Hi all.

As the tittle says, ive been in this constant state of being lost ever since i can remember.

Its like my life has been on autopilot never knowing where to go and always wondering without a purpose.

Ever since i got into the spiritual path of self awareness, that feeling of being lost has become so much stronger.

Sometimes i wish to go back to the way things were before i started along my current path.

So fellow guilders, so any of you feel lost at times and what are some tricks that you have learned to find the way.

Well why do you want to go back to how things were? Is it because you feel so lost now? If so, what's keeping you from going back?

This is some of the stuff I ask myself. I ask "What's missing? What is it that I'm looking for?"

Or sometimes before I even realize that I've been feeling lost I get the spiritual book thrown at my head. cat_xd

Well the reason why i want to go back is because things were so much simpler then not realizing the things that i know now. The thing thats preventing me from going back to the way things were is that i realize so much and i clearly dont want to go back to the way things were.

Sometimes i want to go back but more of the time i want to progress further but dont know how.

I don't know if its because I just woke up and I'm still a bit groggy but I'm not really catching what you're trying to say.

To me, what you're saying is flat out "I just don't want to go back." Which is fine. But why? You said its because of what you know now. Ok. What things do you know now that you didn't know then? Why are those the things keeping you where you are?

Guess ya missunderstood me or i wasnt being clear enough.

The things that i know now are the sixth sense about stuff that i didnt have before along with the stuff i know about myself is why i cant go back because id rather not loose that.

As for now, i have no idea where to go since my awakening and thats why im feeling lost.

Why would going back cause you to loose that? What would you be going back to?

Sometimes understanding where you're coming from can help you know where to go next.

Sometimes people are overwhelmed when they open their own doors of perception. It sounds as if you're getting a little of that. The only way back, really, is to nail those doors closed and pretend it never happened - but even then, that seldom works as people think it will. You really can't go back once you've opened that part of yourself. It may well have been simpler before hand, but one of the joys of adult life is learning to live with the consequences of our actions. You don't seem like you really want to go back, anyway.

You may feel directionless now, but you'll find a way. You don't have to rush off in any one direction at this point, tilting windmills like Don Quixote. Center yourself. Practice. Focus on honing whatever skills or abilities you've developed. pay attention to the world(s) around you, and take it one day at a time. If you're tired of feeling as if you're looking inward instead of out, practice looking at the world around you in a different way. I'm sure you'll figure out where you need to be or what you need to be doing in the future, but it's ok to take your time.
