Something was clearly bothering Pages. Boi wasn't sure if asking the question now was going to just make matters worse. Worrying his lower lip, he finally decided to ask. Pages seemed to perk at a question. It would be fine.
"Well, your tail reacts how you react, right? Like when you get perky, it perks up, or when you're relaxed it relaxes too," Boi looked from Pages to Pages tail and then back to Pages, "Does your tail have... Its own mind? Its kind of cute, no offense."
Honestly, the tail was adorable. The way it reacted to different moods of Pages was super cool - like a mood ring. Attached to your body. Okay maybe that wouldn't be cool all the time, but Boi found it super neat. He was tempted to pet the tail, but invading someone's space might not be the best way to find or foster friendships.
Speak of a tail... Boi wondered what sort of monster Pages was. Then again, he might not be a monster. Assuming the other man was a monster was a little rude, now that he thought about it. Pages could easily be a demon, or even a reaper. You normally didn't see one with a snake tail, though. A Chimera maybe? Or perhaps a Naga? A Naga was a good option. Those were demons, weren't they?

Patiently waiting for the question to be given, the cobra was equally as attentive as the body it was attached to. And when the question finally did come, it perked up with a look of shock just as AncientPages did. It wasn't often his tail was commented on... so it was rather surprising to have someone ask about it. While he was the only of his kind in his family, there were a few reptile themed members in it, thus it wasn't seen as any sort of spectacle.
After the initial shock, there was a prickling of heat along his tan cheeks, followed by a light, somewhat embarrassed and nervous mixed together, chuckle. Fiddling with his glasses again, he let his gaze lower to the snake that was now looking up to him with rosied cheeks itself, the hood folded in bashfully, "Well.." he began, his fingers trailing along the side of the cobra's hood. It was a faint pale colour instead of what it normally was, probably to match his class.. "I believe it does. While it seems to pick up on my emotions, feelings, and the like, it does act on its own accord in some cases." he hesitated a moment, before smiling a little more, murmuring a soft, "Thank you", to the other boil. He thought it was... cute? that was a first, to be certain. And compliments on things other than his intelligence were something he was not accustomed to. "We do have a connection to one another, but I've not yet been able to determine whether it is simply an extension of my own mind, or if it simply chooses to act out what I do. Or perhaps it is a mixture of the two." there was a clear curiosity and interest taking to his tone as he focused on the reptile, who was now staring up at him with just as equal a gaze.
However... he realized that he might be getting far too engrossed with the numerous possibility's that could be at hand. As he tended to when it came to discovering what was unknown. "My apologies on not providing a definite answer." his gaze trailed to his companion's impressive wings, now having him curious as to what Boi might be back in their own world. However his cobra did give a little bow of its head in respectful apology to his guildmate. "I've a few family members who are winged such as yourself. Very impressive appendages, I must say." he complimented.
