No. She didn't know this. She didn't know a world where her parents fought, or where her sister cried... It was abnormal and not right. At once tears started to come down her face as well. It was just to much for her. She couldn't handle all this anger and sadness. She tugged at her sisters hand, they needed to move away. She could only imagine how much worse it would get if they caught there.

"I don't mean that they actually kill someone!" he snapped back, frustrated at her refusal to understand, and to see everything he said as worse than it was. "I meant..." he explained, trying to be as clear as possible. He was feeling tired. He wanted this whole thing to be done and over with. He was feeling beyond tired.
He was exhausted.
From his legs to his very core. He leaned against his staff, trying to not shake or collapse. He wasn't going to collapse. Not when he could have the last word.
"I meant that they would have taken the healer's attention away from his patients, which could have killed a patient. That is how they would have been responsible. Don't twist what I say." he growled, but he was running out of steam.
"Don't..." he wavered, visibly wobbling on his staff. For a moment, his eyes drooped, and he felt dizzy. He was tired, so tired. Only one battle and already he was just... done... with this fight. He wanted to sleep. He wanted to rest. He stumbled, trying to right himself.
He couldn't even remember what he'd been doing...

Ikkio looked away from the scene, missing her father's stumble. She let her hand be tugged, and followed suit, her sister dragging her away. She'd seen enough... she didn't want to see more. She wanted to leave this place and run, and run and run and run until she could run no more. She squeezed her sisters hand tightly.
"Ikuri..." she whispered, but she couldn't figure out what to say next. She just squeezed her sister's hand and glanced uneasily behind her.

Wrong, he was still all wrong. He looked shaky but that wasn't going to help his cause. Just because he didn't feel good didn't mean he would win this one. "Yes, but I think they would have wanted to live also. If it came down to them being responsible for a death or them being dead themselves, I think they rather live." she said with her hands on her hips.
He started to talk again, but stopped. Really? He better not be faking this to gain her sympathy. It wasn't going to work. She just fought in a war, she was tired too, and you didn't see her stumbling. She was still standing.
She reached out for him, not wanting to let him fall. She was mad at him, and unsure about how she felt towards him at the same time. However he was her husband, and she wasn't going to let him fall and hurt himself.

Ikuri was done, and the fact that Ikkio was letting Ikuri pull her away meant that her twin sister was done as well. They were all done with the whole thing. That was good, they needed to be done, needed to get away from the world that wasn't theirs.
"Let's go lay down where mommy said... That way she doesn't worry about where we are..." she said through the tears falling down her face. Yes they would go lay down, Ikuri wanted to cuddle with her sister like they did when they were really little. That would make it all better.

Biroki, in his entire life, had never faked a faint, or an episode of nausea, or anything. He had often wished he had.
"Everybody would rather live, Zuri. Even you." he managed to retort. He closed his eyes briefly, leaning on his staff and, incidentally, on her.
He was exhausted. Empty. Spent. He took deep breaths, trying to stabilize himself.
"It's... been a long day." he murmured, drawing away. He wsn't sure how he felt, either.

Ikkio nodded. That was for the best. Mommy shouldn't know. Mommy couldn't know. She wanted to lie down too, maybe make up with her sister.
Ikkio had done things to her sister, and she was surprised that Ikuri still liked her. She was, though, not smart like Ikkio - that was Kio's excuse for why she could get away with what she did. Normally, she didn't care - it was just something to laugh at, something to exploit... but today Kio was grateful for that fact.
She needed Ikuri. She needed a cuddle.
She hugged Ikuri's arm as, for once, she let Ikuri be the leader. "Okay." she said, quietly.

Zuri just rolled her eyes. He was spent. "Come on." and with that she took Biroki to a tent where he would be able to relax. She was done with this, and for the moment she was done with him.
Once she was sure that her husband was safe she went to check on the girls. If they were fine she would go on a walk, she had a lot to think about.

Ikuri smiled a weak smile to her sister. This was different for her also, but unlike the other changes in her life today this was one that she liked.
Ikuri lead them to an area where they could lay down and relax and pulled Ikkio towards her. "Maybe this will be just a nightmare..." she said with a yawn. The whole ordeal had left her tired, more so than she had realized.
