One of the most intimidating things is joining and on-going, well established, RP. I was wondering if I made a new fantasy one if some people would join in? I have a rough description for the setting written-up.
Basically it's in a magical universe that gets corrupted by the nuclear fall-out of Earth. Good races (Fairy-Kind, Elves, Etc.) fall from power and the evil (Orcs, Goblins, Etc.) rise up and take over the Kingdoms. It's an anything goes kind of deal. The only real thing Off-limits is being human. Tell me what you think! Would you join in?
Also I don't have a name for it! Suggestions would be beautiful.

Here's the rough intro I wrote...
The setting is a cold desolate plain of existence. The humans, damned idiots, wiped themselves out to leave nuclear run-off in our world. The few races deemed evil thrived in the pollution and the good fell. They've become contorted forms of themselves, their appearances the only thing left of their good-nature history.
The Fairy-Kind got hit first. The water went bad and the naiads fell into a maddened stupor. They quit pulling creatures into the water and started firing crudely crafted arrows and weakened bolts of magic from the depths. They struck wood nymphs first. The forests became uninhabitable driving an assortment of creatures into the open. Most of which stayed hidden in the shade of a forest canopy for a reason.
The plants blackened and the animals became bloodthirsty. It was everyone for themselves for a long time. Then the mighty elves fell, their Kingdoms overthrown by Orcs and Goblins. Grung the Savage was crowned King. Mountain trolls took exception to this and flattened all that stood in their way to dominance obeying only their ruthless ruler, Gru-shok. Banshees left the marshes and Wraiths terrorized man, woman, and child. Chaos had truly been achieved.
The few remaining sane decided to ignore the old treaties and formed alliances with any who'd accept. They stayed together, an assorted variety of races, warding off the evils that threaten to end their existence. They've established a new society from the rubble. They're rebuilding. They're surviving. This is where the brave will strive. This is where Heroes will be created, their names to forever echo through the halls of their ancestors. This is where we begin.

It seems like a good idea, but it might need some work. I'm a tiny bit confused about what the time setting was precisely before this fall out. Has any technology survived? How prevalent were the mythical creatures prior to the nuclear strikes? Were the humans unaware of the mythical beings, or were they aware? Why have only the humans been completely wiped out, without any of the rest of these races being affected beyond a general corruption?
You've definitely got a good start here! XD I'm just way too interested in the general past of your setting, I suppose, and the logic behind things.

XD I'm just way too interested in the general past of your setting, I suppose, and the logic behind things. It's in a separate world that Humans weren't a part of. The idea is, the nuclear attack was so large it plagued other-worlds. As for technology, it's happened in the future, but the creatures have magic, so they could possibly be behind, ahead, or have no knowledge of it. I'm thinking, if people want tech classes we could do ahead, but more fallout (videogame) type of tech where it's scrapped together. What do you think?
