Personality:
Eve has always been a brash and impatient girl. She isn't one to be kept waiting, and her temper is somewhat legendary. Often speaking from her heart instead of her mind, she usually comes across as blunt, rude, and, at times, reckless. Evie isn't afraid to risk her life for her beliefs and is as stubborn as a bull. Her pride is her downfall and having it bruised only puts her in an even fouler mood. She is stand offish due to her independence; if there is one thing that peeves her more than ever, it's having to rely on someone else. After all, why have someone do something you can just do yourself? Regardless of this condescending nature of hers, she is quite kind and affectionate to those she feels most comfortable around--even with her troublesome attitude.
Biography:
Eve lacks a pathetic back story; she's not an orphan, misfit, or poor child. She's the absolute antithesis to each. Born in the posh English countryside, high standards were set upon her the very day of her birth. The second to last child of four, Evie was the only girl and one of the middle children. But despite contrary belief that all middle children are miserable, she was quite content with her spoiled life as a young debutante. Both her parents were wealthy exorcists who frequented the globe on missions and began training their daughter to join the business at the ripe age of eight. Her mother, a knight from Bristol, and her father, a tamer from Germany, were quite pleased to find how nicely their daughter fared. Her parents both came from famed exorcist blood lines, but her father, as a member of the Hirsch family, gave them exceptional prestige.
But her training was never easy; she did, after all, have to compete with her older brother, Oliver, as well as live up to the memory of her eldest brother, Tomas, who died in battle quite valiantly. Evie inherited his weapons and took on the class Dragoon with flying colors. Her excellent adaptation led her to gain a rather large ego over the years, which only grew when she took on the doctor meister as well. By the time she was twelve, her parents were already taking her out on simple missions, to watch and learn and, sometimes, to practice.
Evie received no reprieves though. Her parents were always pushing her to try harder and practice longer. The only time she got the chance to act like a girl her age instead of a gallant solider awaiting her king's command was during daytime excursions and debutante parties. However, her time there never lasted long, as she had training and studying to complete, and would only stay an hour at the least. Her parents, though they were quite fond of their daughter and delighted in her abilities, shipped her off to Cross Academy so she may hone her skills, much to her protests.
