Bacha nodded gratefully. She seemed to be out of the loop here about something. "What are we looking for?" Was it a surprise inspection? The girl looked guiltily at her bunk area. It was currently a disaster. "I was going to clean up right after my bath."

The teen took a careful look around the barracks. Was there anything out of place? She went over to some tables and started looking through the things on them. Without knowing what exactly she was looking for, the girl took her time to examine each item. Did that belong to a candidate? Yes probably.

So did that. She moved some clutter that candidates always seemed to gather. Reaching out she noticed a piece of leather that looked like it was hiding something under it. Bacha moved it to reveal something that was certainly egged-shaped, but in colors she'd never seen before. She stared at the brown, red, and green egg baffled for a moment.
"What the...?" Picking it up out of curiosity she found it was warm. Warm like a living egg. "Lavi? I think I found...."
