Personality: Jay is a sorta jokey guy, but normally takes a lot of things seriously. He's unafraid of everything, being willing to voice his opinion to anyone and always up to fight anything. He, alas, has depression due to recent events, but hides it well. He also has anger issues, almost explosively, but he keeps it under control well. In combat, unleashing said anger makes him dangerous and unpredictable. He's an honourable guy, but take advantage of that at your own peril.
Biography: Jay knew of his heritage, but unlike some, if not all hybrids, he was raised in Gehenna by his mother, a cruel warlord of a demonness. How such a thing came to be was hard to comprehend, even for him, and in the end he grew tired of fighting to survive his training and keeping control of his own unique cyan electrokinesis (Can I have electrokinesis?). Only when he tried to escape, running from his home, chased by demons until he found the Gehenna Gate by pure luck over 1 month and enter Assiah, did he re-contemplate his choice.
Along with having to avoid the Order as much as possible, he had to learn to control his demonic power and anger, as well as having to live alongside normal humans, so as not to be found and killed. Starting originally in Britain and picking up their traditions and language, he moved on to other countries by way of hitch-hiking - even if the driver didn't know. He eventually found a blacksmith, calling himself Hephaestus, in Greece who was capable of crafting a weapon that could wield his power, and also learned enough through being his apprentice to forge himself a handgun capable of unleashing his demonic wrath. After a year of work, Hephaestus relinquished him and told him to take a paths that the gods of Greece would be able to take note of for. To this day, Jay doesn't know if he's actually the God of blacksmiths or just a poser.
He continued on his unaimed journey, this time with a purpose - to destroy the kind who had raised him. After all, he had seen their will to hurt their own kind.
They had an evil desire inside which had to end.
The True Cross Order found him after an attempted exorcism on a priest in east Russia went south - literally, all the way to Japan. They found the priest and the boy, panting heavily and with a cheeky grin that said, 'Yup. I have no idea what I did, but I did it. Go home.'
And that is where the story picks off...
