Extra Info: [ Diana is blind, and has been since she was 9. Her mother often reads and verbally 'shows' Diana the games she plays. This being stated her friend system was based purely upon her mothers interactions. She also has a seeing eye dog Bravo. She wears bandages over her eyes because she likes to keep them open, but doesn't want to 'stare' at anyone. ]

Personality
[ Diana is a very reserved girl since her accident, but she still has quite the bubbly personality. Though she doesn't show it often, she is rather happy go lucky despite what life handed her. In game, her bubbly personality is what will shine through, as well as her obvious social awkwardness since everything will be so different. ]
Appearance
[ Beneath the bandages she wears constantly, her eyes have a slash that goes from left to right across the bridge of her nose, crossing over both eyes and stopping short of her temples.
Her seeing eye dog is very playful, and often accidentally breaks his cool collected demeanor and takes Diana to the strangest of places, only to return to serious mode and generally get her where she needs to be in a timely fashion. ]
History
[ Diana was a bubbly, excitable girl from a wealthy family in Ireland, and often ran about the house playing her pokemon games when she was younger. She was often found on pokemon sites where she chatted with a number of people all hours of the day and night. She was home school because her parents didn't trust public schooling, but would go on field trips with other families in the area. Her life was pretty perfect until she was about 9 years old. She went out playing and ran into an undesirable group of people. They beat her up and stole most of her possessions that she had on hand, which was a couple game systems and healthy allowance. They slashed her face with a knife, across the eyes, causing her to scream out in pain and panick when she was too frightened to before. Police interviened shortly after and she was taken to the hospital.
Diana made a full recovery, however, the slash across her eyes had caused permanent damage. The slash was scarred to her face and she could no longer see. Her once beautiful blue eyes were now icy and glazed over. She tried to keep them closed, but was unable to, and after one too many people stated she was staring at them, she decided a blindfold was best, and covered her eyes with one everywhere she went.
When she was ten, after returning home from the hospital, she got Bravo, her seeing eye dog. She was thrilled to have to dog around, and the only damper she saw now was that she couldn't play her games anymore. Well, her mother would have none of that, and since she already was a stay at home parent, she decided to take up the job of helping her daughter play the games she had always enjoyed. She was a childrens book author, so describing things was never really an issue for her mother. However, the pokemon universe certainly gave her a bit of trouble in the description area.
Diana continued home schooling, learned braille, and continued to keep up her connections with her friends online, though she made a point to tell her mother not to inform them of her blindness, or let them give her skype calls. She often used her cellphone to speak to one or two of her pokemon friends, however, and was never seen without it. She finished her high school degree when she was 16, and immediately began college courses, focusing in mathematics. Four years passed and she was graduating.
In the end, a more fitting graduation gift couldn't have been concocted. She received her letter to go to the Nintendo headquarters shortly before her 21st birthday, and nearly hugged her parents to death as a result. She'd been preparing and contemplating the day ever since the letter arrived, and now, she was on her way to meet some of the very people she'd been friends with so long to get a chance of a lifetime. Her only worry was their possible reactions when they realized she was blind.
