Magic Earth doesn't have any roads, except for in some of the major cities such as Asmodius or Entei. For a long time the people of Magic Earth have used Zeppelins as their main source of transportation; they are reliable, fast, and in the sky nothing can stop them. With Castayu Del'yir around, its quite difficult to make anything potentially atmosphere damaging, particularly after witnessing what Non-Magic Earth is suffering. There are many people who do not use the public Zeppelins from each of the cities to get around. Sometimes you may require a ship out to sea, or a simple trek. Others have their own all-terrain vehicles, or, if you're lucky, a willing companion to lift you upon their wings or paws.
One kind of transportation that you are very unlikely, and would be lucky, to come across, would be teleportation. Portals themselves are very difficult to create, and even harder yet to keep open and sustain. The most likely form of this you would come across are Portal Scrolls. These are enchanted pieces of parchment which are very sensitive to what you ask them. Either you activate it by opening it before you or you specifically ask you to take it somewhere if it isn't already enchanted to a specific place already. By default these transport the single person that uses it, but if you ask it to open a passage, in a clear voice whilst activating it, it will open a sustained portal for only a minute. So be quick to pass through.
As i said these are extremely rare and expensive, only specialists can create them. On a bigger note are portals themselves that aren't tied to an object. Known sustained portals include one upon Shiyobusa Summit and one at Entei City.
