Above, is a painting of The Wilds as seen from it's southern facing edge, where the River Áslot meets the Iringod Spires. The Wilds encircled the mountainous region and gives home to some of the most 'african 'wildlife' if we're to compare with Non-Magic Earth.

It was early in the morning a thick fog covered most of the tree tops. The sound of the early birds singing echoed trough out the forest like sweet music in symphony. Suddenly the singing stopped on a dim and everything grew quite ,and then the birds began to scatter all animals that were sleep began to shriek in terror and run for their lives! Something was stirring something not natural something supernatural and evil. A young boy could hear the screams and the roar of a hideous creature it was....a chimera a unholy union of animals not found in nature.
Most likely created by magic or science or even both no matter its roots the thing was a threat to all that lived in peace. The young man was tasked with slaying the beast for good. He stood near the edge of a cliff that over saw the forest he could see the birds scattering and trees being toppled over. He held an amazingly crafted blade on his shoulder(like his pic) as he looked down with fiery azure eye's. The time to act was now he jumped from the edge and landed perfectly atop a thick tree branch. He was no ordinary human he is a magic earth human this decent was nothing. He had set bait for the nasty beast for weeks now and his patience was rewarded it was time to hunt!
Like a ninja he jumped trough the trees with ease so perfectly he might as well, be a monkey ninja. The bait he had set was rotting meat in a jar several of them. He learned about these beast a while ago and the parchment had all the info he needed.Tracking a chimera is tricky the beast are really violent but, they come in many verities and the one depicted in the rumors and the parchment all point to a king Chimera. They are pretty fearsome opponents with a large bulk, with three heads a lion an eagle and a goat complete with a large snake tail.
With the added ability to shoot blue flames from their mouths this was going to be a drag. Mephisto did not know the meaning of fear and saw this as a chance to have a grand slam battle. His trusted blade Gaia saw this as being reckless. When they finally saw the beast in all its terrifying glory it was burning everything with blue flames. A thick fog of smoke was over taking the natural fog the thing had to be stopped for good. Standing on a high branch he got ready to play taking the sword of his back and pulling back as he was about to throw it like a boomerang.
Hey Gaia I hope you're up for this one we got work to do. Mephisto spoke with a cheery grin on his face he was waiting for a fight and it was so close. Without warning he threw the blade like a boomerang with such force the air was being ripped away creating a whooshing sound. The chimera almost caught off guard but, put up it's large arms to block the attack ,and when it did it regretted doing so, as the extremely sharp blade left it's arms in a bloody mess creating a thick line of red gushing out of both forearms. The only reason it's arms were not cut off was because it's strong bones were durable enough to withstand the attack. Gaia came swinging back his way,and Lucas caught it with ease and at the same time jumped from his perch. Landing perfectly the chimera set it's blood shot eye's at the young human as if hating him forever being born.
Gaia the sword spirit had just awoken form her nap completely oblivious of the danger around her Eh, young master what is going on don't tell me you found it without waking me first she mumbled. Her voice was soft and at the same time sounded noble but, without the snobbish whine that often came with it no it was more motherly than that.A young ghost woman appears right next to Mephisto she wore clothes unlike anything ever seen, she was more translucent then solid, she had glass like butterflies that surrounded her every time she appeared and most of all she is a ghost of a very old sword a spirit out of time. Gaia fixed her eye's on the beast before them and she shake's her head I got your back she said suddenly she was going to help him on a whim. They are friends after all and already she knew situations like this was not their first fight together.
The chimera was all black and bulky like a lion on steroids it stood about 8ft tall with the body of a lion that could walk like a man. Each of it's heads looked twisted and corrupted,and to make things worst all the other heads seem to chatter in some sort of demonic lingo that Mephisto could never understand. All the beast head had that blood shot eye's that felt like they could drive a man crazy if he stared to long. Lucas knew that gaze and so, he never looked at the thing's eye's but it's torso instead. The monstrosity was casting a spell. Lucas guessed as much and prepared to summon a earth dome. A less experienced hunter would fell to understand this and would have died horribly.

The early morning was usually the best time to go traversing the Wilds of South Occulas. Being the less 'interfered' part of the world, as Castayu Del'yir would put it, the wildlife was often at it's most calm. Rúna could recall coming through the southern plains once and coming into a rather... messy encounter, with a pack of Leeons. Like Lion's of Earth, except far more... ferocious, and big meaty claws.
Then a horrific sound coming from the forest nearby took her attention away from the horizon north. Whipping her head round to try and hear the noise better as it echoed from the mountainous horizon she could see to her south. Whatever it was, it sounded like it belonged in the Iringod Spires. Breathing in, she had two choices, one meant she ignored it and continued up north to find the nearest town and Zeppelin to Neutral City. Or, she could head south into the forest and find what it is, kill it, and take what valuable parts there are of it. She could make quite the profit.
When she saw the line between the field and the forest, her mind was made up, she would head into the forest and find the creature, it was about time she did something beyond the normal, the trading life was becoming the same everyday.
Further in she found herself nearby a small clearing in the trees, the sun beamed through an opening in the tree canopy above, and she wasn't alone. The monster that she heard before was of her most hated in the Wilds, a Chimera. With it's macabre body and putrid breath, she began to regret making the decision to come. "Ah, blo*dy hell" she cursed under her breath. But that wasn't it, the Chimera was distracted for the moment, it had it's sights on a young boy, peering over she saw him. He was, odd, compared to most people she had seen, reminded her of one of those Green Guild people. The druids had there ways, she thought. At first glance she wondered how on Magic Earth he was going to defend himself, but that giant blade hanging from his hand, not even touching the floor, seemed to be an example of his might. Bravery however, she was yet to decide. Clenching her fists, she then swiped some leather gloves from her pocket and proceeded to put them on quickly, these thing's weren't the nicest to touch. Keeping her fists tight, she made sure not to go in first, she would first wait for the other boy to make a move, distract the Chimera for her.

As the chemria finished its chant so, did Lucas tapped the tip of the sword on the bare ground. From it's three gaping mouth a storm of black needles spew forth at high speeds a dome of strong harden earth covered Lucas completely. The needles slammed into the dome but they came with a punch as they exploded on impact. The hunter could feel the dome shaking and breaking but, that only made him more determined. Huh! this thing is full of surprises he wasn't expecting it to do a high level magic spell so early in the fight.
The sly hunter was well prepared though calling forth the earth magic blessed upon him by the great Gaia. His free left hand began to glow a light green color the magic aura left little sparkles out of his hand. He kneels and places his hand on the earth and soon it began to sink in taking him down like an elevator. Memorizing the surface area he picks his eruption wisely behind the creature but knowing full well, the snake tail would spot him but he would be ready. My Lord you're genius when it comes to battling i'm often left with my mouth gaping she chuckles. Lucas grin all the more but, couldn't take all the credit after all she was right here in every battle Nah this is more of a team effort I probably wouldn't be able to take on such creatures if I just used a regular sword..you're my special friend. If sword spirit's could blush then she would be doing it instead she nodes and gave him a warm smile.
When he erupted form the ground he was five feet off the ground as the earth pushed him up into the sky. As expected the purple snake tail reacted by blowing flamethrower of blue flames at the boy.Perfect he said tensely as he began to spin the blade like the blades of a fan blowing away the flames before they even touched him. Good thing he started his decent and one hand was all he needed to spin the blade. His glowing left hand was now holding a neon colored ball of energy; as soon as he touched down he moved with haste he dropped the ball into the earth! The energy ball was absorbed and then the ground began to shake as if roaring in rage.
The chimera finally turned around when the earth dome was fully blown to oblivion. When it turned around feeling it's tail spewing fire it was too late! It gave a comedic gulping sound as a mighty earth made a fist slammed into it's whole body( The fist was the size of a truck). The impact was so great the fist shattered on impact as well, and made loud BOOM! The chimera was sen't flying crashing trough trees and taring the ground asunder leaving a large scar in the thick forest. Lucas stopped spinning his sword and placed it on his shoulder it might not be dead but, it did suffer a heavy blow. Not wanting to wait and see he took off at high speed. He had the power to restore the tress and the earth but, he would have to wait after the thing was destroyed.
Oh, yeah I forgot to say Titan's Fist That is a very good name for a attack like that. You think so I just made it up .....Oh

There was a silence in the air, but only for a moment, when she stared onwards at the unknown boy and the mythical beast in the clearing. When it opened its mouths she wasn't sure what to expect, Rúna had learned that Chimera's were often unique amongst each other and it was rare to find two with the same powers. She saw giant, abyssal needles were like spears hurling towards it's helpless prey, Rúna expected him to block with that monolithic sword, but instead he summoned the earth around him into a dome. At this point she was edging further from the shade of the trees, nerves in her chest made her feel nervous for what would happen next. He was under there for quite some time. And though at first she presumed he were some sort of earth Elemental, she began to question that when nothing else appeared from the now cataclysmic picture before her, the dome being battered and bombarded, explosions of dirt and smoke all around it.
He then shot from the ground on a growing pillar of dirt and stone, it climbed high before crashing back down again, and with it, the boy - who was seemingly more of a man by his skill. He was impressive, able to spin his blame at inhuman speeds, it struck air Elemental at her, but why would an Elemental like that use an object to create gust? Tossing the thought aside her next glimpse was that of a giant stone fist embedding itself into the now crippled body of the Chimera as it flung into the trees near her, a train of debris fallen behind it. Rúna's eyes looked over to him, and then her left hand pulled tight her right leather glove as she flexed her fingers. Looking back at the Chimera it was beginning to stand again, as much as she felt the mystery boy could handle this, she was closer, and now it was glaring at her. With a quick, dart-like glare at him she assured herself she would do the fighting this time, just for the exercise. Twisting one booted foot into the ground she forced herself forwards and began taking extended leaps with each foot she landed to push off again from the grassy dirt. The Chimera began to groan and let out a roar in intimidation from one of its head as they other bit into the air, dazed almost. When she got close enough it's head lashed out at her, but she jumped up.
The air rushed past her face as she descended to the beasts back and landed with a thud, she stayed only for a second as she jumped again. When she did it was as if a sudden downward force collided with the Chimera, forcing it against the ground like a second invisible fist had dropped above it. The ground around it was collapsing in on itself, and all the while Rúna was rising in the air again. Using he hands to create symbols and gestures, a light blue light flooded between her hands, flinging her arms out the light split into a dozen magical orbs that aligned themselves around her like the hours of a clock. Suspended in the air she ordered the dozen missiles to descend upon the beast, as if i slow motion, but half way they all instantly pummelled the beast.
When Rúna landed, she hit the ground with a small thud and was on one knee, foot and gloved palm. Using her spare hand to brush away her loose hair and shield her eyes from the debris, the impact of her magic was dissipating, the light concluding and the dirt settling. For now it would seem the beast was dead, on its limp side amongst a destroyed crater the size of itself and no deeper than half it's gut. Rúna stood up and looked around for the boy, breathing deeply as she regained herself, it had been a while since she'd done something like that.

As he ran towards his prey Lucas found himself stopping in his tracks his expression was in awe. A women dressed in mostly black appeared out of no where it seemed and utterly destroyed the hideous monstrosity! The women seemed to control time with her attack was she some sort of time mage? If so Lucas had never seen such magic used before it was pretty amazing. Wow huh, she has the skills to pay the rent for sure...not to mention that power what do you think Gaia? Lucas flicked his wrist and the crystal blade shattered into glass and then into light blue energy then faded away.
It was obvious that the chimera was dead and was no more a threat then a dead person. As he made his way to the mysterious and sexy woman (lol) gaia began to analyse her. By the way she's dressed she might be a hunter just like you master,and she did just help us take down the fiend. Hmm who will get the bounty? That was a good question but, first he needed to put out the forest fire and restore the forest. Lucas held his index finger before his face and began to channel the power into his single finger the pointed skyward.
A bright neon light began to glow and grow and then it shot of his finger and up way into the azure sky; after sometime it exploded into a shower of harmless light that seem to dive into the earth below. Suddenly the fire began to fade and the earth began to heal and the forest regrow even better than before! When the beautiful light show faded away Lucas felt his head feeling light that took a lot of energy! He blew a sigh and put on a brave face. He talked and walked putting his hands behind his head in a relaxed manner. Well, she did finished it off so i guess the spoils go to her ..to the victor goes the spoils.
Lucas didn't mind sharing or giving up his whole bounty for another person after all caring is sharing and she did kill it. Gaia floats behind him her feet barely touching the ground. Master are you sure we have been tracking it for weeks now Lucas looked her way his features turning a bit serious I'am as serious as the azure sky besides it's the experience that counts...sometimes and I don't mind. His sentence was spoken in a very light and mature tone as he finally made his way to the woman.
Gaia gave him a look You're too kind sometimes master but you're right. Lucas could only chuckle at that response. When he laid his eye's on the woman he made eye contact you could tell a lot about a person just by their eye's..she was strong woman it seemed. Seems you done gone and busted up my monster...thank you very much I mean that in a good way. My name is Mephisto J Flaversham but please call me Lucas. Gaia glided right next to him and bowed respectfullyThank you for your help milady my name is Gaia I'am the spirit of the sword. she spoke in a soft tone.
Who was this woman Lucas wonders she was dead on attractive,and looked very strong and serious. By the way you earn the prize I implore you to take it you killed it you get it.Lucas said while crossing his arms over his chest he gave a big grin he meant every word.

Once the dust had settled Rúna finally opened her eyes, she stared blankly ahead and noted how the trees were demolished, and then with a quick glance down to her boots she saw how the ground was pretty cracked up too.With a sigh she turned round to face the Chimera, now dead and lifeless on the ground, some flames still burning on broken twigs and branches. Sighing, she thought about the mess she was going to have to leave behind, never to worry, though, she was sure the Circle would get round to mending it... Placing her hands on her hips she looked over the snake head, it was still twitching. But her attention was taken by the growth of dense grass around the carcass of the Chimera, from the corner of her eye she could see a greeny light through the canopy, looking up it was almost like rain, but she couldn't feel it.
Looking around she remembered the young man, and soon enough found him on a few feet away after the fires had died and the trees had began to grow back. She arched her brow when he began to speak, and then realised he must have been on some hunt or something. As he continued to reveal his name, and the girl beside him, she proceeded to look down and take off her gloves before stuffing them neatly into her pocket, half hanging out. For a moment she stared blankly at them, but then finally said "This beast was yours?" with a soft yet confident tone. Then he said the prize was hers, he was quite formal... but informal at the same time, and happy to let her take it all like she'd won some sort of game or something. "I'm not interested in the whole thing" she said "All i want is the venom" she then looked over to the Chimera, then back to Mephisto, as he called himself, though Lucas seemed to be his name to go by. "I'm Rúna, I look after the Ridus Depot in Neutral City" she then looked the two up and down briefly " You don't look like your around here, you from Shard?" she asked, putting together what she knew of the two, and judging by style of fighting and clothing, she resumed something to do with the druids that usually came from Shard City and the surrounding areas. She could be wrong though.

As they made contact with the woman she quickly analyze them. She spoke in a soft tone that sounded like sweet music to Lucas. Gaia was focusing on every strap of words that left the woman's mouth. Mine he said suddenly actually now that I think about it could have been anyone fair game. After all this is a big wilderness,and I'am just one person tasked to kill this here creature. It seems I was unaware of you the whole time but, thanks anyway you saved me,and yourself a lot more time. I'am ''playing'' bounty hunter right now so, i'am not after the venom everybody wins he gave her a wink to reassure her everything was okay. She gave her name and both Gaia and Lucas node in sync what a beautiful name I like it hmm Runa. He was seriously contemplating to name his daughter Runa but snapped out of it.
When she asked about their garbs he gave a soft and humble laugh straight form his gut.Shard... you mean the home of druids no milady I come from a small country village on the edges of neutral City. I'm a farm boy well, I was then I became a hunter the reason I look so, strange is because I modeled my clothing after my grandfather who was a adventurer. I added my own flare so, it looks funny but, I like it to each their own am I right. My home village name is Morning Dew nothing special really but, the food is amazing hmmm food. sweatdrop
Lucas voice was now a tad bit deeper perhaps to show her he wasn't a kid but, an actual adult with a height problem. (think Ed From Full metal Alchemist) Gaia chimed in On another note I'am the spirit of the sword you saw I've been a sleep for at least a thousand years...*sigh* I'am out of touch. She waved her hand before her face dismissing what she said. Ah! don't be so hard on yourself it looks good on you and exotic. Gaia node's Lucas had his way of cheering people up and it shined like rays of sun light. Lucas recalls what the woman said earlier about venom he closed his eye's Chimera venom can be used to kill a LOT the venom is really potent so, handle with care. It works in other was we can now reconstruct the foundation of the venom to cure a verity of diseases.
One last thing it can also be used in potions if your a spell caster. He spoke as if he was in a trance he sorta was. When he open his eye's he unfold's his arms and walk's over to the Chimera,from his hip he takes out his grandfather's steel sword remade to cut monster flesh. Sharper then ever the blade did the job amazingly well,it was like cutting butter the head he took off was the lion it was the leader after all. Withdrawing the blade he held the lion head in one hand with ease. His facial feature changed a bit more serious now and more mature My job here is done what will you do now Runa? I was wondering if you'd like to join us for lunch he said as he walked with the lion head over to her. Once they were done here he would bury the thing deep under ground even it had it uses everything returns to the planet.
Lucas made sure to hide his blush that tried so hard to surface.

For someone so small and bizarre, he certainly spoke a lot. First, he began to explain why he was here, who he was, and even seemed to contemplate the beauty of Rúna's name, with that she cocked a brow at him. When there was a brief pause she didn't stop, expecting him to continue. He explained his outfit a mix of that and this, she could barely understand his choice but chose to accept it, she hasn't the time to be worrying about what another person was wearing. Then the 'spirit' spoke up, she'd never seen a spirit before, perhaps something with an unfinished business, or a curse or something. She ran one hand through her hair as she tried to keep concentration, and suddenly he was talking about the venom. Shaking her head she got back to her senses as her eyes followed him.
She didn't want the venom for poison, or remedies, and as he began using his knife, she said "I want it for neither of those things. I boil it. The remains are good components machines and the distilled water leaves a taint good for shining metal..." and then he held the head up high. Blood dripped from beneath the open wound now, and she scoured slightly at it. "i'm sorry" she said, brushing some hair aside from her face as she looked to the side. "We've only just met, and i have work to attend to. Besides" she added, looking back to him and pointing directly at the head with her dark rings standing out amongst her skin. "I don't think you should take a lion's head as an object to impress".
"Hm" she exhaled cheaply, it half sounded like a laugh, but not mean. She blinked and began to wonder how on earth this guy managed to find his way to her path. Then she remembered, she was the one that came here, off-route. She then turned her back to him and got ready to walk away as she lifted an arm up and said over her shoulder "Good luck with your quest... or... adventure. " she then began to walk.
But something told her this wouldn't get rid of him so easily. Or if it did, then he's bound to cross her path again soon.

Lucas was realizing he was talking a lot maybe he was boring her the expression spoke volumes as she tried to keep up! Lucas payed it no mind ,and focus on her as she spoke. Your going to boil it hm, I admit I never heard of anyone doing that before hm. It goes to show I still got a lot to learn also I was just spewing info earlier I don't know why i do that. When she spoke about shining metal he tilted his head a bit whoa that sounds pretty interesting I've got to try that sometime..maybe you can teach me? He sounded confident he loved to learn about new things especially having a one on one tutoring session.
He began to toss the head up and down like a ball. When she turned down his offer it did not matter his mood turn lighter in fact ouch there goes my romantic lunch plans..just kidding. He laughs softly as he began to turn away his gaze resting on the sky above. When she told him about lion heads not making good object to impress he laughs Trust me if I was going to impress a woman it would be far more romantic....Anyways I got to get going as well, take care and stay alive we might just meet up again. As if reading her mind he held his hand up and waved good by and started to walk off with a grin on his face. He walked miles away in a different direction Gaia was now sleeping again as she often did.
Lucas looked back but the woman was far gone by now and he wonder if he would see her again ,and then he walked off once again he was hoping he would make a new friend...
