I have a pretty bad reputation of accidentally settin' things on fire, but today I made my biggest accomplishment when I set the oven on fire. Twas an interestin' experience, and now I realize that havin' a fire extinguisher in your apartment is probably a smart investment. Need to get on that.

That's how I killed my first sim. xd
And I had preheated the oven to make some tater tots. I guess there was somethin' that had dripped from a previous meal to the bottom of the oven, because when I opened it to put the tater tots in, the bottom of the oven was completely on fire. xd

Shut the oven, turn it off
