People say I tend to be Cold, uncaring, greedy, hardhearted, territorial, inhumane, unmerciful, indifferent, rude, insensitive and compassionless. Granted, the only people I ever talk to these days are the people whose companies I'm buying out... Forgive me for being focused on doing the best job I can. I hate whining, sniveling people who assume that telling me a good sob story is somehow going to keep their business from foreclosing. This is a world of numbers, not of feelings. It does get kind of lonely here in this cold world though, maybe it's time to stop focusing on numbers... Oh that's utterly ridiculous. Feelings only ever bring trouble, and trouble is something I'm currently trying to avoid.
You're so nosy. Fine, I will tell you thatI’m the younger of the… many… children of Asmodeous, one of the seven princes of Hell. My mother was a simple fire elemental, not particularly nurturing, but would tolerate my presence as I was growing up. I received most of my mothering from nannies, like all of my siblings that were born in Hell. It was a bit rough, constantly competing for love and attention. It was particularly hard to get Father’s; he was often preoccupied with his job of spreading lust, and of course partaking in it himself. There was nothing that particularly set me apart from my other siblings, the highest thing I could aspire to be was a general in his army. I did serve as an officer for a time, but after an accident I lost my wings… My military career ended at that.
It took several years for me to recuperate enough to resume my post, but by that point I had enough of just about everyone and ascended to the human world. I wasted my time, partied, drank, did a few things my father would have approved of… Spent quite a few years like this, had my heart broken, broke more than a handful myself. If there was anything I learned from my time on Earth, it was that anyone can betray you, one just has to make staying faithful more ludicrous than betraying you.
After a short stint as a musician (that was a mess I don’t plan on discussing), I became involved in business dealings; I found that I have a skill with numbers and a knack for picking out good investments. To make a very long story involving stock market crashes, and some insider trading, I now own a very successful investment firm, opera house, bank, and real-estate enterprise to name a few. However, my investments range from movie studios to clothing brands, some are more successful than others, but they’re risks I was prepared to take.
To put it simply, I’m currently investigating to see if the slave trade is worth it to involve myself in. I haven’t had a pet in a long while; I think I’ll start there. I do need someone I can take to all of those horrid social functions I’m required to attend due to my position in the business world.
