The lovey-dovey, Mushy-gushy kind. Yet, such a positive outlook was sometimes refreshing for the group. Luna herself tried to always look on the positive side of things, doing what she could to help the others less fortunate....and less happy than the others. From trying to cheer up Koji after he lost his mother, to singing with Trip, or doing what she could to encourage the others to not give up hope... Something that came through, thanks to the child of Ichiro, the Time Wizard guiding them back through time. ...Yet, though it gave the other families hope....Those behind were left with the dark, vanishing world. Never giving up hope, Luna found an escape in the Kuzunoha that remained..Ichiro Kuzunoha...at the cost of her parents, who died hand in hand shielding them from the corruption with their very bodies. Bio:Eve Nekata was born in Kuzunoha Village and raised by her father, the last remaining Elder of the Village, and her mother, whom her father chose despite being deemed the 'least desirable' of his arranged suitors because she was the only one he cared for and respected. She was also raised and trained by her uncle Nala, the village troublemaker and resident prodigy before her, and her aunt Nana, the village's sealing specialist on whose back the seal protecting the Village from the Corruption rested...and raised alongside her cousin Naal. Together with Naal and Nala, she was happy in her childhood and grew stronger quickly, learning to keep an optimistic attitude in spite of the darkening world beyond their borders. She was their ray of hope, the promise of a bright future, and her parents and family loved her unconditionally...until the day that the Village fell. On that day, her father tasked her with her first and final mission as a Master Summoner...to escape the village alongside her Uncle and her cousin and find the rumored 'Resistance' somewhere in the world. Weeks passed, maybe months, before the Nala spotted a patrol in the old Supernatural Hotbed and the three remaining survivors of the Kuzunoha Village linked up with the Resistance. And there, Evie continued to grow and make new friends...to use her strength as a symbol of hope and fight back against the darkness of the corruption. And it was there, on a mission to an old Kirijo Laboratory in Port Island, that she met Lael...curled up, abandoned and alone in the facility...no memory of his past. It was her smile and hand that pulled him out of the rubble and brought him back with her to the Resistance...and there, they became the very best of friends...inseparable, close, they loved one another innocently and kindly...but something had happened to Lael in that laboratory that even she could not have expected... And one day she walked in to find him hunched over the injured form of a member of the Resistance with no memory of how he had gotten there...blood on the floors, on his hands...scared and uncertain...she helped him, and she kept quiet...Until a few days later...the body was now bodies...and the blood...there was so much more blood. And just like that, her dearest companion was gone, disappearing out into the Corruption and the world beyond. She could have let him go, and stayed with the Resistance...she could have stayed with her cousin and her uncle and her friends and tried to forget about the boy she had saved and how he had cared about her...and she about him...but she couldn't... She wouldn't let him die alone...be alone... And with an innocent desire and a pure strength in her heart, she left the Resistance alone to search for him...But in the end, she wasn't alone. Though her Uncle could not stop her...he allowed her cousin to join her. Together with Naal, the two survived in the wild for almost two years, searching...following the paths and trails of the boy who ran away...until at last, all paths converged at the door to a strange shelter in the ruins of the old capital, surrounded by death and Corruption... There, upon this place, they found Lael...almost as though he had caught on to their search and lead them to a new bastion of safety. And it was at this door that they discovered the underground sanctuary of the Mori Shogunate, the last standing vestige of the once-mighty Japan in all the world. They were almost turned away, as the doors had been sealed years prior... But one person inside the shelter recognized them...the marks upon their clothes, the face, the eyes of the innocent girl...It was Evie's Aunt Natsume Nekata, who...together with her own son...had survived and joined with the Mori Shogunate's resistance years prior when things got too bad in Yokohama for her to remain any longer. Recognizing her as one of her own clan, she convinced the Shogun to let the trio in...but no sooner had they entered than the Shogun had Lael locked up, recognizing a certain darkness within him...and in the cell he would remain, despite Evie's protests, until the day...eight months later... When together with several other survivors of the now-fallen Resistance, Evie was tasked with one final mission to save the future...this time from her Aunt and the Shogun himself... To go back in time and warn them...of the calamity to come. She was even allowed to take her friend with her, though it was not without protest from her Aunt and Cousins...And so together, this last band of survivors left into the past...to preserve the last surviving members of the Nekata Clan in the future...and save their friends and family in the world of the past. Even though he does have a slight aggressive side, he usually hopes for his sister to help him out when it does flare up. He doesn’t really care much how others feel about his demon arm, though, and treats disrespect of it with ignoring their comments. Bio: Having been born to Zorc and Pyrrha James, Yuu has lived a nice life with his sister. Even though it was just the four of them, they lived a relatively peaceful life. When the corruption had hit, they were not ready for it in the slightest, except for the very little training that he and his sis had gotten from his dad. The monster had gotten his mom before it was dispatched, but it was too late, she was too late, she was infected. After a tearful departure, Yuu and family were off in search of survival, however many weeks that it did last. The next tragedy that befell them was his dad, which had happened more brutally than with their mom. In the end, it was just Yuu and his sister to survive in this monstrosity of a world. After traversing for a long while, they had come across a group that had called themselves The Resistance. Even though his sister was reluctant at first, Yuu joined in full-heartedly, making several friends among them that would last for a long while. She is quite self-conscious of her demonic arm, but it is with her brother’s help and everyone else’s, she is slowly overcoming it. Bio:Sekiko was born to Zorc and Pyrrha and the elder of the siblings. Things were relatively calm while they were children, aside from her father’s off tangent outbursts and her brother’s overcheerful-ness. When the corruption had hit, like the disaster that it was, nobody was prepared for it. Her mother was the first to succumb to the dangerous filth that was the corruption, and she was quite quickly to learn that there was nothing that they could do by their own to solve it, so with a hug and kiss to both her, her brother and dad, they were off. Sekiko was not all that pleased of all the on-the-go survival, but it was all that they could do to live. Then, her father had encountered a horde of Corrupted, which he had fended them off so that they could survive. But when he came back, he was corrupted himself, so Sekiko and her brother had to put their own father down just to live. After surviving on their own together, they had stumbled across a group called The Resistance, and, although skeptical, she had made a place there with her brother. She had grown to be somewhat of a family with them, and even closer battle mates, but she always dreamed of times prior, back with her mother and father were alive. Loves sleep, is particular about fluffy pillows, and hates walking. He prefers to float. Bio: Born in the Nekata Village during the alternate timeline known as the 'Bad Future', Naal was the only blood-son born to Nana Nekata and her husband, Naoya Nekata-Ibushi, before the latter's unfortunate death fighting back against the Corruption that threatened to encroach upon their village. This, however, happened when Naal was eight years old, but before that he was raised in the village with his mother, father, and adopted siblings...and of course, his constant companion in childhood, his cousin Evie Nekata. Partners in crime, in play, and in training, the two of them studied under their high-ranking (in the village) parents and learned the arts of summoning that had made their family famous in the Yatagarasu for centuries before the Corruption had broken the world. They knew about the dangers of the outside world, but were introduced directly to few, protected by their families as they were. In his youthful overconfidence and mischief, Naal even once used his unique summoning powers and intricate knowledge of Summoning Seals imparted from his mouth to unseal a Lucifer far beyond his level in the village as a (terrifying) display of his skill. His uncle Nagamasa and his mother spent a week scolding him and forcing him to repay them for the fight it took not to have him banned from his education in summoning after that one. Nonetheless, he learned his lesson but lost none of his devil-may-care laziness and mischievous spirit. Instead of taking drastic action on his own, however, he began to let Evie's adventurous spirit take the lead, and together they got into all sorts of interesting events around the Kuzunoha Village...often forcing their parents to cover for them and protect them, but always with the loving smiles and playful reproach that made them so endearing to the kids who looked up to them. But the good times, for what they were worth, always came to an end in that world...and when Naal lost his father, it was then that he began to understand the true depth of loss and the danger in the world beyond their borders. Taking his father's name and hyphenating his Nekata title, a practice that was looked down upon by the Nekata elite, he honored his father in that manner and began to take his studies much more seriously ever after. He still remained close with Evie and got into plenty of mischief...but the veil was not over his eyes anymore. More time passed, and things grew more and more dire for the village...until at last, the inevitable occurred and it fell. Thanks to the efforts of their cousins and their parents, Evie and Naal were spared death...but left to find the Resistance and their uncle Nito and survive in the ruined world alone. But survive they did...and find the Resistance they eventually did, though it was an arduous and heartbreaking few months on their own with their Uncle Nala alone to keep them company. There, they met the other Children of the Future, and became close with them...until the incident with one Lael Sonoda once again put their future in question. For his own part, Naal distrusted the pale young man, but he could sense the kind spirit within him. He could also sense something else, and with his expertise in sealing, he could easily conclude after the fact that there was something...terribly wrong, buried inside of him. But before they could find out what he was gone, and Evie insisted on following him. So, too, did Naal...and their journey eventually brought them to the Tokyo Underground ruled by the Shogun, Motonari Mori. It was there that they met another of their extended family...their Aunt Natsu, and her son as well. Time passed there, and Naal learned all that he could from the Shogun and his Aunt and bonded with the newfound family that they had missed back in the Village...but when the time came for the mission to the past with the refugees from the Resistance, Naal knew that he couldn't simply leave Evie and Lael...who they had found near the shelter and helped to rescue them...on their own. By his skill, his knowledge, he would have to succeed in breaking whatever curse or seal or possession was placed upon Lael...because he knew that Evie would never abandon him, no matter how lost or dangerous he became. And so it was that he came back in time, separated from his comrades as he quickly went off in search of a particular knowledge...before he would return back to find his childhood companion once more so that she might know the happiness that his own parents once knew...so long ago... Bio: The battle against the Corruption was raging, but that didn't stop Arimina being Arimina, and she and Roux up and had a child, Fleur. A bright girl, Fleur quickly learnt the ways of alchemy from her parents, developing what she thought would be best to help everyone in such a bleak world, the ability to heal. Sadly, this wasn't enough, and while retreating with her parents, Roux was lost to them, and they couldn't go back to check. She cried at the loss of her father, but her bright nature kept her going, healing the sick and injured as best she could, being useful. Before long, Fleur's group met up with another, and Arimina met an old friend, not that she would call him that for some time, Sreze Murakami. It took time, but both Fleur and Arimina warmed up to him, and Sreze eventually fathered Fleur's younger sisters, twins, Sen and Saku. What should have been a happy time, however, was marred by the ever encroaching corruption, and there was little time to celebrate. Arimina was soon killed while fighting, which devastated her three children, however Sreze was there for all three of them, going so far as to grant them gifts, his own demons, for their protection, and the skills needed to summon and control them. This would have been a boon, but Samil, the demon given to Fleur, proved far too strong for her to control as a normal summon. Refusing to give up, Fleur asked around the remaining survivors, and through a combination of alchemy techniques from a Lin Kuei survivor, demon knowledge from Sreze and other Crows, and the girl's own forceful insistence, she was fused with Samil. Holding out in Tokyo, a call was made for all youngsters to be sent back in time, to prevent the corruption from ever happening, and Sreze insisted that all three girls went though. It took some time to convince them, but Fleur, leading her younger sisters, finally agreed, and with a group of other survivor's children, stepped into the past. Bio: Saku, and her younger twin Sen, were brought up with a mix of alchemy and demon summoning training, and despite the ever-looming threat of Corruption, they still managed to have fun with their elder half-sister. The quieter of the twins, Saku spent a lot more time with her father Sreze, and through watching the way his demons fought, developed a very straight-forward method of fighting. Her ability to mold light into harder than diamond creations proved effective in combat, as effective as anything was when it was Corruption, and it's minions, you were fighting. Almost always calm, the only real time her stoic expression was lost was when she and her sisters received news that their mother had been killed. Tears streaming down her face, she buried her head into Fleur, and, with Sen, vowed to fight as long and hard as they had to. Like her sisters, she had been given a number of demons by her father, and she quickly took control of them, using the training she had gone through to fight even harder alongside them, and her twin. Holding out in the last refuge in Tokyo, Saku, Sen, and Fleur heard the call to go back in time and stop the Corruption before it ever started. While she hated the idea of leaving her father to die, he forcefully insisted, and at Sen's urging, Saku finally agreed. Holding onto her older sister's right hand, she, Fleur and Sen all stepped into the past together, with one truly final goodbye to the world they were born into. She never felt unloved though since the refugees raised her in their stead - the Mori family in particular taking a special place in her heart as the people she thought of practically as family. She could still remember every story clearly and the begging she used to do so she could quickly hear the next. Those were peaceful and fun filled days that Aoi never thought of as “unfortunate” or “lonely”. Sure she always wanted to meet and learn more about her parents, but Minori treated her almost like her own daughter, and to this day could remember how warm and loving the woman was to her. Which made the memory of her leaving with Koji that much more heart wrenching… She wanted to go with them, she didn’t want to be separated from them, but she couldn’t. She was too young. She was weak… It wasn’t long after and the Mori Shogunate going underground that the girl went to Natsume Nekata to reach how to become strong! And she outright refused… But she didn’t give up and was persistent until the fateful day the woman finally caved and promised she would teach her if she could prove herself. The look on her face when she summoned her Persona right then and there before her eyes… The days, months, years, after were harsher, but she became stronger, and the time to put that to the test came in the form of a pink haired girl and the timeless man who offered a way to the past. Although with it came a problem: if she went back to the past, wouldn’t she be able to meet her parents? Up to that point she worked hard to be like her mom and walk in Minori’s footsteps, but now...
