Hey guys~ I thought we could use a place to develop plots for our babies and their parents, since it's hard to do three-way pms. :3 So I rigged this up.
I know their certs haven't been dropped yet, but I found their foal uncerts (don't click if you don't want spoilers. =P )

You both should give me an idea of what plotlines you had in mind for George/Kali and babies being kidnapped? :0 I told Maho that I'd be all for having my little one be taken by George and whoever!

It is critical to Kali plots that she not have any of the shells/baskets be with her. She needs to either misplace them, or have them be taken by someone (possibly George) but she can't know where they are or be given a reason to think their disappearance isn't her fault. I would like her to find out they're okay eventually, but not for a while.
I do think she and George might have had a good time together with exploring and things. Maybe after all is said and done they can still be some kind of friends.
ALSO SIBLING PLOTS. ALL OF THEM. I love sibling plots heart
Spoiled my own surprise, but still won't say anything about my baby for the sake of not spoiling anything else.

Okay~ So George will be kidnapping all three, sounds like? Odhrán will be the one who talks him into it (George is really not so bad that he steals children from their mothers, but it's one of those things... Your friends talk you into it and it's only later you realize it was a bad idea. XP ). Ronnie (his name is pronounced O-rawn) was friend-zoned by George, and has now turned into a zealot. He steals things left and right, takes risk, and is generally a little too enthusiastic when it comes to challenges.
The mother figure who goes along with this will be Ilyrana; Illy won't have a lot of confidence in the boys' reasoning, but she'll go along with it for the sake of the children. She and Teague "Flurry" Tiarnán will be the ones doing most of the upbringing while George kind of flounders with his morality. XD He might get a little upset if some of the babies look like Ami because she's his first love and he pretty much abandoned her. So karma's coming to bite him. >.>
Um... I'll explain a little about their culture. George and Ronnie come from a pirate/trader/treasure hunter culture. They steal from kelpis, mers, and outsider seathi, as well as exploring shipwrecks. George is pretty leery of shipwrecks now - he found a body or two in the last one he explored, so now he mostly finds hoards to steal from. Odhrán will rob anything, shipwrecks, angry kelpi, whatever. Illy likes exploring shipwrecks, but mostly she just collects small pretty things (think like Ariel from The Little Mermaid). Flurry doesn't actually steal stuff. He thinks it's wrong and that the dead should be left alone and respected. However, he does serve as lookout and medic so that his friends don't end up dead. He's known as Flurry because of something he did to warrant the name - I haven't figured out what yet, but he acted bravely in the face of danger and his friends gave him the nickname. It stuck; he uses it so often that very few know that his true name is Teague Tiarnán... He believes names have power, so he mostly sticks to Flurry.
Part of their culture is a coming of age ceremony. It's done as soon as the foals grow into young adulthood. Usually they are sent one at a time into a cave that is relatively safe and is guarded by a familiar or some easy-going sealife. They're tasked with finding their first treasure... Usually it's a bit of metal that is bent into a piercing. Fin piercings, nose piercings, and ear piercings are all common; the pain of the piercing itself symbolizes the pain of growing into an adult, while the treasure symbolizes their glimmering new life ahead. George's earring is from his coming of age ceremony. :3
However, there are exceptions - these are young adults that don't want to take part in the traditional ceremony because of the pain, their own beliefs, etc. Odhrán is an example of an exception. He didn't think he would be able to go through with the piercing and he didn't believe in mutilating his body for a symbolic growing-up. Instead, he attempted what is known as The Folly - the alternative to entering a council-sanctioned cave to find a bit of metal for a piercing. In The Folly, young adults are left to their own devices to come up with treasure that they can wear on their body or some such thing. They're not allowed to steal from their parents or any of the seathi from the herd, as that's forbidden all around. They're usually driven to find shipwrecks or rob the neighborhood kelpis, which is why it's called The Folly - only very few return, and the ones that do are seldom successful. Ronnie stole a shinguard from a kelpi and ransomed it for a piece of treasure that was more his size.
Flurry and Illy are both foreigners who were adopted into the society, so neither went through the coming of age ceremony.

I've just gotten my wisdom teeth taken out, so I'll be sitting around and doing nothing but watching Disney movies for the next few days. =P Would you like me to start up a meeting roleplay for him and Kali? Kyrieko For names, we're thinking English/Irish/British Isles for origin, as that's kind of the pattern of the boys' names, the ones who'll be raising them. However, Ilyrana, the third member of their babysitting coalition - her name means "opal" in the Elvish from Evermeet: Island of Elves. :3 So you could do something with that if you'd like? But it's really completely up to you, good luck finding names! =D

Wisdom teeth... ouch. I would enjoy if you wanted to start something, but I am over-busy lately so I am not sure how quickly I could reply. I do promise to try though, while I may be slow I am excited about how freaking perfectly the dice seem to have paired our characters! Kali's rainbows mixed with George's spots really would make at least something of resemblance to Ami in the end.
I am leaning towards Lorcan 'little fierce one' for my baby. Some reason I cannot make the 'c' to do the right sign on my keyboard, it keeps doing this ç instead of á or ó. The 'c' in Lorcan has the mark, I know it has a name but I am tired. Seanán 'little wise person' seems like a fun name too, but I feel like Lorçan is more likely to be what George might endorse for a baby's name xD

For Flurry, it's funny that you mention that - that's actually why I chose his nickname. XD He'll be a very noble little character, and the fact that the anglicized form fit so perfectly with him was fun. I was bouncing names off of one of my friends and she said she'd be secretly calling him Flaithrí. X3 Behindthename is my favorite~~~
But yay, I'm glad you like the herd culture! =D I want them to trade with one of the big herds someday. Get the little people on the map. >3

Oh wow that is an awesome seathi herd plot! That should be lots of fun and I'm more than happy to help out! I think my little terror will probably find all that to be the most awesome herd ever. Or at least one to brag about. I am leaning towards making my baby probably be a little troublemaker in some form. Because clearly, being raised by Dad and his friends will mean awesome adventures, right?! |D

I think it would be hilarious for the 'boys' to try and teach the little ones how to steal treasure. Make daddy proud~ Or, y'know, Illy, Flurry, whoever! I do feel that my little one will probably go through the coming of age ceremony with no issues. Except maybe complaining about the pain for piercing an ear.
As for names... the very first name that came to mind was Misha... but that's German xD; Now I'm considering Teagan which means "beautiful" in Irish or possibly Meriel "shining sea". Any thoughts from you two on the choices? x3;

I wish you HAD offered, he is totally perfect and you're fun too heart I was actually worried about offering for a Seathi because I wasn't certain if Kali was Nixie enough for it. I am so glad she was though!
Names have been driving me crazy, but I think I will take Lorćan. Seanán seems likely to fit his personality better but that won't be until he grows more. I like names to suit what parents would call the baby (hence why my cursedwalker's name is 'lamb', or it was supposed to be but I am starting to think I got it wrong) and enjoy the misnamed adults sometimes.
Kyrie I... I cannot help you :< I don't even know how long it took me pondering to pick my own name. I guess Meriel keeps the 'm' from Misha? I don't know, you pick -flails-

Dawww it's okay, Fallen! I know you and I both struggle with choosing names x3;
I've sat on it for a bit and considered the names and I think I've kind of started to really like Teagan as her name. So... I believe that is the name I'm going to choose for her! ^^
