I must say one thing first about season 4... Nowhere NEAR as bad as the fear-mongerers were predicting - for those whom may not yet have seen the series allow me to use the appropriate tag:

The princess twilight sparkle thing primarily - like half the Bring community FREAKED at the end of season 3 - while it certainly has made a few things different (for example breaking up the "two of each kind" subtheme they previously had going) I haven't found it to subtract any from the viewing of the show.

I had called twilight becoming an alicorn early into season two so I got pretty used to the idea.

I personally found the opener to season four well done I liked the vines, discord was funny and everyone always hashes on about how they use the elements to solve every problem so they gave em up.

I have also been able to call every key episode XD well after rarity takes Manehatton
