Rafe smiled again, "Let's see...I have two brothers and a sister. Lacroix and Orpheus are my brothers, and my sister's name is Fleur. It took all three of us boys to keep her safe when she was younger, before we all had things of our own to do. I suppose Lacroix keeps up with her now. I haven't spent much time with my siblings in a great while. Nor with my parents. It's hard to be around people who love you when you can't feel their love or the love you have for them. So I'd like to get into touch with my family once we have things squared away."

Flora was relieved that the topics seemed to be getting a bit better and less dramatic. She knew she probably wasn't making it any better, but it almost seemed that her family had a lot of issues in and of itself and most of them had been covered up until now.
"That sounds nice to have brothers. I only grew up with sisters, although I didn't get to know them too well." She paused for a moment. "That is sad though that the males can't feel anything." She slightly frowned. "If I knew I was that important to you a couple mins ago I wouldn't of seemed so antsy." She paused. "Then again it doesn't matter." She cocked her head to the side. "So about that drinking blood. Is that something your herd does?"

"It's something that my people do, though not everyone in my herd is Carpathian. We do not kill when we drink though. Which is of great importance as that's how we tell those of us who have lost their souls from those of us who still have them. Carpathians with no souls have to be eliminated or they will cause great damage to everything they come into contact with." He wasn't trying to be dramatic, for him, these things were a part of his everyday life. He smiled, "I promise I am not trying to scare you, Flora."

Flora listened to his tale about the males. "I see. Then that is really of great importance then." She walked over a bit more towards him before sitting right down at his side. "Well at least you don't have to worry about becoming a ravenous beast then. If it helps you keep a clear mind then I'm happy I got to meet you." She swished her tail back and forth. "I just hope your family approves of me."

Rafe flashed her a brilliant smile, "How could they not like you? You will find that they will adore you, Flora. My parents and siblings will think of you as their own blood kin. My mother will be excited to have another daughter to dote on, and my father will protect you with his life, should he need to. You're stepping into a world where you'll be loved by every member of my family that you meet. But should they not, you simply tell me, and I'll see to it that they do." He laughed teasingly, "But seriously, they will absolutely adore you."

Flora smiled a bit. "Well it's nice that they would recognize me and you as a couple." She looked up at the sky admiring the beauty of it. "Say I know this might sound a bit forward, but do you want to go for a night fly? The breeze against your skin is one of the most relaxing feelings." She got up and stood on her legs. She was recuperated from her energy outburst and got her second wind, plus she had perked up a bit with some company that treated her ever so nice for a change. "Besides, I might want to play a bit if you don't mind."
