forces surged together in complete synchronization. One thing about having received military training versus becoming a bandit and learning from other thugs is the sheer amount of discipline. The battlefield appeared to be a mess but in truth it was almost like a game of chess to Oliver. He could see his pieces, the pawns, rooks, knights, and bishops traveling across the land. Sometimes he would lose a piece and other times he would take one from the other side. At all times he was aware of his Queen; Olivia. She was always there, the other half of him. Every time she was in danger he held his breath and prayed silently to the gods.
Olivia jumped left and pulled a hand close to her. Phantom flew through the air and stopped just in front of her. The blade that would have cleaved her in two instead found itself stuck in the soft wood of the puppet. The man wielding it struggled to free it. Phantom's head loomed closer and a green gas emitted from its eyes and mouth holes. The man coughed and gasped, clawing at his neck and eyes. Olivia faded into the darkess and continued on, knowing what would happen. As the man opened his eyes he saw Phantoms, a dozen of them flying around. He screamed in terror and slashes wildly through the air, drawing a lot of attention towards himself. A few more bandits appeared and try to calm him, and that was when Olivia attacked. Phantom flew through the air with only his cloak billowing in the wind. Olivia flexed her fingers in seemingly random patterns, but Phantom responded as if he was her dancing partner. Together Olivia's fingers intertwined and turned and Phantom mimicked her. Exactly where she wanted he struck, his blade singing the song she had written for it. Each mark she set Phantom's poison tipped blades found. By the end of their performance none of the men were left standing. "Olivia!" Oliver shouted as he flinched when a powerful blow caught her on the back of the head. Phantom fell to the floor as she did, as lifeless as Olivia's body. Oliver's hands met in a series of forms as a door opened in front of Olivia. As her assailant emerged from the darkness a nigh on invisible blast of wind met him head on. Oliver formed a single seal as another went through, the bladed wind cutting through the man as if they had been swords. Olivia pushed herself up on her hands and shook her head to clear away the fuzziness. With Oliver's help she reacted. As the man recovered from Oliver's assault he stumbled forth, reaching out with bloodied hands to grasp her. Oliver took over Olivia's body, moving her fingers for her. The puppet clicked thrice and launched forward, sinking both of its bladed arms deep into the man. As Oliver had directed all the ninja groups had come together and assaulted the barricade on both sides. Fire met wind and earth met wood as they smashed, burned, and torched the encampment.

As the Ollie twins did their jobs and directed the flow of battle from their positions, Kozi lended her hand with carefully placed support attacks from long range. Her chakra was holding well, and she was taking her time removing threats from the battle field as necessary while offering up her skills as defensive abilities. Along with its raw killing potential, she had the potential for serious defense as well. Careful usage of her Shakuton not only demolished the barricades, but made conditions for enemy ninja behind them too hostile to defend before her squads even reached them. In addition to that, wounded could rely on her to temporarily stitch up wounds and then head back into battle. The only factor she wasn't ready for was the sole true ninja among these bandits, and he had his eyes set on her.
From the barricade walls that had initially fallen, four figures emerged and began ripping through the allied ninja forces. Claws and fangs ripped through her allies, ending their lives ruthlessly while all Kozi could do was try and make heads or tails. Then she saw the wolf in charge and his veneer of calm came nowhere close to being enough to intimidate Kozi. He and two of his dogs leaped into the air and began spinning stupidly fast. Kozi was quick thinking, erecting a wall of water before leaping backwards to avoid their attacks. She was met by the fourth werewolf-kin attacking her as she landed, but as his claws dug into her arm no blood sprayed forth. Only tendrils. The extended battle had put anger on full blast and she delivered a solid punch that sent the creature reeling a good ten meters. The ground exploded beneath her a few times as she opened the first through fourth gates and turned, eyes and skin turning red, to see the drill run coming back. Two arms and a third made of tendrils reached out and grabbed the points of the drills. As she slid backwards her feet began up rooting the floor and she let out a banshee wail as she stepped and turned, slamming the three into the ground through their drills. She was set upon immediately again but this time a grunt of annoyance escaped her body as she slung her assailant down before her by his head. The pack only watched in horror as the werewolf was quickly takendown and her arms found his chin and forehead. The snap was heard across the battle field.
Foreign strength coursing through her veins and her meager knowledge of the strong fist, combined with her ragdoll composition made her a pain for the now bloodthirsty pack. She avoided a claw swipe narrowly from Lemmy but couldn't counter for his jyuuken proved formiddable. Her only answer to it was a surprise tendril attack. They burst her chest as his fingers came in to what could have been a deadly blow, and wrapped around his fist. Whe he tried to use a hyuga attack to cut them with chakra more tendrils from that line wrapped around his other hand and tied them together. Her other arms extended and rammed into the necks of the werewolves with betraying strength. They wrapped around their bodies and held their throats, each of them being choked lifeless by Kozi. The hounds couldn't even cry as they were lifted and crushed. She felt their fight. All of them were fighting even though Kozi had them on the ropes. Just die!? she said darkly to them all as their lives were wringed free. To punctuate she not only kicked Lemmy so hard that he tore into the ground before knocking over a part of the barricade, but she sent the other two flying in opposite directions as well. She now stood directly in the epicenter of the battle, which donned on her as her senses came back. She blinked in a flash to the rest of the men and began raising hell. It didn't take long before the blockade had been taken down and the assault deemed a success.
