Konan
Located in the south, the land of Suzaku has run on hard times. Because very few rivers still flow down through the country, Konan has come to rely on desalinating the sea water. It has made water a precious commodity, where it was once abundant. Though, no one, not even the greediest of landlords will deny a farm water so that they can grow food for the country.
Seisen Village: On the border between Konan and Kutou, near the fork of the Shouryuu and Hijiri Rivers lies Seisen Village. Now a vast fishing village, Seisen is much larger than it was many years ago. Boasting a population of five hundred people, it is constantly getting more members due to the supply of water, which is higher than that around it.
Eiyoh: The Capital city of Konan, Eiyoh's beauty has not waned in the years since the Priestess last graced their city. The Emperor still resides within the palace walls located at the center of the city.
Yukigase Village: Another city close to the Kutou border, Yukigase is rather high in elevation. The main attraction of the city, as it were, is a mountain nearby called Goddess Peak. Because of the once snowy peaks near the village, the snowmelt has mixed with the Hijiri river, and provided the town with a fairly good supply of fresh water.
Hakukoh Village: Once a small village, Hakukoh has also grown like the other villages near by. The Shouryuu river runs directally through the center of the village, making the irrigation for the farms much easier.
Souun: Called the Western Capital of Konan, Souun has gotten a bit worse for wear since the Priestess last appeared. While everything may seem peaceful, there is a rather thriving underworld hiding behind the facade of the second largest city.
Suzaku Village: Named after the patron god of the country, and once named Seirin, it lies southwest of Eiyoh. It is a farming community, and has fallen on hard times. However, the Emperor takes special care to make sure the small village stays going, for reasons that seem to be unknown. In a small graveyard lies a grave marked "Tendoh, The Prince of Suzaku."
Torihakuki Village: Once a thriving, verdant village, Torihakuki has fallen on destitute times and only stays in existence because it is the one way station between Eiyoh and Souun. The place is very expensive, and everything there has a price. And the price gets bigger the more outsiders that show up.
Choko Village: This small village on the other side of Mount Reikaku hasn't really changed much since the time of the Priestesses, with the exception it has grown a little larger. Oddly enough, it has become popular in the spiritual medicinal field.
Kitsurigumi Village: By those who live here, they also call it the Village of the Forgotten. Most of those who live here are either Refugees, those who have no true home or were forgotten by the world. Located in a bamboo forest, it is rather self sufficent, and relatively unknown to those outside of its borders.
Mount Reikaku: Home of the Mount Reikaku bandits, the only noble bandits in the area, the area around is flourishing. The reason for this is because of the bandits themselves. Whatever they steal or request for toll(Ten Mon which is little more than a dollar), part is kept by them to pay for expenses, while the rest is given to the poor. Not all of the bandits like this arrangement, but it is tradition.
