For me, Facebook and Gaia are separate things. I use them for different purposes, so a Facebook group would be pointless and probably dead.

Besides all it would be is another place to talk to guild members, and I don't see what it would add to the guild.

It would come down to what are your reasons for a facebook page are, do you have something that cannot be accomplished on gaia through forums? Will you be doing contest which may subject you to clarifying the rules more then if you just posted that in your guild. Are you an advice guild trying to expand to helping more people?

Based on gaia's Terms of Service I would probably be very careful with what I do for the guild outside of gaia, since you are also limited by that.

You may be in violation of privacy policies as well. I think you should inquire gaia staff on this.
