This entire arrangement was foolish. Settle a bet between past rivals? What kind of sense did that make? The irritation was painted on Luka's face and he didn't bother to hide it. So of course when he stepped out into the courtyard he held that scowl. However, seeing his cousin did bring a bit of a smile to his face. It had been a little while since they'd seen each other last. At the very least it was somewhat nice out today. A blue sky with few clouds and the courtyard itself was meant for leisure. It was a shame it would be torn asunder shortly.
There was that look in Eren's eye. The willingness and desire to fight. To be honest, his sister Lili had that look most of the time. Luka personally didn't like conflicts like this, but the eldest Nipal was far from a pushover. He specialized in his customized firearms. Or as he called them,
Twin Howlers. Capable of powerful fire and decent destruction potential. To wield such weapons however, Luka was required to learn a martial art called, Gun-kata. Using the momentum of the recoil to sweep into the next attack and use that to launch into his following attack. It was almost like a dance if one observed the style. Committing to its study, Luka was a force to be reckoned with. Though, he did have to wear braces on his arms so that he did not harm himself. That combined with gun kata made for a good combination.
However, his father did not approve of his eldest learning to use firearms but...well this wasn't his life now was it? From within, he felt Volt pulse in preparation for the battle and took a breath.
"Excited? Hard to be excited when my victory is already assured" he responded before slipping his weapons out of their back holsters. He swept his left leg back and lifted his left hand holding the weapon bringing it level with his cheek. The other was held by his knee. A very interesting style to say the least.
