AppearanceA bit on the short side, Kal won't get taller than 5'1" when she's older. Short black "mane" like hair is on the fluffy side, out of which poke a pair of rear-sweeping silver antlers. Her skin is lightly tanned due to her constantly playing outside. Peppering her face and arms are silver scales of varying sizes. Kal's androgynous appearance has thrown more than one person into confusion.
ClothingTemple attire, slightly altered for her active lifestyle, and a tad on the "too large for her" side. Usually it is black, silver, and white with some teal accents.
LikesTorq, the fae dragon-like creature her father brought back as a gift on one of his trips. Even if Torq is spirited and can be a bit nippy around strangers... Watch those fingers!
Thunderstorms & rainstorms make her... giddy.
DislikesHeat & humidity. Makes her wilt & prone to being cranky, lethargic, and miserable. Extreme cold. Makes her really lethargic and miserable.
PersonalityKal hides how she really feels beneath a cheerful exterior. She could be an emotional wreck inside, yet others wouldn't have a clue unless they knew her well enough to see past the emotional mask she wears. Keeping her emotions bottled up does tend to have... explosive results when she can't keep them in check any longer. This leads to unpleasant and difficult situations.
Due to her ambiguous gender appearance, Kal is friends easily with both genders. However, when either gender starts to show any feelings that are stronger than friendship... she does a "dodge/deflect" maneuver and tries to ignore what just happened. Romantic situations make her uneasy. This is possibly due to jokes/pranks played on her by other kids when she was younger; some harmless, others cruel. Kal has also witnessed the few very close friends she has being hurt by the actions of others. Due to this, she has issues trusting people to a certain extent. While she can't trust others, she can be trusted. She has a high sense of honor & loyalty ingrained into her personality due to how she was brought up. If she feels indebted to someone, she'll try to find a way to pay them back. If she sees someone visibly upset, she'll try to cheer them up. If there is someone being bullied, she'll try to stick up for them.
