At my last gaming night, I had pre-arranged a 1500pt game with somebody in advance, and there was also another 1500pt match arranged between two other people. Unfortunately, one of the latter didn't show up, so we decided to get a three-player game going, by deploying in table quarters (6" back from the halfway lines in both directions) and going for 5 objectives evenly spaced down the center line. We only played for 4 turns because they took longer with three separate player-turns, but it was a blast overall!
Who else has tried games with three or more separate players (not allied or doubles games)? What rules or deployment strategies did you try to make it work out evenly?

This last Tuesday, we did a 3 v 3 Kill Team game. Objective in the middle and then we deployed on corners almost like everyone's least favorite deployment, Vanguard.

That must have taken a while, lots of individual models to move...
While that's lots of people, that's still two teams, I'm more talking about three or more separate combatants in a free-for-all.

Oh, I guess I didn't see that part clearly. My bad...I don't ever see more than two people playing, that would take ******** with any list more than a thousand I would imagine.

We did 1500pts a person, it took about 3 hours to get to the end of turn 4, and we stopped there because of time.
