Genith
Age: 1 month
Color: Blue
Size: Miniature (Ruth-esq)
Personality: Great things do come in small packages! What Genith lacks in size, he more than makes up for it in other areas. This blue will do whatever needs to be done to please his rider. His rider is the one thing that matters most to him. With his rider being his main focus, Genith dislikes being disturbed by others. For the most part he is an amiable sort of dragon, and likes to spend afternoons with his rider just lazing or having fun in the sun.
Genith holds high value on promises made to him; especially those from his rider. Having a promise broken will make this blue rather irritated. When he gets irritated, he gets snippy and gives everyone the cold shoulder. He’ll often spend the rest of the day curled up in his weyr sulking. His rider will have to learn not to make promises he can't keep.
This blue sometimes gets his mind set on doing something his rider asked, and he will become determined to provide to the point of stubbornness. He will do this or die trying! Should his rider end up changing his mind it could make Genith dig in his heels about fulfilling the first desire over the second. These two stubborn males will butt heads over what his rider really wants. His rider will need to be sure he doesn't ask the impossible of this blue; arguments between this pair can be explosive. Arguments with his rider trying to change his mind could take all afternoon to resolve, nor will they be quiet affairs.
Everyone else will find this dragon exasperating at the best of times. Genith has a habit of not following anything less than direct and exact order from anyone less than his rider. (And everyone else IS less than His.) There is a highly cunning mind behind this blue, which he uses to the exploitation of others. Be careful what you ask of him, for Genith tends to deliver but never in the way intended. This is particularly useful when dealing with his enemy the Wicked Witch, who wishes to use him for her own purposes.
Genith is one of the most agile of his color. Wing tip turns will never be a problem for him, though his rider will have to be aware of limitations so he doesn’t over-exert himself. They will be a pair that excels in aerial acrobatics.
