In which me and Hawkeyesgun roleplay.
The entire city was getting ready for the end. Some end anyway. Maybe not the end of the world, nor the end of life but for humanity. So the city and all it's people and technologies would go, far in the ground, where the end would not reach them. They are building it, a huge place where they would all live and the end could rage on but they would be safe. It won't be long now, but even so there is much to be done on the surface still.
That is where the AOSP, the Agecny of Special Protection, came in. To keep the city safe, until it could be safer in their heaven under the Earth.

Omid strolled down the slightly greying halls with a jolly look on his face and freshly shined black boots on his feet. Like all of the AOSP Agents he wore a red suit strapped with buttons and black piping and a shiny gold badge. It was sturdy enough for gun fire and with his cap tucked under his arm the ensemble was quite dashing too, in his opinion at least. He stopped at the door he was looking for and rapped his knuckles lightly on the wood.
Ethicka was an acquaintance and fellow ground agent, having attended the same year in the academy they knew each other, but didn't really know each other. It was just coincidence that they were to be partnered for their first few real missions after their graduation.
After all the drills and practice, they could finally do their job in keeping citizens safe and throwing bad guys behind bars. The thought left him giddy and practically jumping in his freshly ironed uniform, which earned a few curious looks from passersby in the residential compound.
"Ethicka are you ready?"

Ethicka was seated at her desk, the only place in her small office that appeared to be used, with her hands locked in her ponytail. Her brown hair flowed through her fingertips as she gazed at her notes through her dusty glasses, her elbows anchored to the dark wood. Her eyes became fixed on her partners name on the paper, recalling it to be a classmate of hers. Her hands unfastened themselves from her hair when she heard a tapping coming from her door, followed by something muffled that she didn't catch all of. She rose from her desk and allowed her boots to thud gently on her heard wood floor as she approached the door. She accepted the smooth metal doorknob's feel under her hand as she snapped the knob and creaked her door open.Pulling it towards her, its weight heavy, she shifted into her first working day as a full fledged AOSP agent.
"Omid." She let his name slide through her lips and gave him an amateur smile. "How are you?" Her words curt, but polite. She turned back to her door to adjust her sticking knob, and glanced over her shoulder as she gave her door on last tug before stepping to Omid's side.

Omid shrugged nonchalantly, "Quite well thank you, and yourself?" Though truthfully he was excited beyond words he tried to not fanboy over the whole ordeal in front of his partner. They'd be working together from now on so it was best to have a good relationship. He did take a minute to admire Ethicka in her uniform, it was quite a striking image.
"The chief wants us in the Grey Hall. You know for debriefing, probably for crowd control or something." He gestured down the hall where after a few turns and through a security checkpoint was the main AOSP building. The Grey Hall was actually the administrative wing. They began to walk towards it, boots hitting the floor in tandem and he could help but throw her a boyish smile.
