It was very late on the last night of the masquerade, but Kyouya Ootori had actually been saving a dance for Miss Arillena for several days. He just had never been able to find a moment when the two of them were both without partners. It was with a small amount of pleasure that he found her unoccupied near the end of the ball, and with a polite bow, offered her a hand to lead her to the dance floor.

The elf looked up as she heard footsteps approach her, "Oh, Hello Kyouya," As he silently asked her to dance Ari blushed pink and smiled. She took his hand and followed him. "This event has been full of surprises hasn't it?" She giggled shyly.

Arillena The elf looked up as she heard footsteps approach her, "Oh, Hello Kyouya," As he silently asked her to dance Ari blushed pink and smiled. She took his hand and followed him. "This event has been full of surprises hasn't it?" She giggled shyly. Kyouya returned the giggle with a quiet smile, wrapping one arm around her waist and lightly setting her other hand on his shoulder. "Certainly. Some even I didn't expect," he said lightly. "What did you find most surprising, Miss Ari?" he wondered, as the music began to draw them along.

Ootori_K Kyouya returned the giggle with a quiet smile, wrapping one arm around her waist and lightly setting her other hand on his shoulder. "Certainly. Some even I didn't expect," he said lightly. "What did you find most surprising, Miss Ari?" he wondered, as the music began to draw them along. "Hm.." The elf thought for a moment, "I think the most surprising thing was the final reveal." She smiled, "I didn't realize a few of you were portraying other hosts~" Having gotten used to dancing finally, she looked up instead of at her feet as she followed Kyouya's lead.

Arillena "Hm.." The elf thought for a moment, "I think the most surprising thing was the final reveal." She smiled, "I didn't realize a few of you were portraying other hosts~" Having gotten used to dancing finally, she looked up instead of at her feet as she followed Kyouya's lead. "We didn't really plan it that way," he admitted -- perhaps a moment of unusual candor for the normally secretive host. "It was more or less a spur-of-the-moment decision. I hope you found it entertaining, even if it was a little frustrating, perhaps."

"We didn't really plan it that way," he admitted -- perhaps a moment of unusual candor for the normally secretive host. "It was more or less a spur-of-the-moment decision. I hope you found it entertaining, even if it was a little frustrating, perhaps." "Oh it was definitely entertaining~" She said keeping up with his pace. "However you all did give some of us a difficult time trying to guess which masks you were hiding under," Ari laughed softly. "It seemed we had to rely on what we recognized about each of you without seeing your faces." Which for the elf had proven harder than she'd thought... " "You were certainly difficult to find," She said without thinking, "I swear there had to be at least 3 Kyouya's out there." Realizing what she said she blushed again.

Arillena "Oh it was definitely entertaining~" She said keeping up with his pace. "However you all did give some of us a difficult time trying to guess which masks you were hiding under," Ari laughed softly. "It seemed we had to rely on what we recognized about each of you without seeing your faces." Which for the elf had proven harder than she'd thought... "Metaphorical masks as well as physical ones. I admit, it was intended to be challenging, but I hadn't anticipated just how much it turned out to be," he said lightly. And on how many levels. There were things Kyouya himself had found very challenging about the past week. He might have smiled just a little at her blush -- but it was gentle, not one of those cool smirks. "Seeing me around every corner? I'm flattered to be in your thoughts that often, Ari-chan."

And on how many levels. There were things Kyouya himself had found very challenging about the past week. He might have smiled just a little at her blush -- but it was gentle, not one of those cool smirks. "Seeing me around every corner? I'm flattered to be in your thoughts that often, Ari-chan." Arillena Ari nodded, she was quite familiar with the use of metaphorical and other invisible masks... Her heart skipped lightly when he smiled, this one was faintly different from the rest. The elf tried to think of how to respond. She could not deny that she thought of him often, instead she simply smiled again and briefly averted eye contact. "I-... I guess I will admit I was hoping to find you," She said softly, "Hehe... It was challenging like you said... But..." She looked back up at him, still pink and soft-spoken. "At least the last dance was with the real Kyouya." Suddenly she giggled and smiled brighter, "Unless that's Someone else under a Kyouya Mask?" She teased. "I'm fairly sure you have the real Kyouya this time, and I hope you're finding him acceptable, after all those other versions." Or at least, she had as much of him as he'd let her see, at any rate. Though he might not be wearing a physical mask, that guard he kept on his thoughts and feelings was still very much intact. "I'm glad I got to share the last dance with you, too," he said, as they shifted into a bridging sequence of steps. "I haven't crossed paths with you often, recently. I hope you've been well -- and your sister?" The elf laughed with him, "I can honestly say I prefer this version of Kyouya." Ari smiled despite the odd feeling she had as they spoke. "It's funny.." She said softly, "We think that once the colorful mask comes off, there's nothing more to hide. Nobody considers the masks that hide behind the eyes." Creating a veil preventing one from knowing the truth... The elf sighed mentally. She couldn't sense too many of these Invisible masks, only from experience using them could she identify them in others. Ari smiled, "It's true we haven't run into each other lately, The timing seems to always be backwards, I have been doing well." She giggled. Ari subconsciously nodded when he asked about her 'Sister'. "I can only assume she's been doing well." Her tone changed, it sounded faintly concerned. "It's extremely strange. Every time we try to meet somewhere... One of us can't make it due to over sleeping, Nausea or faintness." She stepped in time with the music while remembering, "This last time was me, I asked her to come to the club- I figured it was good place, but As I went to leave I grew dizzy in the doorway.. When I woke up it was hours later and I was in the kitchen." "She wrote to me that she had met Mori and Tsuki, but I haven't asked either about her yet."

But his expression shifted to mild curiosity and concern, as Ari explained further about her sister. "That's ... interesting," he said softly, mulling over what she'd said, filing away the details, and making a mental note to talk with Mori sometime soon. "She only ever writes to you? She doesn't have a cell phone?" The elf shook her head, "She does not appear to understand technology at all." Not surprising considering her time in that place. "Honestly I don't think she knows what one is..." Ari fell silent for a moment thinking to herself. She didn't realize she had stopped dancing. "I've not spoken or heard from her since we were very young. I began to think she had passed away until I found her first letter taped to my door." Ari looked up at Kyouya, "Don't worry I am 100% sure it's her." She assured him in case he had been suspicious of Allyra's sudden appearance... or Lack there of. "...She shares the same early memories I have of the time she was sent away..." Ari sighed and Giggled semi-shyly, or maybe nervously? "It's um... kind of a long story I- I don't want to bother you with it if you don't have the time..." She hoped her stalling wasn't too Obvious. She expected there would be questions, and wanted to be as prepared as possible.

Arillena Ari smiled and curtsied to his bow. "I actually live within walking distance of the school..." She said hoping it would suffice, though it was true. The elf had a car, but she rarely used it. "I Think I'll go and change out of my Ballgown and head home after." She smiled again and said, "Thank you for the last dance, Kyouya~ And I'll be happy to tell you my story later, Good bye for now." With that the elf curtsied a second time and waved as she left for the changing room. Thinking to herself... In the meantime... I should figure out for myself what my story is...((Oki doki loki.... I see you have this Message of Kyouya research mode activated. How can/should I help you with that?)) "Ah, I see. In that case, I should wish you a pleasant walk, then," Kyouya said lightly. He didn't miss that deflection, being something of an expert on the technique himself, though he supposed he could put it down to her being tired. Still. Interesting. "I'll see you in the club sometime soon." He bowed again, and brushed a feather-light kiss across her petite knuckles. He gave her another of those quiet smiles, and disappeared off with a casual wave. (( Kyouya is going to dig into your character's background -- it's just like a regular RP, but you're in charge of whatever he finds. If what he finds breeds more questions, I'll send you another PM with roleplay for further searching. *quiet amusement* Miss Kyandii and I had a very long series of research RP PMs ... ))
