Hello, nice to roleplay with everyone. I'm currently a college student, as I'm sure many others deal with work and school, I attempt to attentive as I can to roleplay.

Biography Amid is a relic in time from an old war. She was human long ago from what she can remember, an apprentice mage along Northern Isles that was known as Alkradine in a whole. In the midst of war her Master was working on heavy research in creating revolutionary weapons, a soldier and weapon in one was the idea. Amid was one of the few created, or used, as the sort of magic dealt with the manipulation of soul and physical sacrifice to give it the power that few dreamed of. She was created into a weapon, but with many back draws(some predicted and some not). Physically strange, physically different, she the magic she once was able to wield ceased to exist though there was a new magic with in her that luckily had a verbal manual to teach her how to use it. The war only progressed worse, before she was able to put herself into any sort of use it all came crashing down. The cities crumbled and the islands sunk beneath the sea, her true form was able to keep her alive and dormant for many years. Through some luck, earthquakes, and the ocean waves she was pulled to land and awoken.
She awoke on a shore in a world filled more with humans and strange technology than anything. She realized that a lot of them had little clue of the magical world, evidently Amid caused a few uproars in the magical community whom sought to capture and detain. She learned of the Veil and opposed in naturally, confronting various creatures of the magical world whilst trying to find a place for herself. Difficulty came when rumors of her true past and nature became more revealed, she eventually kept to herself with all these complications preventing her from experiencing the world she wanted to. She escaped from the clutches of law and fled into the wild to hide in the mountains, finding refuge among elves (whom were oppressed by the Veil to some lesser degree) When rumors of her caught farther wind the right person eventually found her and brought her Jahnhall (through lots of convincing). She leads a more peaceful, and semi-quiet life as a mechanic.
Personality Amid is a bit of a stubborn, loud mouthed girl. She gets excited easily and just enjoys a good time or a good fight as rare as it is to come by. She has a lot of pride to go around, and rarely backs down from any challenge given. She respect for herself in some ways, though not so many in others given by some of her actions. She knows when she's being stupid and won't let any fear keep her from protecting what pride or fun she's having.
Magical Abilities
Amid was formed with a magical sword, no more than a familiar without any true "Wielder". In her human form she has all her five senses though they serve no biological functional need. She has no need for food, and remains immune to illness or poison. Her soul requires some rest of the mind, she can feel any pain given to her and imitates her old body like any other normal humanoid. Any injury she receives in human form will visually disappear if she reverts between her true form and humanoid form (the damage is still very much there regardless of appearance). She succumbs to worse injury under fire and water elemental damage than anything else, magic being more difficult on her than any physical attacks.
Durablity (Passive) - Imbued with the characters of earth, Amid stands strong and steady. She can take a lot of hits before breaking, though it is possible for her to be broken and damaged like any other weapon.
Strength (Passive) - With in her she holds enough strength to lift(or apply force) up to 2000lbs, she can lift about 500lbs with ease, but beyond that can become strenuous and weigh down on her stamina.
Chain Summon - She cannot use herself as a weapon, but she does have a weapon for herself. Chains. She can summon them and control them to reach her enemies from a distance. She can summon four chains at once, each only able to reach out to 50yrds. They are about as durable as steel (not as durable as she is), and can be broken though they will regenerate over time (thirty minutes total required).
Wield - One with determination and trust in Amid can wield her as a weapon. That is when Amid is at her most powerful. She transform into her true self, a large sword with dangling chains. The wielder gains her massive strength,durability, and manipulation of her chains along with a mental link during Wield. The user gains an ability that Amid herself cannot use, which is the ability to manipulate earth around him/her.
General Skills
Mechanic-Over the few years in Jahnhall Amid took the time to learn more in Electric Chemistry, Physics, Metal Working, Maintenance of Weapons and Vehicles.
Music- She's taken a strong liking to today's music. In the past she only ever really listened and danced to it, but she's come to enjoy playing string instruments. Her favorite instrument is the Banjo, she's currently trying to figure out piano. She enjoys various types of music, but is infatuated with artist Elvis. She has a decent singing voice, but she's no expert or siren at it.
Wing Chun- Primary method of martial style.
Magic- Amid was an apprentice Wizard back when she was well...a humanoid Wizard. She has a good bit of experience in general magic practice, though she specialized in Necromancy and magic dealing with the soul initially. Her second specialization is Elemental. She can't perform her old magic anymore, but she's still well knowledged in it.
Relationships
Enoch Alizarin-Co-Workers, she had found him unconscious before bringing him to Jahnhall to eventually live and work in the city.

Biography
Jane lived along a small town by the sea for the younger part of her life, only her mother and younger brother in their home. She lived a quaint life though figured out her strange abilities the moment she met water. Her mother did her best to hide and protect her, grateful for the existence of the Veil. Only her mother and Jane knew of her true nature, and it was kept that way to her mother's elderly age. It was hard to ignore her slow age, her human brother growing faster than she ever could. Dock workers agreed to take her without little question and so she worked the docks for a living. Over the course of a few years Jane fell in love with a female sailor, growing close to her with each passing day they could and missed her over the months she was gone.
One fateful sunken ship took her friend from her, despite Jane's efforts to save her. Jane didn't return to shore out of grief, and no desire to live among those that she knows will fade out of existence. She lived along the shallow seas in a more savage life style, though not completely solitary. She returned to shore when she heard word of Jahnhall and set her sights to live there among those closer to her type. She became a fisherman to live by the sea.
Personality
Jane is quiet, calm, and only speaks when words call for it. She is reserved and comes off as an intense character to most, difficult to approach and talk with. She is a reliable and cares for others, even the simplest stranger. A part of her kindness comes from childish ignorance, another part is the lingering empathy to reduce suffering. She cares more for others than herself, though has learned better not to be a doormat to those that are greedy.
Skills/Abilities
Jane is half merfolk with the perks that she can breathe in water, swim fairly well and even manipulate water. When submerged in water or heavy rain her body adjusts physically for the water. Her fingers and toes becoming webbed, sharpened canines and nails along with loss of most body hair, blackened eyes that can see well even in the dark. The change is not voluntary.
The downfall is that she cannot survive in dry climates, usually suffocating within three days if she is without water. She can't swim beneath 600ft of water, unable to handle the harsher pressures of the deep ocean.
