I've taken a look into fascists in the atheist side, but what about Christian fascists? In the book, American Fascists, it talks of the Christian Right as the new fascists of America with their power to manipulate and control people with their religious beliefs. They'll disregard people's rights to be atheist by enforcing religion into almost everything as if they are shoving it down their throats. Opinions? Comments?

They been doing that for ******** years. Look at the Red Scare when it was thought that commies wouldnt say Under God. Not that any stupid ******** group that wants to control s**t like that is worth anything, its just a matter of which excuse they use.

They arent just disregarding atheists rights. they want to disregard everyone who isnt them rights. National Sunday prayer doesnt mean you get to be a Wiccan, Neo pagan, Buddhist, Laveyan satanist, Catholic, Jew as long as you pray on Sunday. No, it means you ******** pray to their ideal of Yahweh and shut the hell up. Irrelgious atheists who want to ban religions can be just as bad vocally, but these ******** have big money and big politicians backing them, so just a little more on my radar than some stupid little angstheist crying bout a store having a christmas tree in its window. both just as annoying, but one deserves a pop in the mouth while the other deserves to be curb stomped

I'm for finding an alternative name for "The Christian Right" because attaching the word Christian to it is incredibly misleading. I don't know what group is at the strings of it all, but it's basically just Republican extremism that's using the name of Christianity to promote an agenda of control over the kinds of already-vulnerable sort of Christians who aren't encouraged to read the Bible or ask questions of their faith. It's sickening.

It's usually "The Religious Right" encompassing hefty conservative ideals from more than one direction. It's not just attributed to our date and location, either, you could talk all day about Islamic extremism, or the influence Confucianism had on Imperial China.
