Katarina and Anna West strolled down the hallway until they reached the last room of the dorm. It took about two and a half years but the West sisters were finally being assigned a partner. Despite their constant arguing the West sisters actually worked very well with each other. The sisters were such a devastating pair that they gained the nickname DWMA's Dynamic Duo, among the students and staff.

Katarina reached into her designer purse and retrieved a letter. She reviewed the letter and looked at the door in front of her.

"Room 3G looks like this is the place. I must admit I am rather excited to see who is behind this door." Katarina stated.

"Can you believe it sis we are finally getting a partner. I bet he's super awesome. He's probably built like a tank but cute like a model. Oh and he probably has a pet wolf and long silver hair and a scar." Anna said eagerly.

"Really Anna." Katarina said followed by a sigh. "Just remember that you are a reflection of both of us, so try and not embarrass us ok." Kat said in dignified tone.

Anna shot her sister a glare. "What are you trying to say Kat?"

"I believe I made myself clear the first time. Please don't make me reiterate?"

"Are you calling me dumb Kat?" Anna said with a voice full of anger.

" Precisely."

"Come here I'm going to pound you Kat."

"Get off of me man hands." Katarina yelled.

While the two sisters bickered Violet should have been able to hear their entire conversation from the other side of the door. The constant fighting and shouting eventually died down, after an abrupt scream. Once the commotion ended the door to the dorm room slowly opened. Anna stepped into the room, while holding her sister in a tight headlock. Anna immediately spotted Violet and smiled.

"Hi there." Anna said cheerfully. " I'm Anna, this is my sister Kat and I believe you are our partner."

Katarina freed herself from her sister's headlock and immediately began fixing her hair. Kat wanted nothing more than to encase her sister into a block of ice but she did not want to embarrass herself in front of her new partner. Unlike Anna, Kat was well mannered and tried to uphold a dignified image in front of others. Kat took a deep breath and bottled her rage for the time being. When the woman, who nervously introduced herself as Violet, extended her hand Kat accepted it.

"Well it is a pleasure to finally meet you Violet. " Kat said in a pleasant voice.

Katarina walked towards the far bed and set her purse in front of it , which left the middle bed for Anna. Kat sat on the edge of the bed and stared at Violet. Kat had already sensed the nervousness within Violet when she spoke. Kat wanted her partner to feel comfortable around her. Kat just prayed that Anna wouldn't say anything stupid to scare off their new partner.

"I'm fine with sleeping arrangement. Oh and by the way, Kat is actually a nickname that Anna came up with. My name is Katarina but I'm fine with you calling me Kat." She said in a friendly, almost playful tone. " So Violet is this your first year at the Dwma?"

While Katarina attempted to break the ice with light conversation, Anna took another approach. Anna approached Violet and slung her arm on top of her shoulder as if the two were old friends. Anna stared at Violet with a huge smile plastered on her face.

"Hey loosen up Violet you look stiff. I hope you know how lucky of a meister you are. You just hit the weapon jackpot. My sister and I are known as the Dwma's Dynamic Duo. We are the strongest pair that this school has ever seen. We are so awesome that we have been taking on missions without a meister for nearly two and a half years now. Oh man you have to see us in action. Kat and I pull off some AWSOME combo moves oh and then there are the finisher moves oh and the." Anna continued to boast until Katarina interrupted.

"What my enthusiastic sister is trying to say; is that we are happy to be a trio now. I am sure you have several questions brewing in your head. Feel free to ask us anything at all Violet. You are the leader after all.."

"Way to butt in Kat. My sister can be rude at times but you will get use to it Violet."

"Excuse me? Did you just call me rude Miss. Fat Hands?"

"Hey! Who the hell are you calling Fat Hands Kat?" Anna said with anger flaring in her voice.

The West sisters glared at each other. It appeared as if another argument was going to break out. Even though the two girls fought like bitter rivals the pair loved each other. Sadly the bickering was something that Violet would have to live with.

Just as the West sisters were about to come to blows, Violet managed to diffuse the situation. The two girls pouted and faced away from each other momentarily. Anna walked away from Violet and jumped onto the middle bed, which was her bed by default. Anna stared at the ceiling as if she was lost in thought.

"So you want to know about us ? Well I guess we should cover the basics. Anna do you mind if I start?" Katarina asked.

"Go for it sis." Anna chimed in.

Katarina stood up from the bed and walked to the nearest window the examine the view. She crossed her arms, while resting her elbows in her palms. She turned around and stared at Violet, who looked as if she could have used an hour or two of rest. Anna on the other hand remained on the lost in her own thoughts.

"Well as you know Anna and I are both sisters. We are also weapons but not the typical pair of weapons you would expect."

Katarina walked towards her sister. Without any sort of command, Anna immediately raised one of her arms into the air. Katarina placed her hand into her sister's hand. The two's fingers locked together and a bright light formed. When the light vanished a golden appeared on the arms of both sisters. A seemingly ordinary steel chain, which was connected to the bracelets, tethered the two sisters together. As Kat walked away from her sister, additional links magically formed on the chain.

"Anna and I join as one when we fight. We link to each other by this chain which is actually created from our souls. Along as we are still breathing this chain of ours cannot be broken." Kat said while pulling on the chain. " Anna and I are able to change into two different weapon forms. One form being our main weapon and the other form being our sub-weapon. You should know that Anna and I are unable to assume our main weapon forms at the same time. While one of us are in our main form the other remains idle in the sub form. However we can both be in our sub mode at the same time. Oh I almost forgot to mention that the two of us are also elemental based weapons. Anna is able to change into a battle axe capable of conjuring flames. I on the other hand take the form of the most majestic and elegant bow you will ever see and I am capable of manipulating and controlling the element of ice." Kat said proudly.

Anna rolled on her side and watched Kat. She rolled her eyes and stuck out her tongue, after hearing Kat's boast. Anna rested her cheek in her palm and continued the conversation.

"What the princess failed to mention was that our sub forms are a set of daggers. Now I'm not going to lie to you Violet. We are a difficult set of weapons to wield." Anna said bluntly. "Not only do you have to sync with both of our wavelengths, but you have to be able to use both of us equally. Bows can be difficult and I'm heavy simply put. You have to be able to change your fighting style and tactics in an instant if you hope to use us effectively. We may be a hard set of weapons to master but we are defiantly a strong pair. Because." .

"I'm the brains." Katarina interrupted.

"And I'm the muscle." Anna stated.

"And together we are unbeatable." Both sister stated.
