She supposed he had a point, though he would know better than her. Magic had its dark side as well, her and her friends had seen a bit of that. Though the thought crossed her mind of just how Twilight would react to that. A small smile tickled her lips as she mused over how her friend would re act. At least until he called her dear lady.
"You are very right... I wouldn't have met any of my friends if I hadn't fell from Cloudsdale that day. Nor discovered all these friends." she smiled, holding her hand out to the sky, to the bird, to nature around her. That day she got her cutie mark burning brightly as ever in her heart and her mind.
Laughing softly, she put her hand to her face in attempts to hide from his praise. "All animals can be easy when you know how to handle them properly. That one just needed a bit of a stern talking too before he realized his mistakes." she grinned, ears pricking at his next question. "Yes I do, she is one of my best friends! Though...." she paused, now realizing how some things had changed since they had arrived. "I haven't seen her in quite some time. I'm sure she's alright but....." she sighed softly, missing spending time with her friends. She still saw Rarity on occasion, and Pinkie Pie. But Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Twilight.... she hadn't really seen much of them since arriving.
Trying her best to put a smile back on, she looked back up at him. "Well thank you then.... for keeping other's safe. That's very kind of you..."

He blinked at once, fell from Cloudsdale? That sounded terrifying! His wings gave an involuntary shudder at the very idea. Brown eyes cast up before falling back to Fluttershy. Able to fly himself, he was able to clearly imagine falling form that distance. She sounded unaffected by it, and the outcome was clearly a pleasant one.
Following her hand, he smiled and made a small sound of agreement within his throat. This was the type of area he thrived in himself. It was the animals, the wind and the trees. All of it made him feel more at home then surrounded by a crowd.
"Realize and never forget." He had to chuckle as he was assured that was the case. For soft spoken, she had to be a force of her own to make her point to one of his creatures.
They were close then? The previous assumption was pretty spot on then. The move alone was traumatic, friends helped. Tilting his head slightly, he offered what insight he had, "She is a friend of mine as well. Don't worry, she found a library." That brought another chuckle. From what he gathered of the unicorn's personality, it was just the expected place for her.
"There are books in a language no pony here could read. I am pretty sure she lives there now."Knowing her friend was happy and well, maybe that would help.
Bowing at the waist again he says gratefully, "It was my great honor to do so." Straightening back up he looked around and said, "Here, I am looking for the same chance." There was a place for him, or a place he could make for himself. Where and what was the journey.

S"I don't think I could ever forget." she smiled, closing her eyes and laughing softly. No she'd never forget her memories, her experiences, her past. Nor would she forget her friends, even if they decided to go their own way or do their own things. It also didn't surprise her that Twilight had found a library. Seemed perfectly fitting, as if that's where she belonged. "I am sure Twilight is most happy then. I know how much she loves books. I bet she'll have the new language learned in no time!" she smiled, gently tucking strands of her long pink hair behind her ears.
"I am glad to hear she is doing well, I'm sure they are all very happy whatever it is they are doing." she said, peering back at him again, slightly blushing as he gave her a bow in return for her kind words. "I'm sure you will find your place here, just keep trying!" she nodded softly, folding her hands together at her waist. She knew that if her friends could find new life here, then he could...and hopefully she would as well.

She had to be right, even if the last time he saw Twilight she seemed so distracted. Her world was books, his was the trees and the wild. There were parallels, her friendship with Fluttershy and his own. Two nature souls and a remarkable bookworm. "Oh I am certain of that!" He had a laugh in his tone but it wasn't out of mockery.
The whole time they were talking, he was ever watching. From what he could see, she seemed happy herself if lonely. Glancing to the bird again, it didn't seem that she'd have to stay that way for long. There was no way the wild creatures wouldn't flock to her charms and approachability. There is something about being wild that just gravitates to the calm and gentle. The wind to the willow as the saying went.
"I know she'd be thrilled to know her friend is happy as well." With the gentle prod of his own, the stallion fell into silence for a short while. Dark ears rotated to the sounds of nature all the while he mused on the soft blush against her gentle yellow coat blended so well with her mane.
Bolstered by her encouragement, he gave her a warm smile saying, "I believe it when you say it! Thank you." Touching his left shoulder with his right palm, arm against his body in his own way of showing gratitude. Gesture might be old fashioned or obscure by now, but it didn't stop him from meaning them all the same.
She was right, he'd eventually find his own place. There was no giving up that goal. While going for the goal was right, being over eager and placing too much importance probably wasn't the best way. The ways he was with the bird was probably the best representation of that.Fea Line I am sorry for not giving you much to go with sweatdrop

Fluttershy smiled, nodding her head. Twilight would be happy for her friends, that much she knew. "I will have to pop in and visit her then one of these days. The other's as well..." she trailed off, momentarily lost in thoughts and plans. The chirping of the bird brought her back to reality, and she blinked up at Everfree as he thanked her, dipping her head slightly, if not embarrassed at this thanks. "Of course. You are most kind, I don't see how you wont." she smiled, turning back to wave a soft farewell towards the bird as it chittered once or twice then flitted off back towards its home. "Seems the little guy had things to do himself." she laughed softly, watching its little figure slowly disappear into the sky.EvilSilverDragon Thinking this one could probably end soon :3 I think Flutter, or my brain, is running out of things to say for this one XD;

Watching the bird fly off reminded him of what he was doing out today as it was. Running his hand through the back of his hair he felt silly for getting distracted but at the same time very glad for it. "I had completely forgotten." Unwilling to stop himself, he gave her yet another bow as he said, "I meant to visit with the dispatched rangers. Forgive me but I must be off. It was a treasure, meeting you Fluttershy."
Guilt had him by the feathers, he had interrupted her time with the bird and now remembered he had to leave just as the animal had. All he could do was hope she wouldn't be cross with him for doing so. Such rudeness on his part was unacceptable!Fea Line *chuckles* I agree, this rp has run its course, was a lot of fun though!

Blinking up in surprise, Fluttershy hadn't realized the time. "Oh heavens, I must get back to Angel!" she said, fluttering her wings momentarily. When the prince said he too had to go, she felt better knowing she wasn't just rushing out on him either. "Very pleased to have met you Everfree. I hope it isn't too late to find the rangers!" she smiled and nodded, giving him a soft shy wave. With that, she headed past him, stopping to wave one last time before darting back into the tree to tend to her moody bunny who was no doubt upset about missing meal time!
