As his parents calmed down over the news, Caesar laughed at Nathan's reaction to Yvette's words. The boy was still completely confused, but he would be taught more when he was older. For now, Nathan just accepted the statement and returned to eating the slice of pizza in his hand. Once everyone was finished with goodbyes, Caesar offered his bride his arm, a smile on his face as he asked, "Do you know the coordinates of Japan?" It didn't matter to him which city they visited, Yvette had far more knowledge of the country than she did. He just wanted to make sure that their transporters were set correctly before leaving.

Slightly surprised that Elendil offered to help clean, she nodded in acceptance. "I would appreciate it." she told him honestly, although she hoped that Lyndis would take too long to return and help. Cleaning up a wedding, even a small one, wasn't so easy. Still, this seemed like a golden opportunity for her to figure out how to proceed with her game. Finding a trash bag, she held it open for the prince, letting him throw away the stuff he had already grabbed. Standing beside the refreshment table, she started to throw away empty pizza boxes. As she broke one down to lay flat, she asked lightly, "If you weren't a prince, would you be an artist?" It was question she had considered a hundred times before, and had even asked her siblings the same thing on occasion. There had even been one time where she asked her father, but that had only drudged up hard memories.

Yvette smiled at husband and her transporter and set the coordinates. After she input the location she pressed the button and the two were away on their honey moon.

Elendil thanked Lucy for holding the bag open for him. As they worked to clean the place more a question popped up that he hadn't thought about. "Maybe, but it would also depend on my situation too. "If were married I would need a job to support my wife and family." He answered her.

Some guests mill about, but everyone begins to leave.}

Listening to his answer, she nodded. "Art could be your job." she told him, believing that he was talented enough to make money off of his work. Still, she knew that most people would see it as a risk, Elendil was probably one of those people. Just from a hypothetical question she could see that he would care first for his family before his desires. "But I'm guessing you would choose stability." she commented as she threw another empty box away. "If I weren't a princess, I think I would be reckless." She laughed at the idea, one hand pushing back a loose strand of hair as she moved to collect abandoned paper cups. She threw them into her trash bag, still speaking with a light tone despite the weight of her words. "I wouldn't have to waste my time."

Elendil thought for a moment before answering her. "If I was by myself that is one thing, but if there was someone who was relying on me then I would do what is best for them." The prince said as he picked up more trash. "We only say we would waste our time because we have the money to. Not everyone has the money to have hobby's and instead work hard for just a single meal each day."

Considering Elendil's words, she took a few moments in silence to figure out her response. Finally, she released a sigh, her words losing a bit of their usual light tone. "I know that. I've seen my people suffer." The war had taken a toll on everybody, and despite her youth at the time, she remembered it vividly. "But my life now is a waste of time." She didn't wish to sound like a complaining teenager, but it was difficult for her to articulate her thoughts. "I may be second in line for the throne by technicality, but it's not true. If something were to happen to Yvette, our brother would ascend the throne, not me. Times are changing, but we can't afford another war." Besides, Yvette was going to have a child who would likely become her heir. She continued to clean quietly, lost in thought until she realized that she should explain herself a bit better. "It's not that I'm jealous." she said, turning to face the prince. "Well, I mean I'm not jealous of the throne. I don't want it. I just feel jealous that my sister has a role. My brother has a role to carry on our name. I don't have a purpose like that...but I'm not allowed to find a role on my own." Meeting his gaze, she shared sad smile and a small shrug. Truly, Lucy wasn't sure why she was choosing to open up to Elendil, but it felt good to just explain herself out loud.

Elendil stopped he made her upset. The elf prince turned and grabbed Lucy by the arm. It was a be gruff, but needed. "Don't worry about the role your siblings face, it is your role to make yourself free. Runaway if you want, fall in love with whom ever. You don't have to face the same fate as your siblings." He told the woman. She was the lucky one, a child ignored because she was not needed for some bigger purpose.

"I wish I could be you." The man added. What was it like to run around and get dirty or ignore his duties even for an hour. "Even your sister was acting in duty when she married her husband. She knew if she married a wizard that it would cause another fight. The world is coming less and less kind towards those who are truly humans. Think about what would have happened if Yvette married Will instead of Caesar."

Surprised by the elf's contact, Lucy listened intently to what he had to say. His actions were so different from the politeness previously that she knew he meant what he said. His words about Yvette caused her to feel immediate guilt, as she had not truly realized that her accidental love was actually in favor of the rules. Caesar was a siren, lowborn, but at least he was of the same race, insuring that their children would actually be closer to bloodline than Yvette was; she was half human, and if she had indeed married Will, their kids would have only be a fourth siren, which she knew could easily start another war. "I understand." Her voice was reflective, and a took a few moment to think. He had said that her role was to feel free. A nice statement but she had no idea how to go about it. The last person of Siren royalty to runaway was her uncle, and he had lived a very short life away from the country.

Once they had finished cleaning, she spared a glance to make sure that they had missed nothing. The carpeted floors could use a vacuum, but Lucy was sure that the church would take care of that. Besides, she had no idea where their supply closet even was. So, as she tied off the large bag of trash, she spoke to Elendil. "Let's try your theory." she began, setting the bag next to a trash bin before collecting her own bag. "You'll be in town for a day or so. Now's the time to runaway, just until you need to go back."

{ooc: That is, sadly, a perfect comparison.}

((Oh what I think up on the spot))

Elendil was glad that Lucy understood her sister more. While the future queen was far from prefect, she was still a good person who cared for others. He had been around when she talked to Donny a few times about the issues before everything changed.

The prince reflect on the last words Lucy said on the matter and nearly jumped out of his skin. The was going to help her run away? "Runaway? To where?" He asked worried that he may get himself in trouble. He was also a heir and couldn't do anything too extreme.

Smiling faintly as Elendil didn't immediately brush off her idea, she spoke honestly. "I don't know. Anywhere we've never been." That left a lot of the world open, since she had only left Spain for Janhall, and she believed that the prince had spent most of his time in his homeland. "Look," she started, facing him with one hand on her hip. "I have a transporter. We just travel for a day, see how far we can get. Then we take a picture and pop back here." Neither one of them would be abandoning their names or titles in one day, but it was like an unplanned vacation. "We'll be back in twenty four hours." she promised, lowering her hand to her bag. After a few seconds, she pulled out her phone. Unlocking it, she found the timer, setting for exactly twenty four hours. Turning the screen to face him, she spoke again, letting him make the choice. "Push the button."

Elendil was unsure about this. "I can't." He responded. He looked away. It was like he was ashamed of himself for saying he couldn't. "I'm on royal duties right now. I'm only waiting for Donny to get back. Once he tells me he has returned then I can have fun, but for now I must wait for him." The prince responded as.

Still with patience, Lucianna stepped closer to Elendil, taking one of his hands in hers as she spoke. "When Abbadon returns, you'll have to go back home. This is a chance you may have to wait years for to get again." She believed Donny would be fine; there was Lyn, Marcus and Rose willing to wait around, and he could take several days to get back. It was clear that Lyn was not going to return here, so she saw no reason for Elendil to stay. The idea of running away, even for a single day, did not seem as appealing if she had to do it alone. Switching over to Elvish, her voice was soft as she looked up to his face. "Only one day." Placing her phone in his hand, Lucy waited for him to agree, her expression open.

It was hard for Elendil to say no to Lucy. He wanted to have a fun day as well. Instead the man took the phone until he saw Rose still hanging around. The prince wave his niece over. "Rose will you call Lucy if anything comes up. We'll return right away." the man said as he looked at Lucy so she could give the halfling her phone number.

It was almost surprising that Elendil had been swayed by her words. She knew she could be persuasive, but this was a good display of her talents. With a smile on her face, she looked to Rose as she was called for. When the halfling approached, Lucy exchanged numbers with her, even writing it down in case it somehow got deleted. Once that was done, she thanked Rose with a hug before allowing the elvish prince to start the timer. With their time ticking away, she took ahold of Elendil's hand as they left the church, her voice light as she told him, "We can get clothes wherever we end up." Despite the fact that they were 'running away' for a day, Lucy was very much looking forward to the risk of not knowing where they would end up, and only having the money in their pockets to live on. "Here, spin the dial and choose where we go." She held out her transporter for him to hold as well, letting him randomly decide on their coordinates. "Don't worry about landing in water, I set it to land locations only."

Elendil wondered if he was going to regret this later. He knew Lillie would kill him if something bad happened. When the transporter was handed to him the prince randomly spun it. If they had to go somewhere then it may as well be a surprise. Once it stopped he handed it back to Lucy and grabbed her hand. If he didn't hold on to her then he would be left behind.
