On top of that, I'm trying to work on my rough draft for a research paper, and the ******** thing keeps opening other documents and running my virus scan on it's own, and runnign slowly and blah. Besides that, people keep IMing me and slowing my computer down more, even though I say I can't talk. I'm waiting for someone to come online, so I can't get off, and being hidden won't work, and the away message slows my computer down more.
and on top of THAT my mother keeps coming in and complaining about the most random things, then stomping off melodramatically when I don't answer her the way she wants.
Ex: "Sean, you've got to take shorter showers in the mornign! You're waking up our downstairs neighbor, wasting Earth's precious water, and making mildew on the shower walls!"
"Mom, I take 20 minute showers. Our neighbor is up at 5 in the mornign anyway for work, I'm not wasting water if I'm using it, and showers always cause mildew, no matter how long you're in them."
"You know what, fine! You can either comply with me, or defy me! Hmph!"
At this point she stomps out of the room, and closes the door, and says something passive agressive under her breath. It's like living with another teenager.
Ugh. Thanks for taking the time to read my insanely obnoxious vent.

There are days like that. Sorry yours is so crappy. 20 minutes doesn't seem like an excessively long shower to me, by the way. That's about average for me.

I take at least 20-30 minutes in the shower.... my mom and I get along pretty good...
*hugs* Everyone has bad days...and this makes me glad I didn't try maplestory.
