Ronan hesitated for a moment at the question. Knowing ahead of time could help him narrow down names, but... "I think I'll wait. I don't want any preconceived notions coloring the first meeting and such." It'd be better if he could learn what they wanted from them, and not just what he thought they might want. "But I'm sure you'll be plenty excited about it on my behalf."
Checking the time on his phone Ronan looked around the Lab lobby, hoping that it wouldn't be too long until he got called back here again. But for now- "Okay, time for me to head out." This time there wasn't anything for him to take home, only something for him to come back to. And he was okay with that. He made sure to turn and wave on his way out, smile firmly in place. "See you later Zeke!"

"Mystery until the big day; you got it." He could do that. It would pain him terribly to keep the secret under wraps when sending updates to Ronan, but he could - and would - keep the secret mum. "And you bet I will!"
Standing up when the selkie did, the vet closed the case and locked it with two hearty resounding snaps. From there he hoisted and shifted it so it could hang by his dominate left hand at his side, grinning at the man who was hastily making his return to the outside world from whence he had come. Zeke chuckled and waved back, giving a salute just before the other was out the door.
"Bye Ronan! I'll be sure to text you the moment I know anything!"
