"I'll lock up."

She pointed at the window with her thumb. They couldn't been seen together walking around the castle with her brothers still here. Eve really wanted to go over and hug her friend. It was odd thinking about it. Ever since she laid foot in this kingdom it was like her whole world had turned upside down. She was able to smile again. To cry. Laugh. To act on how she felt instead of being cut off from everyone from her grief and hatred. The ice around her heart had melted and it was starting to warm again. The world was bright and full of color now. With a wink she jumped onto the windowsill and turned around. Eve gave Elvira a thumbs up then hopped out the window, pushing it shut, and tinkered until it was locked from the outside. Such burglary skills. Feeling energized she flitted from roof top to roof top staying out of sight. For now. Maybe she'll spice things up and pop in on the journey. Mm.... Maybe, maybe not. Depends on how she felt later in the day.

Elijah walked to the front gates doing a once over before finally arriving at the gates where him and Sara were both somewhat blushing. "Careful Sara this man is the playboy king with those looks, many a women have fallen for him" he said smirking at the glare he received from both of them but shrugged. He walked up to them saying "let us go Gabrial we must be off" he said walking forward, Elijah turned his head and said "Sara play nice with our sister as well, i really dont want to hear any bad reports" he teased one ladt time as he stepped into the shadows and was gone.

She pointed at the window with her thumb. They couldn't been seen together walking around the castle with her brothers still here. Eve really wanted to go over and hug her friend. Elvira heard Eve say "I'll lock up," and pointed to the window. She knew that she was going to follow Elvira and Sara to Nai-rah secretively. She watch Eve jump out the window and lock it up. With a smile, she turned around and headed out the door, locking it behind her. . .

It took her a little bit to get down to the front of the castle, when she arrived she saw Saraphina, Gabriel, and Elijah disappearing into the shadows. How did she know Sara would be around Gabriel, behaving herself. Elvira greeted everyone. "Good morning everyone." She walked up to Gabriel and hugged him, also kissed his cheek. "You smell like her," she whispered, referring to Saraphina. When pulling back she glared at him. "Go, before Elijah leaves you behind." After seeing Gabriel leave, she looked to Saraphina. "Good morning Sara, are you ready to leave?" she asked as she saw the carriage pulling up. "Stable boy," she called. "We'll just need horse. No carriage please, we need to travel quick." she smiled to the boy. "Thank you, darling."

When the stable boy left to take care of the horses, she turned back to Saraphina with her arms crossed. "What did I say about playing with my brother's heart?" her eyes narrowed. Eve was around, even though Elvira was the only one who knew it, but that didn't change the fact that her friend was around. Elvira wasn't going to have some nobody ruin what Eve and Gabriel had.

((lol Sorry Persephone, just causing some drama.))

"As if I am not already aware of Gabriel's reputation," she crossed her arms. Saraphina felt ashamed or embarrassed when Elijah made such a comment. "How dare he!" she thought. It was repulsive. As much somewhere deep down inside her heart Saraphina has harbored such romantic feelings for Gabriel she could not have him. That was made very clear by todays letter from his runaway bride. "So, this is what it's like to have a broken heart," she thought to herself. She had almost frown in front of Gabriel and Elijah from these thoughts if Elvira had not arrive. That's when she put on an expressionless face. Pfft! Oh, Sara will play nice when Elvira stops pestering her.

Saraphina just bowed respectfully but slightly at Elvira's arrival. Her expression then soften to see how sweetly Elvira treated her brothers which made her think of her own siblings. Asroilu and Helena. She miss their company. "Goodnight sirs. May your journey be safe," she told Gabriel and Elijah. As the men were off Saraphina turned her attention to Elvira the woman under her protection this fine night. Oh, goody. "Of course madam," she replied politely. The best she could.

As things almost seem to be well between the two did Elvira decide to open her big mouth deciding that Gabriel needs someone to stand up for him. Goodness Gracious! And so Saraphina gave the woman a small glare and spoke, "As if I would ever do such a thing. He is my friend and Lord. Not some chew toy," she growled slightly. Almost losing her composure. Saraphina then gripped her fists, bit her lip, and rewrapped her wings around herself from feeling ruffled. "Why must she always be under my skin!" Than the horses were finally brought and readied for the night's travels. Saraphina quickly got onto her horse, gripped it's reins, and said, "I apologize for my outburst madam." Speaking more calmly.

It took a little bit to scale the rooftops during the day. Easier to be seen by the guardsmen. She hid at the base of a turret then hopped up into after the patrol went by. There she was hidden in shadow to watch her family part ways. She had just missed the bumping into of Gabriel and Sara. But she could see even from there that something was going on. Perhaps she was just being jealous though. Leaning against the wall she crossed her arms reminding herself repeatedly that she wasn't to be seen yet. When Elvira showed up she couldn't help but smirk at her friends charm and sass. Oh such good times. She couldn't hear them from where she was positioned, but she could see everything as clear as a bird to its prey. Eve nearly jumped out the turret when Sara tightened her fists. Nothing happened. Man. This was going to be a long journey if she stayed this tense. She needed to travel behind. Keep some distance between them. Seeing as how they were taking horses it shouldn't be too much of a problem depending on how hard they rode to Kaels castle. At least they were on their way now. She stayed put until they were out of sight and she could slip pass without being seen by the lower patrols. They were so lax in their duties. She was determined to fix that when they were all home.

Elvira could sense Eve being close, it was that one ability she always had. She felt comfortable feeling Eve's presence nearby. It made her happier, but when Saraphina responded the way she did, Elvira nearly lost it. "Watch your tongue, Saraphina, and remember Gabriel is off limits," she growled. If Eve was around she would have ripped Saraphine in half. But she took a deep breath and just looked at Sara, waiting for the stable boy to return with the horses.

"I apologize for my outburst madam." Elvira was shocked to hear this. With a calm tone she replied. "Apology accepted. I do not mean to be rude. But Gabriel's heart is sensitive. I am very protective of my brothers. I would even stand up to Elijah's betrothed to protect him too. My brothers' hearts are not to be toyed with. They have had enough heartache in the past. It is my job, as their sister to see that nothing happens to them." she merely responded. Then the stable boy had returned with the horses. Elvira place a foot in the stirrup and threw her other leg over the horses back, landing her foot in the other stirrup. Gripping the reins, she looked to Sara. "Let us be on our way..." Now for the terrifying part.... Kael......

Gabriel stood there quietly, waiting for Saraphina to say something. It was becoming awkward, to his luck Elijah showed up. "Careful Sara this man is the playboy king with those looks, many a women have fallen for him." Maybe it wasn't lucky for Elijah to show up. Gabriel sighed. "Really Elijah. My apologies, my brother has seemed to forget his manners." Then Saraphine responded "As if I am not already aware of Gabriel's reputation. That made him very angry. "Last time I save you from falling." He glared at Saraphina.

As if his day couldn't get any worse, his sister showed up. She hugged him and whispered "You smell like her," which he knew she was referring to Saraphina. "Seriously, you too?" he whispered back. That was it, Gabriel was done with the jokes and back talk. "Good day, Elvira. Behave ladies." To that he stepped into the portal and headed for Vil-lon with Elijah.

Saraphina wanted to pin Elvira down, pull her hair, and, drop her from the air for that stinging comment. Please! As if Saraphina didn't have every right to be mad with Elvira. This woman has always treated Sarah like dirt and because of that not many in Triali liked her. Despite her rank among the clan or where she came from. To Sarah Elvira was a spoiled brat that Grabriel and Elijah catered too much. But she also had to remember to hold her temper. She wasn't a kid no more. She was a general. That's right, a general. She must stay calm. Stay calm.

Saraphina was calm enough to then apologize for her actions. She may not feel like she should have but Elvira was still of a higher rank then her. She was the Lord's sister. And... she must except to be treated like dirt from this woman.

As the stable boy was bringing their horses did Elvira responded after Sarah's apology. She didn't expect the woman to respond so calmly. But Elvira did anyways. "And I would protect this clan with my life," she told Elvira. Then hops onto her horse and rode off with the Lady.

Elijah arrived right behind his brother as they quickly walked along the hallways to Gabrials room where he slept "let us be wuick brother you know how father is about punctuality" he said as they arrived at his brothers room and he bowed his head. "Meet me oit front i will quickly see my beloved then we will head out" he said heading to where he knew Branwen would be... In the library reading as usual. He snuck up behind her which was usless to there connection and when she announced his pressance he smirked and kissed her neck playfully "Hey love Gabrial is grabbing his things and we will be leaving, my brother apologizes for how he acted towards you and hiped you will forgive him". Elijah knew Branwen was not one to hild grudges over things like what had happened but he still told her as he knew Gabrial didnt mean to be rude to his wife.

Once Branwen was finished with her meal she thought to herself. "What should I do now?" Of coarse naturally she went to the place she loved the most. That would be the library to read. Sometimes she couldn't read enough. She got lost in a book when Eli snuck up behind her than kisses her neck playfully sharing "Hey love Gabrial is grabbing his things and we will be leaving, my brother apologizes for how he acted towards you and hiped you will forgive him". Branwen gently closed her book giving Eli a lovable sigh and caressed his face.

"Of coarse I forgive me. He should know me better. I don't hold grudges." she smiled. "All is in the past now. Be careful my love. Return to me." she kissed before standing and exiting the library.

She decided to go outside to enjoy gardens. She took a parasol and decided to walk through their beautiful gardens. Oh how she loved their gardens. She enjoyed watching the tiny humming birds fly from flower to flower drinking their nectar. While she walked through the garden enjoying the splendor of the view and sight. It really did help calm her down after everything. What had happened was much more in the past now. She was never the type to forget a situation but she wasn't the type to hold grudges either. A couple of times as Branwen walked around a couple of bunnies would pop up now and than dashing across her path. She'd giggle at their play. Oh, how she longed for a pet. "Maybe I shall as my beloved Eli for one!" she gasped she smiled. When reaching one of their tables. A servant brought some tea and cakes.

"Thank you. Looks like I am just in time." she smiled and sat down.

A small, grey owl made its way to Triali Castle. In search of its Lord. A letter was attached to the owl's leg, tied with a charcoal ribbon. It soared through the sky, using its keen senses to find Gabriel. The bird flew around the castle looking through every window. But there as no sight of him, the bird had even went to the Tavern just before looking for him. So, with that, the owl searched for Elijah or Elvira, but could not find them either. She was baffled by this, slightly frustrated he landed on Elvira's window sill and studied the castle grounds. As her big blue eyes scanned the gardens she found Branwen, Elijah's soon-to-be bride. Relieved to find someone, she made her way over to Branwen.

The little grey owl landed upon the very table Branwen was sitting at, "Woo.Woo." she chirped at her, she hoped around a little to make sure she had her attention. If the bird could smile, she would. She got close for Branwen to grab the letter.

The letter read:

Father, Aunt Elvira, or Uncle Elijah.

Whomever may be reading this, I am returning home in about two days time.
I am not far from home. But due to trying to keep myself masked from Lyemar,
I shall not speak of my whereabouts. I have missed you all so much and
I cannot wait to return home. I have good news to tell.

See You Soon,
Bast

In the middle of her second cup of tea and third piece of cake. She was scribbling a list of pets she would request from Eli. Suddenly to her surprise a small grey owl landed on the table.

"Oh, why hello there." she said softly and the owl chirped back at her. The cute little owl hopped around grabbing Branwen's full attention and it wasn't long before she noticed the note. "You are an energetic little one. Oh, well what do we have here?" she wondered grabbing the note gently. Branwen glanced at the note uncertain whether to open it or not. It was not addressed and opened it only to know who it addressed to:

Father, Aunt Elvira, or Uncle Elijah.

"Well thank you sweetie. I will give one of the following." she said grabbing a piece of cracker, crumbles it, and offers some to the little owl. "Here you go. I shall take this in right away." she smiled grabbing her tea cup and finishing the last drop before leaving to search for Eli or the others.
