So as many of you have been wanting, and I actually have been planning to do for some time now, I am stepping down from being Leader of Team Aqua, and handing leadership over to Maddy. I know many of you think I should have done this sooner, and for the most part, I agree. The reason I waited so long is that I wanted to verify that this revival had staying power. Maddy has met that challenge, and after a successful story arc, and then some.
Over the past couple years, I've just simply lost time to give Aqua the attention that is required. It was relatively easy in high school, but in college I was able to just do bare minimum. Which even then wasn't the greatest position for me to lead. After I graduated and entered the real world, (and got married), I just did have the time or energy to restart Aqua's activity. And while I've seen Aqua more active in the past, Maddy is now far more capable of leading Aqua to consistent activity than I am.
It's been fun, and though I'm not leader anymore... Maddy has decided to make me Co-Leader, so I'm not gone.
