Renegade leans against the wall inside the base where he grew up, those fire-red eyes looking over the scattered and battered pillows, the place where his siblings (?) played as pups. Idly gnawing at a piece of jerked meat of mysterious origins, he waits for Flashover to arrive, having thought of something in his recons through the remains of the city and its rebuilt Tower. Having watched Wily's army on their patrols. A broken half of a pair of binoculars hangs from a scrounged thong around his neck, functioning as a telescope when he needs it. Renegade has become quite the little 'engineer', scrounging pieces and tinkering with them until he can make something functional from the scraps. A true guerilla.

The former pups were free to come and go as they pleased these days. Flashover had expected they would leave, perhaps even set up their own pockets of rebellion around the city. However they were always free to return to his base, whether they choose to stay there permanently or just needed a place to hide out for a bit. His door was open to any who had an interest in freeing the City.

It wasn't that long of a wait before Flashover made his way the door, eyes quickly finding the other Audio leaning against the wall.

"Hello there Renegade."
He nodded to the other, moving to take up a closer position to the other.
"Did you need something?"

Renegade lifts his chin towards Flashover in silent greeting. Finishing up his bit of meat, she shrugs and shakes his head slightly, "Not so much something I need as something I thought of. Well, a few things I thought of, really."

He pushes off the wall and glances towards the doorway before looking back to his mentor/surrogate father, "First, I think if we can capture a bot or two from the army, I can figure out a way to tap into their power source, get some lights and such up and running again. Maybe start powering up some of the older pumps in the city, provide clean water. The better the citizens view us, the more likely they are to join us. Free electric, free heat, free water..."

He pauses to gauge Flashover's reaction before forging ahead with the second part of his idea, "I also think if we can get one of those damn flying cambot patrollers... I -think- I can reprogram it. We can get a spy in their ranks."

Flashover felt a sense of pride welling up in him. Sure, he had been...fairly awkward around them when they were puppies. He really had no idea how to deal with pups and to be fair most of his attention was focused on making sure no one discovered them. This City really was a hellhole at times.

But they had really grown into their own, and to have one here talking tactics with him made the older Audio grin a bit. This he could relate to, and it was always nice having allies. The smoky Audio was silent a moment, thinking over what the other was presenting to him.

"Would you need one of the bots functioning, or merely their parts? I am sure parts would be...easy enough to scavenge in the older areas of the City..capturing a functioning one could be more of a challenge. You would also need to be wary of any sort of tracking device they have installed on them."

Wily was a tricky b*****d after all.

"I am all for anything that gets the Citizens on our side, that's for sure. As for a cambot...yes. I'll keep an eye out on an opportunity to nab one."

Honestly...Flashover had a sneaking suspicion Wily's Tower had -some- way of discovering if the bots had been tampered with. But hey, it didn't hurt to try. At the very least it would send a message that there were members of the City who -could- and definitely would mess with their robot oppressors.

Ren would likely grin back, if his face weren't set into a permanent scowl, like he's been sucking lemons. Poor Audio was just born bitter. Scratching behind one of his ears, he shrugs, "We would need functioning power sources. Other parts might be useful if we can scrounge enough. Hell, if we can rip some of their weaponry out and get it functioning, that would be a huge plus for us."

He runs his tongue over his teeth in contemplation before shrugging, "I don't think we would need to keep a functioning bot so long as we can get the power source up and running. And there's plenty of scrap and salvage all over the ruins to reverse engineer stuff with. Then we can just... scrounge the parts we need and leave the bot, and its tracker, right where it fell."

Hrm...weaponry. Now there was a good idea.
"Sounds good. I'll keep an eye out for any opportunities to glean weaponry from fallen bots. Not sure how much I can pull beyond your basic sniper bots guns but...anything will help. If only we could get our paws on the higher ups..."

What he wouldn't give to be able to rip some weaponry off the Masters. Now that would be an advantage.

Though..hrm. Trackers.....no. He'd file that idea away for later. For now he'd focus on Ren's ideas.

Ren shrugs slightly and glances aside at Flash, "Any weapons are better than no weapons. We can teach other Audio how to use them. How to protect themselves. We have to make the Rebellion attractive to them, offer them things that Wily and Co. have been stripping from them. Basic rights. Warmth, light, clean food and water."

The younger Audio wouldn't be opposed to ripping pieces off the Masters either, its one of his more favored fantasies.

"Anything we can pull from the bots, we should. If we can gather enough, I might even be able to jerry-rig us an EMP as a last resort."

"Alright...I know a few places bots have gone down. I'll check those over and work on downing new bots to get more parts."

Flashover produced a small pad of paper from his pocket. A few notes were jotted down, mostly about what pieces might be useful to pull and where would be safe to stash them so Ren could come take a look. That done, he tucked the pad of paper and it's pencil away.
